Disaster Event – Western Queensland Flooding, 13-20 September 2016 Event and Timing – Unseasonable and considerable rainfall brought flooding and isolation to western Queensland communities. Assistance Activated – The Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Services, The Honourable Bill Byrne MP activated the Commonwealth/State Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA).
