DIOCESAN CYCLE OF PRAYER September 2021 – October 2021

Please give thanks for the contacts we have been able to make with families over recent months and pray for us as we seek to serve the needs of our community through a new toddler group starting in September. Please could prayers be for the current situation in Alderney, where having been almost completely free of the coronavirus, we now have several new cases. In a very small community this has a huge impact , especially as we have to travel by plane or boat to Guernsey for any specialist medical care. Please pray that we will be able to revive our recently established links with local schools as lockdowns ease. As part of our preparation for COP26, we will be holding a Pollinator Workshop and Climate Service in half term. Pray that lots of local children will come to build a bee hotel.

Please pray for Trinity as we continue our 2021 focus on ‘Practising the Way of Jesus’ and consider, this term what it means to do the things that Jesus did in the context of our homes, workplaces and communities. 29 October St Stephen, St Peter Port, Guernsey Deanery WE are at present in interregnum - we ask God’s guidance through the process. We are asking for guidance as we seek to draw people back to faith. We are looking to develop our work with families and children. 30 October St Pierre du Bois, Guernsey Deanery Clergy: Adrian Datta.
