We are excited to announce the participation of several excellent invited speakers, from various European countries. The meeting will begin Wednesday morning with a workshop on desmoid tumors arranged by SSG together with EURACAN. The participants will get the opportunity to hear about the various diagnostic and therapeutic challenges of this disease and discuss some difficult cases. Basic research, diagnostics and treatment of bone- and soft tissue sarcoma will be extensively covered throughout the meeting. A session will be dedicated to immunotherapy, with a focus on why it has not been as effective in sarcomas as in other cancers and how to learn from that when designing new immunotherapy trials in sarcomas. As a new feature we will dedicate a session to give young Nordic PhD students from all disciplines to present their PhD projects. The idea is not (only) to present completed and finished projects but also projects in the process of being written to create discussions, generate ideas and help the young researchers liaise with other researchers and may be expand their projects and create future collaborations. We hope to receive a lot of abstracts with description of PhD projects for this session.
