Membership Directory 2016–2017 Membership Directory 2016–2017 Moving Forward Together INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MOVERS IAM is planning an exciting new online membership directory next year. It will be built around the ability to search IAM’s membership by region and specialty, among other attributes. The directory will be linked to our member database, so your search results will always be current, and new member companies and branches will immediately appear in the directory. This new format will be a significant upgrade for our members, and IAM looks forward to presenting it to you. Whether you are looking for a company to move your belongings or for an organization to partner with in business, you will find them here. IAM comprises more than 2,000 member companies located in 170 countries. IAM’s member companies are organized by member type: Governing members, U.S. and Overseas members and Supplier members. Using the Search box, you can quickly and easily find an organization by country, postal code, specialty, or any other attribute. IAM members are spread across the globe, but the Association is committed to facilitating connections between them all. Ninety member companies are also listed in the IAM Logistics Network (ILN) section. The ILN is a network of IAM members who have diversified into logistics, providing office moving, project forwarding, warehousing and distri- bution, cargo moving and other specialized services outside of traditional household goods moving. The individual memberships section lists the hundreds of IAM Young Professionals (IAM-YP), forging connections between this growing group of young household goods industry professionals from around the globe. The IAM-YP group is the voice of the next generation within the Association and the moving industry and represents the generation that is already on its way to assuming the leadership of both. The section also provides contact information for the IAM Industry Veterans and the Student members. Next year, we plan to transition this directory to a format that is integrated more fully with the IAM website, featuring advanced search options and cross- references to other essential resources. It is our goal as an association to foster connections and cooperation between IAM members and across the moving industry. I would like to thank our members and advertisers for supporting IAM and participating in this directory, and look forward to working with all of you to continue to improve and expand our organization. He aquí, pienso, la felicidad perfecta. Yo no la quiero Eduardo Galeano Parte Prima Subire l’immaginario. Ricostruire l’immaginario.
