• Mark Zuckerberg was born On May 14th, 1984, Currently he is only 31 and he is one of the 5 founders of the biggest social networking site –Facebook. In 2015, his net worth was estimated at $35.7 billion. But the fact that he is one of the youngest billionaires is the less interesting one. The cool stuff here is actually his start up story, describing how a kid became the founder and later the manager of one of the most influential websites on Earth. EARLY DAYS • In middle school he began to write software and use computers. His coding experience began with learning Atari basic programming, with the help of his father. But he was learning so fast, that daddy needed to hire a professional developer to tutor him. David Newman was the man, who was given the task to mentor the young Mark. It was a tough task for the teacher, because the student was developing his skills so quickly, that Newman experienced serious difficulties to stay ahead of him. • At high school Mark excelled in his classes he won prizes in astronomy, physics, and mathematics. IN COLLEGE

• In college (The Harvard University) he was already known as a “programming prodigy” due to the work he had done in high school. There he wrote a program he called CourseMatch that helped students make decisions about the courses they wanted. • In college, the students have books called “Facebooks.”. • Mark build a website that randomly showed two pictures of males or two of females on it. People that visited the site had to choose which person was hotter. • This site went up over one weekend and it was called Facemash . It was built ‘just for fun’ but it became so popular, that the college shut it down because of its popularity. and this caused problems for the student, who wanted to use the Internet. Also, some students didn’t like the idea of their pictures being used without permission and Zuckerberg was forced to apologize for his actions. HERE Facebook COMES

• In 2004 he began writing a newwebsite which he called TheFacebook , working on thefacebook.com domain(the second name of the network). He had several students helping him with TheFacebook including , Andrew McCollum, and , who are actually the other 4 co-founders of the site. • The site was initially just a Harvard site but soon expanded to other colleges and universities. Mark and friends decided to spread the idea and many other universities were included in the network. • The social project started gaining momentum really fast and Zuckerberg decided to drop out of college and dedicate his time entirely to the site. He and his team moved in a small house in Palo Alto, which became the office of the young enterprise. • By 2005 “TheFacebook” was known just as Facebook. • The site opened up to anyone over age 13 in 2006. • By 2007 the site had over 100,000 businesses listing their companies on Facebook and creating pages. • By 2011 it became the largest digital photograph host and had over 350million accessing the site over mobile phones THE EVOLUTION OF Facebook

FACEBOOKS THE FACEBOOK FACEBOOK LEGACY

Zuckerberg, who is also Jewish, is listed as one of the most influential Jews in the world as well. • His net worth is estimated at $35.7 billion in 2015 and currently he is the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the social company. • There is no doubt that Facebook has changed the way we communicate on-line and today it remains a very popular site thanks to this young entrepreneur. Mark Zuckerberg Quotations • Business and Success

• The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.

• I think a simple rule of business is, if you do the things that are easier first, then you can actually make a lot of progress.

• I just think people have a lot of fiction. But, you know, I mean, the real story of Facebook is just that we’ve worked so hard for all this time. I mean, the real story is actually probably pretty boring, right? I mean, we just sat at our computers for six years and coded.

• Move fast and break things. Unless you are breaking stuff, you are not moving fast enough.

• My goal was never to just create a company. A lot of people misinterpret that, as if I don’t care about revenue or profit or any of those things. But what not being just a company means to me is not being just that – building something that actually makes a really big change in the world. Simply put: we don’t build services to make money; we make money to build better services. And we think this is a good way to build something.

• I have this fear of getting locked into doing things that are not the most impactful things you can do. MARK ZUCKERBERG LIFE IN 2015

• In November 2015, Zuckerberg and Chan welcomed a daughter, Max, and Zuckerberg announced he would be taking two months of paternity leave to spend with his family. He and his wife also pledged in an open letter to their daughter that they would give 99 percent of their Facebook shares to charity. • "We are committed to doing our small part to help create this world for all children," the couple wrote in the open letter that was posted on Zuckerberg's Facebook page. "We will give 99% of our Facebook shares — currently about $45 billion — during our lives to join many others in improving this world for the next generation." His future plans

• The success of Facebook is only the beginning for Zuckerberg. He recently acquired several other social networks and tools, including for $1 billion. • His latest mission is to provide free internet to the entire world ( Like now in Morocco we cannect with people just by 0.facebook and its free ) and has invested billions on developingnew technologies to deliver internet connectivity to even the most isolated locations around the world. Zuckerberg is now dreaming of finding a way to live forever. Who knows, maybe he’ll succeed in that as well. • Mark Zuckerberg is the perfect idol for new entrepreneurs. He showed the world anyone, no matter how big or small they are, can make their dreams come true by taking risks and committing to their goals. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION 
