Wir möchten Ihnen hiermit die Pressemitteilung 02 aus 2009 zur Kenntnis geben. Vahid Hashemian – jetzt auch ein MITMACHER bei „5 am Tag“! Herr Vahid Hashemian, Spieler beim VfL Bochum (Nr.16), der für die Saison 04/05 zum FC Bayern München wechselte, kehrte von dort über die Station Hannover 96 nun wieder zu seinem Verein, „in sein Revier“, den VfL Bochum 1848, zurück. Er engagiert sich nun auch für die erfolgreiche Gesundheitskampagne „5 am Tag“. Vahid Hashemian kennt sich aus: ein Profi auf dem Platz und in punkto gesunder Ernährung. Er weiß, dass die Gesundheit das wichtigste Gut für einen erfolgreichen Sportler ist. Der 32-jährige Iraner kann aktuell auf 175 Bundesligaeinsätze und auf 42 Einsätze in der iranischen Nationalmannschaft zurückblicken. Für die Bundesliga hat Vahid Hashemian 35 Tore erzielt. Für die iranische Nationalmannschaft waren es 13 Tore. Ein Hochleistungssportler als Vorbild in Sachen Ernährung. Er weiß genau was es heißt tagtäglich fit und gesund zu leben, um seine Leistungen für den Fußball erhalten und sogar steigern zu können. Durch seine persönlichen Erfahrungen im Hochleistungssport möchte er seinen Bekanntheitsgrad in Deutschland und im Iran nutzen und insbesondere die Jugend bestärken, sich durch mehr Obst und Gemüse gesünder zu ernähren. Junge Menschen für eine gesunde Ernährung zu sensibilisieren, und somit ein leistungsfähiges und langes Leben zu leben, ist für Vahid Hashemian eine große Herausforderung, die er mit Enthusiasmus und Begeisterung erfüllt.
