Inside the Taipei station, look for and follow the 臺鐵 (Taiwan Railway) sign Note: 臺鐵 (Taiwan Railway) is not 高鐵 (Taiwan High Speed Train) b. Ask for the train to Keelung 去基隆火車 (cost: NT$41) To TRA (Taiwan Railway) Buy ticket here To the platform Turn right to TRA 1 The gate to the train Ask him/her for help Platform#4 to train Leg 3. Check the Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) schedule for trains to Keelung http://twtraffic.tra.gov.tw/twrail/EN_QuickSearch.aspx You need to select both the line and the station for both your starting and end points, as well as the date and time. This is what it looks like. The search will give you various options: 4 When you select one of the options, it will show all the stations from start to finish on that line. For example, this train starts in Hsinchu and passes through many stations before it gets to Taipei (where you will get on). If you scroll further to the right, you will see Taipei, and all the stations that the train passes before it gets to Keelung. Once you are at the Keelung train station, you may be in walking distance or a short taxi ride to your hotel. 5 6 .

In order to increase the service capacity efficiency on check-in, security checks, and customs clearance, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications R.O.C. (MOTC), Taiwan, rerouted the airport traffic flow by implementing the in-town check-in (ITCI) concept to decrease crowding in the airport waiting hall. This research examined the structure of critical success factors (CSFs) for ITCIs, deriving three hierarchies of three dimensions, eight criteria, and 18 evaluation indexes from the previous literature, expert interviews, and analysis results from Analytic Network Process (ANP) via Super Decisions software. The three CSF dimensions were: first- level hierarchy “advantageous environments,” followed by “marketing” and “service value,” which is a second-level hierarchy. The study concluded that the third level item of “transferred vehicles system and management” can play an important key role in ITCTs and “users’ usage preference” has a high correlation to ITCT management strategy.
