Beim Eckersprung ver- lässt der Grenz- den Goetheweg und führt am Bodesprung, der Quelle der Kalten Bode, vorbei zur Verzweigung beim Rastplatz Dreieckiger Pfahl. Wer abkürzen will, kann hier direkt nach Schierke zurückwandern, während der Grenzweg der ehemaligen innerdeutschen Demarkationslinie in einem teils verheideten, teils vermoorten Gebiet weiterfolgt. Nach sachtem Abstieg beginnt der Weg an einer Brockenblick-Verzwei- gung wieder anzusteigen, bis der kurze, steile Aufstieg zum Wurmberg ausgeschildert ist. Vom Gipfel mit der Sprungschanze geht es auf demsel- ben Weg zurück zum Grenzweg, der wenig später die Raststelle im Sattel zwischen Wurm- und Winterberg Brocken erreicht.

    Stadt Stadt Stadt Berg- und Braunlage Seesen Langelsheim Universitätsstadt Clausthal-Zellerfeld Infobrief 7 - Mai 2019 Kultur und Gemeinschaft im Westharz Am 27. März 2019 besichtigte die Lokale Aktionsgruppe (LAG) der LEADER-Region Westharz das Heimatmuseum in Langelsheim, welches 2017 aus LEADER-Mitteln saniert wurde. Die LAG zeigt sich mehr als zufrieden mit ihrer Ent- scheidung, einen Teil ihrer Mittel für dieses Projekt zur Ver- fügung gestellt zu haben. Denn die Ausstellung ist in ihrer Vielfalt kaum ein zweites Mal in der Region zu finden. Beflügelt von der Führung beschloss die LAG in der an- schließenden Sitzung fünf neue Projekte, welche im Fol- genden vorgestellt werden. Außerdem wurden im April ab- geschlossene LEADER-Projekte eingeweiht. Mitglieder der LAG haben sich bereits vor der Sitzung zur Führung durch das Heimatmuseum eingefunden Heimatmuseum in Langelsheim wird 40 In diesem Jahr feiert das Heimatmuseum in Langelsheim sein 40-jähriges Bestehen. Das soll am 7. September 2019 mit unterschiedlichen Aktionen gefeiert werden. Ab 10:00 Uhr findet ein Flohmarkt mit privaten Anbietern statt. Um 11:00 Uhr hält Bürgermeister Henze eine Ansprache und eröffnet damit auch die geplante Gemäldeausstellung von Hermann Kießling aus Langels- heim mit Motiven der Hütten und Bergwerke sowie der Harzer Köhlerei. Am Nachmittag treten verschiedene Bands und Chöre auf. Abends wird mit DJ Stefan Wiechmann gefeiert. Natürlich wird auch für das leibliche Wohl vorgesorgt sein. Zum Jubiläum wird es eine Chronik zu den Ausstellungen der letzten 40 Jahre geben. Von der Vielfalt der Ausstellung die interessierte LAG.     Information package “Guerilla Youthwork” Dear participants, NaturKultur e.V. from Germany is happy to organize the “Guerilla Youthwork” training and networking course from 14-22 May 2017, in Braunlage, Germany. The project is financed from Erasmus + program. Participating countries: Germany, Norway, Croatia, Latvia, Greece, Macedonia, Spain, Romania and Turkey. Number of participants per country: 4 Venue: Braunlage, Germany Target group of participants Youth workers and youth leaders, trainers, project managers, and other that are interested in finding “guerrilla” ways how to do our work better and more efficient, how to have better cost management systems, or partner data base etc. Good level of English is required for this training as the tempo will be high. Goals and agenda for the project The main goal of the training and networking project is to identify and solve problems related to lack of financial sustainability, not having sustainable office solution, big turnover of volunteers that come and go all the time, lack of management capabilities from the founders of the organization, lack of leadership skills, lack of PR and media skills, lack of IT skills vis-à-vis visibility, lack of quality network that organizations are facing, lack of knowledge of all programs where they can apply and receive funds for their activities , lack of strategic networking, not having relevance in the society they operate, lack of meaningful projects that address burning issues in society etc. This project tends to find solutions for many administration, accounting and other challenges on the basis of real examples and assessment of organizations. Having in mind that our projects intention is to find solutions for some of these challenges using resources that we have at the moment, we want to work with youth workers from smaller organizations that are facing similar challenges and to ask them to work together to find solutions that will provide sustainability and effectiveness in the work of the organizations.

    By car From directions Hannover and Kassel (A7): Take the Autobahn A7 until exit “Seesen (Harz)”; leave the Autobahn and follow the Schnellstrasse B243 in direction of “Osterode”; in Osterode, follow the signs towards “Clausthal-Zellerfeld” on the B241 (going through a tunnel to leave Osterode); go past the exits of Lerbach, Freiheit and Buntenbock to get to the city entrance of “Bergstadt Clausthal-Zellerfeld”; follow the road to the right in direction of “Braunlage”; after approx. 2 Km you will get to the end of a t-junction; turn right onto the B242 in direction of Braunlage (at that point, you should be passing a Shell petrol station); leaving the town of Clausthal on the B242 you will pass the exit to “Goslar” (do not turn left); 500 m after the exit to Goslar you will see a small farm and signs indicating towards our campsite and the restaurant “Rübezahl”, turn right and follow the road for about three Km to our campsite. From direction Berlin: Follow the Autobahn A2 until the Autobahn junction “Braunschweig Nord”; turn onto the Autobahn A391 until the junction “Bad Harzburger Dreieck”; take the B6 towards “Goslar”; from Goslar take the B241 towards “Clausthal-Zellerfeld”; in Clausthal- Zellerfeld remain on the road in direction of “Braunlage”; leave the town following the raod in direction of Braunlage; you will arrive at the end of the t-junction; turn left onto the B242 and follow the road for aprox. 500m; you will see a small farm and signs indicating towards our campsite and the restaurant “Rübezahl”, turn right and follow the road for about three Km to our campsite.

Dieses durchaus zweifelhafte Vorha- ben - eine kürzlich veröffentlichte Studie sprach mittel- bis langfristig allen deutschen Wintersportregionen im Mittelgebirgsraum ihre Zukunftstauglichkeit ab - geht mit hohen Kosten für die Kommunen und vor allem für das Land Sachsen-Anhalt einher.
