Tender Notice OFFICE OF THE METROPOLITAN CORPORATION RAWALPINDI TENDER NOTICE Sealed tenders are hereby invited for 171 Development Schemes under Annual Development Programme 2020-21 from the contractors/firms enlisted renewed with Metropolitan Corporation Rawalpindi OR registered in any Local Government within the Rawalpindi Division for current financial year 2020-21. The Tenders shall be issued during office time upto 25.01.2021 from the publication of tender notice in newspapers and shall be received upto 27.01.2021 at 01:00 PM and bids/Tenders will be opened on the same day at 02:00 PM. Details of each scheme can be found on PPRA website i.e. (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and on official Facebook account of MC, Rawalpindi https://m.facebook.com/MetropolitanCorporation/. Tenders documents can be obtained from the date of publication of invitations to Bids in the News Paper / PPRA Website from the office of Metropolitan Officer (Infrastructure) on written request accompanied with attested copies of enlistment / up to date renewal letter, PEC Licence of relevant clause of work, Identity Card of Contractors / Director of Firms along with registered power of attorney and on payment of non-refundable tender fee @ Rs. 10,000/- per Tender. 2. No application for issuance of tenders shall be entertained without payment of tender fee against each scheme. 3. Tenders will be received in the office of Metropolitan Officer (Infrastructure), Metropolitan Corporation, Rawalpindi and will be opened simultaneously on fix date and time by the respective tender opening committee at the above venue in the presence of intending contractors who wish to participate/present or their representative at the time of opening of tenders. 4. Conditional tenders will not be entertained. Earnest money @ 5% of the estimated cost of each scheme in shape of CDR/Bank Draft of any schedule Bank should be attached with the tenders/bid document. Attested copies of registered partnership deed and power of attorney in case of firm should also be attached with the application. CDRs/Bank Drafts will be released to unsuccessful bidders after evaluation of bid. 5. As per PPRA Rules, 2014, successful bidder has to furnish Additional Performance Security similar to the below rate of bidder according to the estimated cost in shape of CDR/Bank Draft from any schedule bank of Pakistan within 15 days after the issuance of acceptance of tenders and same will be released after completion of work as per government instructions. 6. Tender rates and amounts should be filled in figures as well as in works. Tender should be signed by the contractor or Director of Firm, No negotiation on tender rates will be acceptable after the opening of tenders. 7. The procuring agency may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of bid. The procuring agency shall upon request communicate to any bidder, the grounds for its rejection of all bids or proposal, but shall not be required to justify those grounds. In case of any clerical mistake, the tender will be reviewed as per PPRA Rules, 2014. 8. Fake / doubtful / conditional & over written Tenders will not be acceptable. 9. The execution / completion of work will be strictly in accordance with the specification approved design, drawing, rates and requirement of contract agreement to the entire estimate (satisfaction) of Metropolitan Corporation, Rawalpindi which will be whole responsibility of the contractor. The work shall be executed in accordance with the PLG Works Rules, 2017 wherever these rules (PLGA Works Rules, 2017) remain silent; the PPRA Rule will prevail. The lowest contractor who is awarded the contract after completion of codal formalities shall be bound to submit invoices, gate passes, requisite laboratory tests of the items such as tuff tiles, LED lights etc (if involve) before submitting payments for this work before Metropolitan Corporation Rawalpindi. 10. All the prevailing taxes levied in country like PST, Income Tax etc as per prevailing rate will be deducted from the bill of contractor, accordingly. 11. In case of any dispute between Metropolitan Corporation Rawalpindi and the contractor, the decision of Administrator Metropolitan Corporation shall be final. 12. Faculty of Pharmacy and Methods: Stratified random sampling was used, selecting total of 356 patients. Taking frequency of Pharmaceutical Sciences, common cold at 3 colds annually with discount rate at 3% for calculating burden of illness in terms of University of Karachi, Karachi- disability adjusted life years. The budget impact analysis was carried out calculating budget impact per 75270, Pakistan onset and budget impact per year values. Syeda Darakhshan Masroor Results: Annually, the Licorice was found responsible for 57.07 less DALY per 1000 population with a Department of Pharmacognosy, saving of Rs.1.51/- billion (US$ 14.52/- million) than with Triaminic DM.
