Masa ini dapat dijadikan titik tolak inisiasi pembinaan idealisme, menanamkan dan memperkuat rasa cinta tanah air, dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, juga dalam rangka menciptakan generasi yang berkarakter religius, nasionalis, mandiri, gotong royong, memiliki kejujuran, kepedulian, tanggung jawab, dan berintegritas serta memiliki kedisiplinan dalam kehidupan di kampus dan masyarakat. Dengan kata lain melalui PKKMB kita ingin memberikan bekal awal agar mahasiswa kelak akan menjadi alumni perguruan tinggi yang memiliki kedalaman ilmu, keluhuran ahlak, cinta tanah air dan berdaya saing global. PKKMB harus direncanakan secara matang agar dapat dijadikan momentum bagi mahasiswa baru untuk mendapat informasi yang tepat mengenai sistem pendidikan di perguruan tinggi baik bidang akademik maupun non-akademik. PKKMB juga diharapkan dapat menjadi penyadaran akan adanya hal-hal yang dapat menghambat studi mahasiswa baru termasuk bisa menghambat pencapaian tujuan nasional misalnya masalah radikalisme, terorisme, penyalahgunaan narkoba, plagiarisme, korupsi dan lainnya. Selain itu PKKMB juga diharapkan merupakan ajang penyadaran akan pentingnya pemahaman tentang globalisasi dan revolusi industri 4.0 yang menuntut mahasiswa untuk menjadi orang-orang yang menghayati dan memiliki literasi data, literasi teknologi dan literasi kemanusiaan serta kesiapan untuk penguasaan kompetensi yang diperlukan di abad 21. -

Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan kajian sejarah dengan mengambil peran sentral pada aktivitas Mpok Nori terhadap usahanya untuk mengembangkan kesenian Betawi yang dilakukannya melalui tari topeng Betawi, teater lenong, sanggar, layar kaca dan layar perak. Ia berhasil membawa kesenian Betawi bertahan di tengah modernisasi Jakarta yang berkembang cepat dengan seni budaya lain yang berasal dari berbagai daerah. Sanggar yang didirikannya telah menghasilkan anak didik yang berprestasi dalam mengembangkan kesenian Betawi. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa Mpok Nori berhasil membawa kesenian Betawi bertahan di tengah modernisasi Jakarta yang berkembang cepat. Kata kunci: Betawi, kesenian, Mpok Nori Abstract This thesis discusses about Mpok Nori’s role in developing Betawinese art in 1968—1995. The research done is a historical study which takes a central role on Mpok Nori’s activities in trying to develop Betawinese art through Betawi mask dance, lenong theater, atelier, television and cinema. She has succeeded in bringing Betawineses art to survive in the middle modernization which grows fast together with the other cultural arts from various districts in Indonesia. The atelier which was built has produced successful students in evolving Betawinese art. This research proved that Mpok Nori has succeeded to bring Betawinese art keep in the fast-developed Jakarta modernization. (1990). Although this system was proposed as early as 1972 it has been applied irregularly in writings on the arts, but we have chosen to adhere to it so as to reflect a closer relationship to actual Balinese aksara ‘letters of the alphabet, language’. For instance, many words with prefixes frequently spelled pe or peng are spelled here with the prefixes pa and pang. 1 Introduction These historic recordings were made in 1928 as part of a collection of the first and only commercially–released recordings of music made in Bali prior to World War II. This diverse sampling of new and older Balinese styles appeared on 78 rpm discs in 1929 with subsequent releases for international distribution. The records were sold worldwide (or not sold, as it happened) and quickly went out of print. It was a crucial time in the island’s musical history as Bali was in the midst of an artistic revolution with kebyar as the new dominant style of music. -

BAB II BIOGRAFI MARIA WALANDA MARAMIS A. Asal Usul Keluarga Maria Walanda Maramis Maria Josephine Chaterine Maramis atau lebih dikenal dengan nama Maria Walanda Maramis. Merupakan seorang perempuan yang lahir di sebuah kota kecil bernama Kema, yang berada di Kabupaten Minahasa Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, pada tanggal 01 Desember 1872.1 Maria Walanda Maramis merupakan anak bungsu dari tiga bersaudara pasangan Bapak Bernadus Maramis dan Ibu Sarah Rotinsulu. Maria Walanda Maramis memiliki seorang kakak perempuan yang bernama Antje Maramis dan memiliki seoarng kakak laki-laki bernama Andries Alexander Maramis. Keluarga mereka merupakan keluarga sederhana sama seperti keluarga lainnya yang hidup di desa Kema, pesisir Timur Minahasa. Ayah Maria merupakan seorang pedagang yang memanfaatkan hari pasar di pesisir pantai ketika pelabuhan Kema sedang ramai.2 Kema merupakan sebuah desa kecil di pesisir pantai timur Sulawesi Utara. Pada abad ke-19 desa di Minahasa merupakan bagian dari Keresidenan Manado yang merupakan daerah terpencil, orang Belanda menyebutnya buitengewesten (outling districts).3 1 KOWANI, Sejarah Setengah Abad Kesatuan Pergerakan Wanita Indonesia. Namun kebahagiaan itu berubah ketika wabah penyakit kolera menyerang Kota Kema dan sekitarnya. Saat wabah penyakit kolera menyerang Kota Kema, usia Maria Walanda Maramis baru menginjak 6 tahun. Saat itu penanganan kesehatan masih sangat rendah, sehingga wabah penyakit kolera tersebut banyak memakan korban jiwa, termasuk kedua orang tua Maria Walanda yang meninggal karena wabah tersebut.4 Kehidupan Maria Walanda dengan kedua saudaranya pun berubah. -

CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION 1. Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking at Global Level. a. Drug Abuse and its impact to Health. In the year 2013 the estimated number of drug taking people is 246 million (5.2% of the world population between 15 – 64 years), or 1 out of 20 from this age group has consumed drugs. There was an increase of 3 million drug abusers, but tends to be stable. It is estimated that 1 among 10 of them is a problematic drug abuser; or in other words, 27 million (0.6% of of the world population in the age group 15-64 years) are drug abusers with problems. So half the number of this group (12.19 million) are injection drug users (IDU), and the estimation is that 165 million have HIV. The mortality rate related to drug abuse (approx 187,100) is stable compared to the previous year. The abuse of opiates (heroin and opium) remains stable, while cannabis and medical opioids continue to escalate. Consumption of ATS, especially Methamphetamine occurs mainly in South-East Asia. Cannabis is frequently consumed in prisons, and the number ofheroin users among the inmates is higher than cocaine, amphetamines or “ecstasy”. NPS are sold as an alternative of drugs that have similar effects as international controlled substances.NPS have increased to 500 including mephedrone. Consumption of cannabis, cocaine and amphetamines among males is higher than amongfemales. However, the prevalence rate of HIV among female injection drug users has a higher rate. The number of new HIV cases among injection drug users has a decrease of 10%, from approx 110,000 in 2010 to 98,000 in 2013. -

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INDONESIAN CULTURE DIPLOMACY TOWARD AUSTRALIA THROUGH INDOFEST PERIOD 2012-2016 (CASE STUDY: ADELAIDE AND CANBERRA) Ulyantraja Kelamor International Relations, Universitas Kristen Indonesia, Jakarta [email protected] Abstract This journal discusses IndoFest activities which are conducted by Indonesia to Australia in 2012 to 2016 in Adelaide and Canberra. IndoFest was born in 2008, aims to introduce Indonesian culture in the international world. With the presence of IndoFest, it is also seen that cultural diplomacy continues to be done by Indonesia not only for improving good relations in both countries but also to introduce Indonesian art, culture, and exceptional food for more to the Australian people, in order to visit Indonesia. This journal also discusses Indonesia's cultural diplomacy towards Australia through IndoFest, as well as various activities in IndoFest to attract Australian tourists to come to Indonesia. As the research method, the qualitative method is used in this journal by library study, which is collecting the data from the literature related to the issue discussed. The results of the study stated that Indonesia successfully carried out its cultural diplomacy to Australia through IndoFest.
