COLLECTIONS 15 NOVEMBER First: $189.45 Second: $204.50 Thank you for your continued support NOTICES ROSARY ADORATION A group of parishioners are praying the Rosary, in our Adoration First Saturdays – 5 Dec - Adoration at own homes, at 11am every day. 8:30am followed by Mass at 9am in the Chapel. “Those who are not saved by the justice of God, are saved by “God is as really present in the consecrated host as He the intercession of Mary” ~ St John Chrysostom is in the glory of Heaven.” ~ St Paschal Baylon NOVEMBER – HOLY SOULS Parishioners are encouraged to offer a Mass for Holy Souls using the November Masses envelopes at the church entrance. Throughout November the Church prays for all who are in purgatory, waiting for the day when they will join the company of the saints in heaven. The celebration of Mass is the highest means the Church can provide for charity for the dead, but we can also relieve their sufferings through our prayers, sufferings and penances. COUNTRY MASS Sunday 29th November, Mass will be celebrated at St Pauls Talbingo at 8am. ADVENT PROGRAM There will be TWO Advent prayer and reflection programs running in the parish throughout the season of Advent. Please note the change of day and time as previously published. All welcome to attend. Fridays 5:30PM 4th, 11th, 18th & Wednesday 23rd Dec in the Parish House – How to become more human ourselves by understanding the Incarnation and the Passion, with Fr Namora Fridays 11AM, 27th November, 4th, 11th, 18th December in the Rosalie Rendu Centre, with Patricia Mangelsdorf PRAYER TO ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL At the cessation of Mass, we will pray together the prayer to St Michael the Archangel: St Michael the Archangel, defend us in the hour of battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou oh Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast in to Hell, Satan, and all the other evil spirits who roam through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen NO WEEKDAY MASSES – PRIESTS RETREAT Frs George and Namora will be away on their annual retreat next week 23-27th November. There will be no weekday Masses. We pray for Frs George and Namora that their retreat will be inspiring and give them some respite. CHURCH LINEN – VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED The parish is seeking anyone who is willing to help with church linen. The task only requires them to launder the Corporal’s, Purificators, and finger towels. Please see Anne Huebner if you are able to assist. KNIGHTS OF THE SOUTHERN CROSS The next meeting of the Knights of the Southern Cross will be in Tumut Sunday 29th November after 10am Mass. [email protected] St. Paschal Baylon, was a simple lay brother of the Franciscan Order, and, by preference, occupied himself with the roughest and most servile tasks.
