Wellesley College Transportation and Directions
Wellesley College lies between Washington Street and Central Street, just west of the center of the town of Wellesley. The College’s address is: 106 Central St., Wellesley, MA, 02481, at the intersection of Route 16 and Route 135.
Inauguration parking will be available in the Davis Parking Facility (first right after the main entrance). On Friday, September 30, parking will also be available in the Science Center Meadow (0.5 miles from the College entrance), and bus shuttles and golf carts will be circulating around campus.

Wellesley College transportation information and campus maps ARRIVING BY PLANE
Take a taxi directly to Wellesley College. See “taxis” on Wellesley College’s transportation web site. Allow at least one hour for the trip to campus from Logan Airport (more at rush hour). The fare will be approximately $60-$65 (subject to change) plus tolls and gratuity. or
Take the Logan Express bus, which picks up at all airline terminals, to Framingham. Allow at least an hour for the commute. Call 1.800.23.LOGAN for more information, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
From Framingham, take a taxi to the College. Local taxi companies include Wellesley Transportation (781.235.2200) and Veterans Taxi (781.235.8294 / 617.969.8294). Allow half an hour for the ride to Wellesley. The fare will be approximately $16.
If staying at one of the Natick hotels, complimentary shuttles are available from the Framingham Logan Express terminal to the Hampton Inn/Natick and the Courtyard by Marriott, and can be requested between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. For the Hampton Inn, call 1.508.653.5000; for the Courtyard by Marriott, call 1.508.655.6100.
Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor service stops at the Route 128/Westwood-Dedham station. It is a 25 minute taxi drive to the College. Please arrange to have the taxi meet your train, as there are no station services at this location. From Albany
Amtrak’s Lake Shore Limited service stops at Framingham station once a day. From there, the Framingham/Worcester Line of the MBTA Commuter Rail has trains to Wellesley Square hourly. The fare is $3.50. Tickets can be purchased via the MBTA app or on the train ($3 surcharge). For directions from Wellesley Square station to campus, see below.
ARRIVING BY COMMUTER RAIL
From the Amtrak terminal at South Station, take the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail to the Wellesley Square stop. The commute is approximately half an hour. One-way fare is $7.50. You should buy the ticket in South Station or via the MBTA app, as there is $3 surcharge for purchasing tickets on the train. Exact change is not required, but paying on the train is cash only. Go up the stairs and turn left onto Crest Road; follow Crest a short distance. Take a right onto Central Street. Walk five minutes to the second set of lights. Cross the street to the entrance of the College. From there, allow twenty minutes to walk to your destination on campus.
Note: The Commuter Rail schedule can be accessed by calling 1.800.392.6100 or visiting the . Please call check the schedule in advance, as it varies on weekends and holidays. You may also take the Commuter Rail to Wellesley from Back Bay Station.
If you prefer, call a taxi from the Wellesley Square Commuter Rail stop. Fare to the College will be approximately $4.00.
ARRIVING BY SUBWAY
From South Station, take the MBTA Subway (Red Line) inbound two stops to Park Street. Go upstairs and change to the Green Line. Ride an Outbound subway marked “RIVERSIDE D” to Woodland, the second to last stop on the D Line. Fare is $2.75). Please arrange to have the taxi meet your train, as bus options are limited at this location. ARRIVING BY CAR – VIA ROUTE 9 OR ROUTE 30
From the West
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 13 (Natick/Framingham/Route 30). Take Route 30 East 0.2 miles to the first set of lights. Turn right onto Speen Street and proceed 1.8 miles to the intersection with Route 135. Turn left onto Route 135 East and drive 3.6 miles to a traffic light, which will be at the main entrance of the College. Take a right onto College Road.
From the East
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) West to Exit 15 (Weston/I-95/Route 128). Travel south 2 miles on I-95/ Route 128 to Exit 20B (Framingham/Worcester/ Route 9 West). Drive west on Route 9 for 3.9 miles. Turn right at the green Weston Road/Weston sign. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Weston Road. Drive 1 mile to the traffic light at the intersection of Route 135. Turn right onto 135 West and drive one-half mile to the first traffic light, which will be at the main entrance of the College (College Road). Turn left onto College Road.
From the North or South
Take I-95/Route 128 to Exit 20B (Framingham/Worcester/Route 9 West). Follow directions above from Route 9 East. From Logan Airport
Logan International is the nearest airport. Take the Ted Williams Tunnel from the airport to the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90); follow directions from the east (above).
ARRIVING BY CAR – VIA ROUTE 16
From the West
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 14 (Weston). Take Interstate 95/Route 128 South for 1/2 mile to Exit 21B (Route 16). Follow Route 16 West for 2.9 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College.
From the East
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) to Exit 16 (West Newton). Follow Route 16 West for 4.7 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College.
From the North or South
Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) to Exit 21B (Route 16 West). Follow Route 16 West for 2.9 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College.
