Pray for BIBLE TRANSLATION There are about 1,721 spoken languages in India, of which only about 1,000 languages have scripts.  Full Bible is available only in 74 Indian languages.  85 languages have only New Testament.  A few portions of the Bible are translated in 58 languages.  Bible translations are in progress in about 400 languages, it is learnt. Pray:  that Bible is translated soon in all languages so that everyone can read Bible in their own mother tongue.  for more people to get involved in Bible translation and God to give special wisdom and language skill to them.  for the needed resources to be available for translation work.  for everyone who have the Bible in their mother tongue to read it with care.

Pray for the SOCIAL EVILS in India  prevention of terrorist attacks in various parts of the nation. The dominance of Naxalites and Maoists to be removed.  28.7% of school students are drug addicts. They use banned tobacco products, ganja, brown sugar, etc. They should be freed from this evil habit.  about 28 lakh Indians suffer from TB. Many of them are not able to take proper treatment because of low income. Pray for the healing of these patients.  about 25 lakh Indians are cancer patients. Every year about 7 lakh patients are added. About 5,56,000 die every year. Pray for the complete destruction of these germs and people to receive complete healing. Social Evils  Crime against aged: Two-third of the 10 aged people in India are abandoned by their families. Pray for the happiness and safety of these elders who suffer from loneliness, sickness etc.  Suicides: About 34% of suicides happen due to family problems and 17% suicides are due to ill-health. Pray for the counselling centres to counsel such people so that suicides are completely prevented.  more than 7,000 farmers in Maharastra, Telungana, , Madhya and Tamilnadu have committed suicide during the last two years. 38% of them are due to debts. Pray for the change of this situation.  Crime against children:   There are about 10.5 crore child labourers, many of them are bonded labourers.   UNICEF reports that out of the number of child marriages taking place in the world one-third happen in India.   About 30 lakh Indian girls of 10 - 14 years do not attend school. Pray for the bright future and safety of these children.  Crime against women:   3,14,674 women went missing in India in 2016.  7,634 women died in 2015 due to dowry harassment.   One women is raped every 34 minutes, one woman is attacked every 3 minutes by husband or relatives. The women are to be respected and protected.

 Accidents:   26,066 persons have died in train accidents and 4,82,389 in road accidents during 2015. Of them 15,633 were children.   This kind of deaths are to be prevented and drivers to drive their vehicles carefully.  Prostitution:   It is reported that 20 lakh women and 5 lakh girls are active in prostitution.   More than 20,000 women are active in the red-light areas of Kolkatta.   Girls from Bangladesh, Nepal, etc. are trafficked for this.   Its saddening that 76% of brokers in this flesh trade are women.  Pray the Government should severely punish those involved in this activity and for the repentance of them.  Religious Extremism:   There is a trend to impose religions extremism in the educational curriculum of this secular nation.   The aggressive activities of these in the Government against Indian sovereignty is to be curtailed.   educational curriculum is to be developed by secular educationalists.   the anti-conversion act in Uttarakand, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Odisha, , Arunachal Pradesh, Himchal Pradesh and Jharkhand be repealed.  Terrorism:   927 terrorist attacks occured in 2016.   For the prevention of riots, loss of life and damage to propertics.   In India more than 66 terrorists groups are active. The activities of them are to be controlled fully. Pray for PROSPERITY of India  that all the welfare projects announced by the Government in the areas of education, health, medical fields, drinking water, etc., to reach all villages.  there are about 8 crore school drop outs in the elementary education. This situation should change.  preventing all murders in the name of cow protection.  Government to take all efforts to bring back all black money from foreign countries.  health hazards increase as 33% of the population do not have toilets. Government to provide facilities in the needed areas.  diseases have spread due to the sale of time barred medicines and medicines of inferior quality. For the protection of the people suffering from TB, diabetics, cancer, etc.  agriculture is affected due to the destruction of forests and non-silting of water bodies. Agricultural wealth of the nation should not be affected.  Indian Labour Organisation (ILO) has reported that in 2019 as many as 1.9 crore people will be unemployed. Job opportunities are to be created for all people.  for the peace in Kashmir and leaders to handle the problem with wisdom.  right and just decisions are to be taken in Cauvery River Water issue.  Nation to prosper with good monsoon all over.  all attacks against Christians to cease and their safety to be ensured.  all efforts to develop solar cities to be successful.  “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” - this situation is to change. Puram (D2) and Anna Nagar, (K4) Police stations are adjudged as the best and second best Police stations respectively in India.  Tuticorin port is the first port in India to receive ISO 9002 certificate.  growth in the number of believers and Churches among Badaga people.  Assembly of God Church in India was started in 1974 and today it has grown to more than 1,000 Churches.  many from Tamilnadu are involved in evangelistic work both in other states and other countries.  the number of smokers have reduced by 9%. Pray  49,329 small and medium industries have been closed during 2017-18. Pray for the Government to take special initiatives to revive the industry.  it is reported that there are more than 30,000 fake doctors in the state. Pray that the fakes are completely eliminated from life saving medical field.  Tamilnadu ranks first in the prevalence of road accidents (69,059). Pray for avoidance of accidents.  murder, violence, prostitution, etc., due to addiction to liquor to be controlled. Population : 4.93 crore Districts : 13 Villages : 17,362 Christians : 2.4% Praise  best state in software technology.  the functioning of BHEL, IDPL, HAL, BDL, BHPU, ECIL, SCCL and Vizag Steel in this state.  for the tribals Banjara, Koya, Chenchu, Yerukula, Enadhi who show keen interest for the Gospel.  many who accept Christ inspite of opposition.  for the work of CSI, Lutheren and Pentecostal Churches in this state. Pray  Andhra is one of the states where prevalance of AIDS is very common. Pray for the healing and salvation of AIDS patients.  the pilgrims to the holy places in the state to come to know the love of Christ and to accept Him.  79% of the children are anemic and pray for their healing.  for the rekindling of the revival of the 19th century.  many districts are affected by naxalism. This situation is to change.  74% of the tribals and 61% of the dalits do not continue their school education. This illiteracy affecting development is to be eradicated.  attacks on women, sexual abuses, kidnaps, deaths due to dowry, etc., are common here. This situation should change completely.  unreached people groups and hill tribes are to be reached with Gospel. Dedicated Gospel workers to come forward for the purpose. 3. TELANGANA Population : 3.52 crore Districts : 10 Villages : 28,123 Christians : 1.4% Praise  implementation of 24 hour of free electricity for farming.  implementation of the facility to purchase rations from any of the 17,000 ration shops in Telangana.  the ministries of Anglican, Baptist, Lutheren and Salvation Army since 1810.  the growth of vision for missionary work in Churches.  first in the nation to implement Pension Scheme for unmarried women. Pray  50% of the women marry before reaching legally permitted age for marriage. Pray that this situation should change.  efforts are to be taken in the districts of Adilabad, Mahabub Nagar and Warangal where Christian population is very less.  for the salvation of Banjara, Koya, Chenchu, Mala and Madhika tribes.  for consistent monsoon rainfall in this state as agriculture is the main occupation.  Government machinery to function effectively in this newly formed state.  for the control of the activities of Naxalites and Maoists and also for their salvation.  burdened evangelists to come up to preach the Gospel. 4. KARNATAKA Population : 6.11 crore Districts : 30 Villages : 29,483 Christians : 2% Praise  God has blessed this state with mineral and forest wealth.  the progress made in computer and information technology.  for the industries like BHEL, HAL, etc. functioning in this state.  the ministry done by missionary organisations like FMPB, IEM, BYM, ABCF, etc.  the contribution of this state in the production of artificial silks and coffee. Pray  for the removal of opposition to Church growth by the religious extremists.  Gospel workers burdened for souls to come forward to proclaim Gospel to 79 people groups.  children to be protected from sexual abuse and trafficking.  Dalits and Telugu speaking people who are interested in the Gospel to be reached.  the quickening of the ministry in the districts of Bijapur, Bangalkot and Haveri where Gospel preaching is very less.  abolition of Devadasi System in which young girls are dedicated to temples and worship of humans.  Government to take special care of the socially backward northern districts.  River water disputes with neighbouring states to be settled amicably. 5. Praise  Government owing up to meet the full cost of education of the 387 fisher folk children who were affected by Okhi cyclone.  the state has completely abolished manual scavenging.  literacy rate is very high in the state (95%)  for this state is socially progressive and least corrupted.  the state produces 90% of rubber in the country.  the Syrian, CSI, Marthoma and Pentecostal Churches in the state. They are autonomous and functioning with missionary zeal.  the introduction of Community Radio Services for farmers by the Government. Pray  the release and bright future of about 58,000 children employed in sand quarries and handloom services.  the impact Gospel has to make among Mappila community and unreached people of North Kerala.  the liburation of people enslaved by liquor addiction, witchcraft, sorcery and guru (human) worship.  about 5 crore people who visit Sabarimalai every year are to receive salvation through Christ.  high caste people like Namboodries, Nairs, 68 Dalit people groups and 38 Adivasi groups to be met by strategically planned evangeliztion.  no Christian workers are present in 40% of Pincode areas. This situation is to change.  the message of salvation to reach quickly the people living in the districts Malappuram, Palakkad and where Christian population is very less. 6. MADHYA PRADESH Population : 7.26 crore Districts : 50 Villages : 54,903 Christians : 2.2% the home Churches that function in this state.  the state has been blessed with iron and manganese, ores, coal and limestone.  the ministry done among Gonds by more than 30 organisations has resulted in the growth of numerous Churches.  the ministry done in more than 300 slum areas in Boware town.  for the organisations like IEM, FMPB, ICGM and ECI who are involved in preaching Gospel. Pray  the state stands first in sexual crimes (7,396) against girls - for the protection of girls and women.  Anti-conversion Act of the state to be repealed.  Churches to be planted among the Adhivasi tribes of Gond, Bhil, Oraon and Korku.  Burdened workers with concern for Muslims to rise up.  all attacks against Christians especially Dalits to be stopped.  all attempts to reconvert the Christians to be foiled.  this state which is backward in economy and industry is to be developed.  all child marriages are to be banned.  for the health of 50% of the children affected by malnutrition. 7. ODISHA Population : 4.2 crore Districts : 30 Villages : 51,352 Christians : 2.4% Praise  God has blessed the state with mineral wealth.  for the CNI, Baptist, Methodist, Independent and Pentecostal Churches which are involved in ministry.  the tribals of Gond, Kharia, Oraon, Munda, Binjha, Saora and Kisan who are receptive to Gospel.  Gospel is proclaimed to all through light and sound programmes.  all villages in the state have schools.  organisations like FMPB, IEM, IET, BYM and GFA are doing missionary work in exemplary way. Pray  in some area 80% of women are illeterate and this situation should improve.  more than 50% of the children are affected by malnutrition. This situation should change.  the banned ganja is grown in a large scale. Government should take stringent action against the growers.  special efforts are to be taken to evangelize the districts of Nayagarh, Bhadrak, and Dhenkanal where Christian population is very small.  dominance of religions fanatics and extremism of Maoists to be curtailed.  Anti-conversion Act of the state to be repealed.  Government should concentrate on meeting the important needs of the people - viz., education, health, etc.  persecutions to lead to the revival of the Churches, to sharpen the vision and to multiply new believers.  the salvation of the unreached Brahmins and Khorane tribes. 8. CHHATTISGARH Population : 2.55 crore Districts : 18 Villages : 20,126 Christians : 2.5% Praise  150 years ago, foreign missionaries established Churches, schools and hospitals.  God has blessed the state with forest and mineral wealth.  90% of the villages are electrified.  as a result of nationwide thrust to plant Churches, the number of Churches have increased; Bible schools have been started and many take part in missionary activities.  for the ministry done among Gonds, Bhils, Karvars, Oraons and Baigas. Pray  Anti-conversion Act of the state to be repealed.  the ten districts affected by the revolt of Maoists, for safety of the people and salvation of Maoists.  Bible is to be translated into Chhattisgarhi and Badri.  Ministry to be seriously done in the districts of Kabirdham, Raj Nandgaon, and Dharmatari where the people known about Christ are very less.  for the upliftment of the industrially backward state.  prevalance of the system of polygamy and child marriage to be stopped.  in the district of Bastar, about 2 lakh students of 6 - 14 years have dropped out of school. Government should take up suitable action.  Government to undertake special drive to eradicate poverty and provide adequate toilets. 9. Population : 11.4 crore Districts : 35 Villages : 43,662 Christians : 1.09% Praise  exemplary evangelism done by organisations like MVM, IEM, GFFA and Love Maharashtra and CSI, Baptist and Pentecostal Churches.  the warm reception for Gospel from Kolam and Kokna tribes.  for the growth of industries in the state.  many have come to Christ through the distribution of Bibles by New Life Friendship ministry, .

Pray  about 70,000 young people are engaged in prostitution in Feroze Road and Kamathipura areas in Mumbai. 20% of them are in the age group 12-18 years. Prostitution to be eradicated completely.  about 10,000 children prostitutes are in . Government to take serious steps to stop this practice.  6,606 cases of crimes against chidren have been filed. Government to regularize laws for them.  state has the highest incidents of suicides which are to be averted. Counseling for mental stress, depression, etc. be provided and suicide totally controlled.  laws against untouchability are to be enforced.  Churches to be planted among people who do not know the love of Christ.  for the bright future of about 7.6 lakh child labourers.  evangelisation is to be intensified in the districts of Osamanabad, Hingoli and . 10. GUJARAT Population : 6.04 crore Districts : 26 Villages : 18,225 Christians : 0.6% Praise  the state leads in the production of milk and milk products.  the state manufactuting more amount of raw materials needed for textile industry.  for Presbyterian, CNI, Methodist, Salvation Army, Independent Churches and Swarthik Mission Organisations who function in this state effectively.  for Bhil, Kukra, Gamit, Choudri, Dhodia, Koli, Garosia people have accepted the Gospel. Pray  people are affected by religions riots and violence and that this situation be changed.  spreading incorrect reports about Christianity and the attacks on Christianity be stopped.  Anti-conversion Act be repealed.  salvation of Brahmins, Tribals and Dalits.  Government to take steps for the welfare of 4,50,000 child labourers in the state.  highest rate of sexual abuse against female children is recorded in the state (63%). Pray for the protection of female children.  the people attached to Moksha Margi, Peer and Sivasena who are involved in reconverting the tribal people, to taste the love of Christ.  for the assistance to the family affected by heavy rain and landslide.  for the people of the state to be reached by Gospel. 11. Population : 9.13 crore Districts : 19 Villages : 40,203 Christians : 0.6 % Praise  this state leads in creating job opportunities.  Government has implemented a scheme to grant Rs. 25,000 to poor women to celebrate their marriage.  the interest being shown by Munda, Santal and Oraon people group to Gospel of Christ.  for the ministry being done through Reach Bengal Movement.  for the ministries being carried out by AG, Lutheran, Salvation Army, Baptist, Methodist and other Churches in this state. Pray  50,000 youths are involved in adultery in Kolkatta. Pray that this situation be changed.  protest to bifurcate from West Bengal and form a separate state by name ‘Gurkha Land’ to be stopped and proper solution to be arrived by peace talks.  people affected by heavy rain and landslide to got proper aid, also for the protection of people.  the state stands undeveloped due to unstable political situations, substandard medicines, corruption and violence. Pray that this state experinces development in all areas.  deaths due hungry among tea estate labours are increasing. Pray for this situation to change.  efforts taken through a project , “Mission Kolkatta 2000” to reach Kolkatta with the Gospel to bear fruit.  Missionaries to come forward to reach Bhojpuri, Gujarathi, Oriya, Punjabi and Marwari people group with Gospel of Jesus Christ.  efforts be taken to reach in Purba, Bankura, Hugli and Medinipur districts which are least evangelized state. 12. PUNJAB Population : 2.77 crore Districts : 20 Villages : 12,581 Christians : 1.8 % Praise  the interest shown by Jatt and Mazhabi people to the Gospel.  for CNI, Salvation Army, Pentecostal and other 65 denominations of Churches which are functioning in this state.  for this state which is grown financially.  Swarthick missionary movements are planting Churches.  for the testimony and ministry of world renowned Ludhiana Christian Medical College Hospital.  for the gifts of this state viz., Sadhu Sundarsingh and Bhakat Singh to the Christian world. Pray  Gospel to spread rapidly in Mansa, Sangrur and Barnala districts where the population of Christians is very low.  deliverance of youths from addiction to drugs.  the Lord to reveal His love to the lakhs of pilgrims coming to this state.  that Churches among (61%) of Jatts and Sikhs.  that people be freed from guru worship of Radhaswamy, Nirankari, Satcha Chouda and accept the sacrificial love of Christ.  Mission work being done by Baptist Church among slum dwellers and for IET which is involved in Church planting to bear fruits.  for the salvation of people belonging to other faith and Christians to lead a life with good testimony. 13. BIHAR Population : 10.38 crore Districts : 38 Villages : 44,874 Christians : 0.3 % Praise  for the missionaries who came to this state which is called the ‘tomb of missionaries’ and laid down their lives for the sake of Gospel.  for the efforts taken by GEMS, FMPB, IMS, IBT organisations for spreading of Gospel.  for the Government has prohibited liquor in this state.  for the efforts taken together by Bihar outreach Network and other Churches and Organisations. Pray  5,701 cases have been registered for crimes against scheduled caste people in 2016. Pray that these crimes to be avoided.  extreme level of corruption in this state has brought this state financially to a lower level. Pray for the growth of this state financially.  every year the death rate is increasing due to cholera, malaria, typhoid and jaundice. Infant deaths and deaths at the time of confinement have also increased in this state. Pray that this situation be changed.  pray for the peace in this state which is affected by communal riots, Mafia groups and Naxalites.  salvation of people living in this state.  the cases of kidnapping of woman and small children are on the higher side. Pray that this crime be totally controlled.  Bible to be translated in Bhojpuri, Mahai, Mythili and other tribal languages.  more than 50% of children are affected due to malnutrition. Pray  eradication of povery, illiteracy and unemployment.  cessation of illegal activities of Maoists and People War Group (PWG).  amicable settlement of naxalite problems.  Dalits and Adivasis to be freed from the clutches of rich land lords.  the bright future of about 5 lakh children below 18 years who are daily wagers, domestic servants and rag pickers.  Bible is to be translated in the languages of Adivasis.  the salvation of the entire population of the state.  Churches and Missionary organisations to plan for the expansion of ministry in the districts Kodarma, Paladu, Palamu and Deoghar where Christian population is very less.

The people of the state to come to the knowledge of way to eternal life and accept Christ.  the ministries done by UESI and IFES among university and college students to bear fruit. 16. UTTARAKHAND Population : 1.01 crore Districts : 13 Villages : 16,973 Christians : 2% Praise  the CNI, spiritually active Churches and Missionary organisations ministering in the state.  the interest of Chamars and Garhwalis in Gospel.  God has blessed this state with water resources and forest wealth. Pray  the number of suicides are increasing every year. Government to take effective steps to prevent suicides.  70% of the villages do not have medical and educational facilities. Government to take special care.  90% of the boys are addicted to tobacco and 70% to ganja. This addiction to be eradicated from boys.  evangelistic activities are to be expedited with the districts of Rudraprayag, Tehri, Garhwal and Uttarkashi where Christian population is very less.  Christ is to be revealed to millions of pilgrims to the holy places.  the activities of the religious extremists to be controlled.  Gospel to be preached among the entire population. 17. HARYANA Population : 2.54 crore Districts : 21 Villages : 6,861 Christians : 0.3 % Praise  ranked first in tractor manufacturing and milk production.  first state in India in the electrification of all villages.  Gospel work done among Jatts, Samars and Sikhs.  for FMPB and IIM working among 80 lakh Jatts and 30,80,000 Dalits and IIM working among Sikhs. Pray  infanticide and honour killing to be reduced and the love towards human beings encouraged.  worshippers in morethan 2,000 temples of the state to come to know the sacrificial love of Christ.  Bible is to be translated in all the languages spoken in the state.  Christian workers to come forward to preach Gospel  Christian population is sparse in the districts Mahendragarh, Bhivani and Jind. HIMACHAL PRADESH Population : 6.86 crore Districts : 12 Villages : 20,690 Christians : 0.1% Praise  the state excels in the educational filed.  99.8% of the children under the age of 14 are enrolled in schools.  the state is foremost in the cultivation of mushroom, fruits and vegetables. Asia’s largest Fruit Processing Factory is located here.  the ministry done by Himachal Outreach Network and Gospel for Asia.  the ministry done by CNI, Methodist, Baptist and other spiritual congregations.  Bible is being translated in Pahari language. Pray  Gospel to be presented to more than one lakh Tibetian refugees.  for the school children addicted to drugs.  Bible is to be translated into Kuluis, Kanauras, Gaddis and Lahaulas languages.  preaching of Gospel is to be quickened in the districts of Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Mandi where people knowing Christ is very less.  committed workers to come forward to minister among Jatts, Rajputs, Gujjars, Kolis, Samars, Baharis and Muslims.  those belonging to Guru Worship Movements, Renaissance Movements and Sangh Parivars should come to know the sacrifice of Christ.  impassive Churches to be quickened and involved in soul winning.  the state is prone to higher accident rate. For the protection of Dalits.  Anti-conversion Act of the state to be repealed.  soul thirsty workers to raise up to work among Rajputs, Jatts and Marwaris who are not interested in Gospel.  child marriages are celebrated in large numbers. 85% of the girls are married off before attaining the age of marriage. Population : 1.68 crore Districts : 9 Villages : 410 Christians : 1.8% Praise  the missionary organisations like TWR, TEAM, IEM, etc who are toiling hard for the proclamation of Gospel.  Churches are being planted among the refugees from Tibet, Iran and Afghanistan.  the ministries done through Pentecostal, CNI, ECI, Methodist, Baptist and DBF Churches.  14.5 lakh people working in large Factories, Research centre and Cottage industries. Pray  40 lakh migrants in the last 10 years seeking employment.  it is said that prostitutions in large scale are taking place in G.P. Road, Lakshmi Nagar and Sharmanand Road. ARUNACHAL PRADESH Population : 13.83 lakh Districts : 16 Villages : 5,589 Christians : 25% Praise  pioneering ministry done by the Indian Missionaries from Nagaland and North East India.  the growth of independent Churches; the Churches coming up among Adi, Nyishi, Tangsa, Apatani and Nocte tribes.  the Gospel broadcast in Adi language to bear fruit.  efforts taken by the Government to increase literacy rate to bear fruit.  the interest manifested by the tribes Deori, Chakma and Hajong to Gospel.  the state has progressed as a state without open air defacation. Pray  the religious freedom in the is to be ensured for the Christians of the state.  for the salvation of Budhists and the tribes of Miri, Sulung, Tangam, Mishmi, Wancho, Deori, Changma and Hajong.  Anti-conversion Act of the state to be repealed.  trafficking of children for sex is to be stopped completely.  for the upliftment of the 35% of people living below poverty line.  special ministries to be done in the districts of Anjaw, Tawang and Dibang where the Christian pressure is sparse.  Bible translation to be speeded up in all languages of the state. 22. JAMMU & KASHMIR Population : 1.25 crore Districts : 22 Villages : 6,553 Christians : 0.3% Praise  the keen interest shown of Suras for Gospel.  Government is earning good income in production of fruits (about 1,500 crore rupees per year).  inspite of dangerous and alarming situations missionaries are continuing Gospel work.  for the Gospel is being preached among Tibetian Buddhists.  for the ministries of Kashmir Gospel Friendship Evangelism and Indian Evangelical Team. hundreds of villages are not yet electrified. Those villages are to be electrified soon.  the ever increasing riots, loss of life and property are to be prevented.  the activities of the organisation who has given the threat “Violent attacks will continue in the state” to be controlled by the Government. People to reject such organisations.  people visiting pilgrim sites to come to know the sacrificial love of Jesus.  the attacks and threats to the journalists and social activist are to be avoided and also for their protection.  economic development is affected by religions disputes and border conflicts. This situation should change.  Christian population is very less in the districts Doda, Kulgam, Anantnag. Missionary organisations to take special care of these districts.  extremists to seek “Peace in Jesus”.  Jesus Film telecasted in Kashmir language to bear good result.  Burdened workers to come up to work among high caste Kashmir Brahmins. 23. ASSAM Population : 3.12 crore Districts : 27 Villages : 26,395 Christians : 3.7% Praise  Namasudra, Bolo, Karbi, Chutia, Kachari, Moran and Ahom people who are receiptive to Gospel.  the state is blessed with natural gas and forest wealth.  the world’s largest tea production centre is situated here.  Baptist, Lutheran, Presbytarian have established many Churches among Mizo, Bhavi, Mikir and Kero tribes.  for the Gospel work done among the hill tribes Boro, Miri, Munda and Kacholi. Pray  the state is foremost in crimes against women. Women are trafficked into prostitution. Government should take appropriate steps against this menace.  the people of the state are to be protected from natural calamitites.  riots between Adivasis and illegal infiltrators from Bangladesh are to be prevented.  forcible reconversion of tribals Christians should be stopped.  for the salvation of high caste Brahmins, Kayastha, Kaita, Goch, Keot, Ganaka, Kuibartha, Kumara Hari, etc.  Christians are ostracized and their numbers are dwindling. The number of believers should increase.  people are to be liberated from the addiction of tobacco, ganja, etc.  families affected by landslides due to heavy rains are to be helped back to normalcy.  Christians are very few in Nalbari, Barpetta and Morigaon districts. Churches and Organisations should expedite the ministry in these districts. 24. MEGHALAYA Population : 26.67 lakh Districts : 7 Villages : 6,023 Christians : 70.25% Praise  Garo and Adivasis are interested in Gospel.  the revivals in the Churches here and there in the recent days.  83% of people are involved in farming and paddy, cane, cotton and fruits are produced.  many are coming forward to accept Christ as their saviour due to the ministry of many evangelistic organisations. Pray  unauthorized mines which pollute the rivers are to be controlled.  youth addicted to drugs are to repent.  the development of this industrially backward state.  burdened Christian workers to meet the Hajongs, Raba Kotchs and Mihir tribes with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  salvation of Marathas, Marwaris, Tribals and Dalits.  the Lord to reveal Himself to the opposers of Gospel and extremists. 25. Population : 6.11 lakh Districts : 4 Villages : 452 Christians : 6.7% Praise  Lepchas are interested in the Gospel. They are to follow Christ.  the ministries done by CNI, Bakht Singh Fellowship, Pentecostal and Indigenous Missionaries.  the population of Christians are increasing because of the efforts of Western Missioanries in 1980’s.  the improvement in health due to the absence of open air defacation. Pray  God to protect the state from natural calamities such as floods, landslide etc.  the Budhists living in nothern areas to be reached with Gospel.  the believers to increase in number among Bhutias and Tibetians.  Gospel to be taken into nearby, but inaccessible Bhutan and Tibet.  many were touched by ‘Jesus film’, released in 1999.  for the salvation of Lamas living in more than 200 monastries of the state.  people of the state with superstitious like spirit worship, traditions, etc. to repent and accept Christ.  frequent clashes and riots between Lepcha, Bhutias and Nepalis be averted and the people live in peace.

26. TRIPURA Population : 36.71 lakh Districts : 8 Villages : 1,858 Christians : 3.2% Praise  God has blessed this state with 54.5% forest cover.  the tribals interested in the Gospel of Christ.  for the increase in number of Baptist Churches and the active ministry they do among people.  the reception to Gospel shown by Chakma Budhists. Pray  63.8% of the boys are drug addicts. They are to forsake this habit and repent.  child trafficking in this state which is at the border of Bangladesh has increased. The Government to control this.  Churches to increase evangelistic activities in the West and South Tripura districts where Christian population is sparse.  Churches to be planted among Bengalis and refugees.  Pakistani ISI terrorists camps operating in the border with Bangladesh are to be destroyed.  frequent religious disturbances and violence among people to be controlled and people live in peace.  Christians to maintain their witness in the midst of communal violence. 27. MANIPUR Population : 25.7 lakhs Districts : 9 Villages : 2,391 Christians : 34% Praise  for the Meithe people who are open to the Gospel  for the Churches which are functioning among the tribals like Kukki, Rongmei, Hmar, Paite and Kabui.  for the state being one of the largest producer of silk.  for the cross-cultural missionaries who have gone out of the state to preach the Gospel. Pray  the peace of the state is affected by frequent clashes between Kukki and Nagas and Meithei and Muslims. Pray for peace to prevail in this state.  most of the people are addicted to drunkenness, drugs, prostitution and other sinful activities. Pray that God delivers them.  about 60,000 people were addicted to drugs and 40,000 people were affected by HIV. Pray for their deliverance.  Christians presence is very low in the following districts of Thoubal, Bishnupur and Imphal. Pray that mission organisations reach these places with the salvation message.  that people of the state are reached with the Gospel and Churches established among them. 28. MIZORAM Population : 10.97 lakh Districts : 8 Villages : 817 Christians : 87% Praise  literacy rate is on the higher side (91.58%).  for the Baptist and Presbyterian Churches funtioning in the state in many areas.  for the mission organisations and Churches coming up.  the awareness in the state and the revival in the Churches have started to cause a change in the society. Pray  the state which is trailing behind in industrial development to experience a change for better.  Gospel to be shared to all in the state including the refugees from Bangladesh.  for the deliverance of the people who are addicted to drugs.  the Buddhists, people groups from Chakma, Riang and other immigrants to know the saving grace of our Lord.  problems faced by the state due to illegal entry from Bangladesh and Myanmar be solved. 29. NAGALAND Population : 19.80 lakh Districts : 11 Villages : 1,315 Christians : 90% Praise  for the Baptist, Pentecostal and for all the other Churches functioning in this state.  for the highest number of Christian presence (90%) in the state in India.  Missionaries who are serving throughout the nation for the extension of the Kingdom of God sent through Naga mission. Pray  for the people who are addcited to drugs be delivered.  for the replica of the revival which took place in 1956, 1962 and 1972.  the Naga belivers to involve in the translation of the Bible in all the Indian languages.  for the oneness among all the believers irrespective of the denominations they belong to and abide in the First Love. 30. Population : 14.50 lakh Districts : 2 Villages : 359 Christians : 26.7% Praise  economy of the state improves by the growth of tourism and exports.  action taken by the state to curb bribery in all the Government departments.  for all the Protestant and other Churches that are functioning in the state. ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS Population : 3.81 lakh Districts : 3 Villages : 547 Christians : 23.1% Praise  for it consists of 572 small and big islands and God has blessed this with the forest wealth.  for all the villages in the island are electrified.  for all the mainline Churches, Pentecostal and house Churches which are functioning here. Pray  for the salvation of Nickrittle people group who hunt Nomadic people.  for the tribal people viz., Nicobary, Mangolia, Andamanis, Jarawas, Sentinels, Sembon and Pontaas who are opposing the Gospel. Pray that these people are touched by the love of Christ and saved.  God to protect these islands from Tsunami, earthquake and storms.  that the Gospel work be done effectively among the people groups like Oravon, Munda, Gama and Nickrittle. 32. PUDUCHERRY Population : 12.48 lakh Districts : 4 Villages : 92 Christians : 7% Praise  for the numerous Lutheran Churches established and are functioning here on arrival of Zegenbalgh in 1706.  for the ministry being carried out in large scale among Vanniyars.  for the interest being shown by Scheduled caste people to the Gospel.  for CSI, AG, Lutheran Churches are multiplying. Pray  for the people who are addicted to certain evil habits like liquor, drugs and prostitution to repent and accept Christ.  that effective evangelistic efforts be taken in Yenam, Mahi and Karaikal where Churches and Christians are very few.  that the salvation message of Jesus Christ be proclaimed to entire population.  the people who visit the religious important places and tourist centres be met with Gospel. 33. Population : 3.44 lakh Districts : 1 Villages : 67 Christians : 2.7% Praise  for the Tribal and Adhivasi people are welcoming the Gospel.  for the few spiritual Churches and prayer groups functioning in these islands.  for the efforts of the Government for the betterment of the Adhivasi people.

Pray  that opposition for the outreach ministry in their islands be controlled.  for the salvation of the people who are involved in deity worship and witchcraft.  for the Churches to experience a revival and develop disciples among tribal people.  since a very few missionaries are involved in mission activities here, the Good News has not been reached all people. Pray for more missioanries and organisations to come up. 34. Population : 2.43 lakh Districts : 2 Villages : 23 Christians : 2.1 % Praise  the Central Government has allowed this Union Territory to set up a medial college here.  for the prayer groups active here and for the power of Lord be manifested in those prayer groups.  for all the villages in this Union Territory have been electrified.  for the excellent industrial areas viz., Tabel, Pinpor, Kadaya and Ringanwade functioning in this Union Territory. Pray  Samar, , Thupla, Naika, Warlis and Dhodias are not showing interest in the Gospel. Pray that the Lord to raise missionaries with burdern and concern to reach these people groups.  to the Lord to raise up more missionaries and Churches as this Union Territory has very few Churches.  that the Christians here to live a life of testimony to show Christ through their lives to others. 35. LAKSHWADEEP Population : 64,473 Districts : 1 Villages : 24 Christians : 1.5% Praise  for the house Churches and prayer groups organized by certain missionary organisation in these islands.  for the interest of the people towards Gospel of Jesus Christ despite stringent Islamic Laws. Pray  for more dedicated missionaries to come forward to shoulder the responsibility of sharing the Good News with Mappilla community, Koya, Melasery, Malomi and Dalit people.  to the Lord to reveal Himself to the people who worship spirits. 36. CHANDIGARH Population : 10.55 lakh Districts : 1 Villages : 24 Christians : 1.1% Praise  for the CNI and other spiritual Churches functioning here.  for all the villages in this Union Territory have been electrified.  for the interest shown by the Scheduled caste people and Tribal people to Gospel. Pray  for a revival similar to the one that took place in 19th century among Suras to occur here once again.  though the Scheduled caste people and tribal people show interest to the Gospel, since there are no dedicated missionaries, the Good News has not reached many people. The Lord raise more missionaries burdened for soul.  that the spiritual dryness among the Christian be changed and revival to take place.
