Built within The William Vale hotel, the 5820 sq. ft. venue celebrates Southern Italian cuisine in a remarkable menu of wood-fired pizza, earthy pastas and grilled specialties crafted by chef Andrew Carmellini. Meant as an inviting, sophisticated yet approachable setting for travelers and locals alike to socialize in, the soulful 187 seats restaurant was designed following the poetic narrative of a young couple and their little girl moving to Brooklyn. The venue is a romantic projection of their childhood spent in Italy, a reminiscence of their Nona’s country house.

Walking under the roman arches, discover the glowing oak cladded dining room. With its open views onto the bustling kitchen and rich amber hues, it will be your favourite option for evening feasts. Featuring an engaging contemporary art program, Leuca’s dining room has quickly become a favourite in the neighbourhood and with it’s authentic design details and cuisine, it is no wonder the likes of Prada and Vogue Magazine have already called this restaurant home.

53 AMERICAN ARCHITECTURE PRIZE ROSEWOOD HOTEL GEORGIA VANCOUVER, BC | 2011 - 2013 | DELTA LAND DEVELOPMENT

Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s re-design by Studio Munge is a dazzling rejuvenation of the hotel’s interiors, reflecting the luxury, glamour and sophistication consistent with the Rosewood brand. Preserving elements from the iconic 1920’s building, including terrazzo flooring, elevator cab detailing and the original clock and staircase in the Grand Hall, Studio Munge implemented a contemporary FF&E program that included custom-designed furnishings and detailed millwork, custom-designed light fixtures and contemporary artwork.

The fundamental design approach to the hotel suites applied the principles of custom residential design to create the ultimate in luxurious warmth and comfort. Throughout the guest suites, rich bespoke furnishings offer a striking contrast to the neutral colour schemes employed throughout the hotel. The colour palette is subtle and sophisticated, with the suites’ hard finishes such as flooring and accent furniture echoing the profile found in the hotel’s public areas.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s amenities are located on the fourth floor, offering guests an elegant, refreshing retreat from Vancouver’s bustling downtown core. At Sense, a Rosewood Spa, guests can enjoy a tranquil sanctuary offering a full range of locally inspired therapies and treatments. A soaring double-height pool area with a stunning 52-foot saltwater lap pool features unique glass portals illuminated by a meeting room below; a state-of-the-art fitness facility offers views overlooking Reflections Lounge, a contemporary, urban retreat. The outdoor courtyard space of Reflections Lounge maintains a harmonious connection to the architecture and interiors of the hotel while offering the youthful vibrancy reflected by the city’s energetic character.

54 AMERICAN ARCHITECTURE PRIZE ROSEWOOD HOTEL GEORGIA VANCOUVER, BC | 2011 - 2013 | DELTA LAND DEVELOPMENT

Guest room furnishings are luxurious and upscale, with inviting textures and patterns that create richness and depth. The modern design program honours the history of the hotel with details such as decorative screens in guest suites, representative of the 1920’s Georgian Revival theme with a contemporary edge.

With the application of a striking FF&E program that saw the design of dozens of pieces of fine custom furnishings, Studio Munge refined the hotel’s classic forms and brought touches of modernity to the building’s design. Recently awarded the 2015 Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Rating for both the Hotel and Sense, A Rosewood Spa (the first hotel in Canada to receive this honor), Rosewood Hotel Georgia has been restored in a manner that reflects the property’s former glory, and has set the benchmark as a global industry leader.

Rebel, located in Toronto’s industrial district “The Portland’s,” is the newest venture from the hospitality group, INK Entertainment and . Rebel is a full-service adaptable hospitality venue, offering the perfect setting for Canada’s largest nightclub, a corporate day meeting space and concert hall with its stage capable of hosting the biggest performers in the world.

Studio Munge’s vision was to create a multi- functional, exciting entertainment experience, attracting a clientele from a range of interests and backgrounds. The end result is a complete entertainment escape.

Rebel encompasses four key themes; powerful sound, immersive light, sensual forms and tactile details. We took inspiration from international hospitality and entertainment venues, the music industry, fashion and, of course, design. International cities and luxury fashion were a key ingredient, as our original creative concept and mood stemmed from a Roberto Cavalli gown. Our narratives continue to evolve, and by the time Rebel opened its doors, that lovely dress had blossomed into a symbolic motif of woman and animal.
