Entry is open to Victorian and New South Wales residents only 18 years or older. However, employees and relatives of ACE Radio Broadcasters Pty. Ltd. and Trafalgar Tours are ineligible to enter. This includes parents, siblings, grandparents, spouses or partners, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews of employees. These terms and conditions can be viewed online www.themorningrush.com.au Competition Period First Day: Monday, May 20, 2019 at 5.30am ​ ​ Last Day: Friday, May 31, 2019 at 8.00am Entry Method Each weekday between 5.30 and 8.30am during the promotional period, a “Cue to Call” will be aired on The Morning Rush and the first person to call in on 1300 001 242 will become a finalist for The Ultimate American Adventure. There will be ten (10) finalists. If in the course of the telephone line drops out/ breaks up the Promoter may proceed to another caller. In such event, the Promoter will not be responsible for the awarding of any finalist to the caller whose line dropped out or broke up. Each entrant can only be selected once as a finalist. Once a winner has successfully been selected as a finalist, they become ineligible to enter on any further dates within this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry which in the opinion of the Promoter includes any content which may be unlawful, profane, inflammatory, defamatory and/or damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promoter. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter. Conditions of entry The prize includes flights, accommodation and some meals as detailed in the PRIZE DETAILS section of this document. ​ ​ Travel expenses, including but not limited to additional accommodation pre and post trip, spending money, additional meals, taxes, insurance, transport to and from departure point in Australia, additional transfers (if applicable), items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. The prize (or any element of the prize) once booked it is non-transferable. Once bookings are confirmed and ticketed, cancellation charges apply and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner must show photo identification in the form of the following in order to participate in the final draw: ● Drivers License ● Proof of age card ● Current Passport ● Defence Force Identification Card The Promoter and their affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. A current passport and travel visa are the responsibility of the prize winner. Availability to travel on the nominated prize date and times are the responsibility of the prize winner. If the winner is unable to accept to travel on the Major Prize dates, they may nominate an alternative prize winner who will have sole ownership of the entire prize as detailed. If the original prize winner is still unable to travel on the specified dates and fails to nominate an alternative prize winner, the entire prize will be returned to the promoter. All entrants give ACE Radio Broadcasters permission to also advertise that they have won the major prize or voucher and the details of the prizes that they have won – including costs. Any tax payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the winner. Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize if this is a concern. Prize Draw: The Grand Draw will be held on Friday, May 31 2019, between at 8.00am - 8.30am at the ACE Radio Studios - 95 Timor Street, Warrnambool, Victoria, 3280. One name will be drawn at random from the 10 finalists and that person will be deemed the winner of the Excellent American Adventure. Prize Details The winner will win a Best of The Canyon Lands Trafalgar Tour for two (2) ​ Adults. Prize Includes; ● Return economy airfares and transfers for two (2) adults departing Melbourne ● Six (6) nights accommodation ● 9 Meals (6 full breakfasts and 3 dinners) ​ ● On trip transportation Confirmation of this prize is subject to space and availability at time of redemption. Blackout dates apply. The prize is available from July – October ​ 2019 Total Prize Value Not exceeding $10,000 Notification of Winners - via mail (email); - via telephone; and - on air at the time of winning, - All winners published on the Station Website as set out below. The team, who won their 50th consecutive ratings survey last month, have been on air together for nearly nine years and won the top ACRA accolade in 2006, 2007 and 2011. Producer of the program, Gemma O’Neill won Best Show Producer (Entertainment/Music). Winner of the Best On-Air Team (Metro AM) is Melbourne 3AW’s top rating breakfast team, Ross Stevenson and John Burns. Continuing to dominate their time slot in Melbourne, this is their second Best On-Air Team gong, having taken out the award in 2011. Nova’s Sydney breakfast team, Fitzy and Wippa (Ryan Fitzgerald & Michael Wipfli) won three awards: Best Networked Program for the Best of Fitzy & Wippa, Best Station Produced Comedy Segment for Cookie Jars Parody and Best Multimedia Execution for their many well known song parodies. WSFM’s Jonesy and Amanda, last year’s winner of the Best On Air Team (Metro FM) won the best Syndicated Program for My Generation.
