  • An Evaluation of Ahmad Dahlan Impacting to the Leadership in Indonesia
Journal Didaskalia E-ISSN: 2621-8054 P-ISSN: 2622-1667 AN EVALUATION OF AHMAD DAHLAN IMPACTING TO THE LEADERSHIP IN INDONESIA Anton Sebastian 1) Stanley 2) 1) Abdi Gusti Theological Seminary - Nganjuk E-mail: [email protected] 2) Abdi Gusti Theological Seminary - Nganjuk E-mail: [email protected] Abstract Ahmad Dahlan is the fourth child. Born in 1868 to a traditional Muslim family domiciled in Kauman, a religious village in Yogyakarta. The village is located just beside the Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta, and is a well-known village inhabited by Muslims. When he was a child, his name was Muhammad Darwisy. Upon returning from Mecca, he changed his name to Ahmad Dahlan. His father Kiai Haji Abu Bakar bin Haji Sulaiman, was the official Kotib of the Great Mosque of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta. His mother named Siti Aminah was the daughter of Religious Judge Kiai Haji Ibrahim. According to the biographers of Ahmad Dahlan, one of Dahlan's ancestors was the first and most famous guardian of Wali Songo, Maulana Malik Ibrahim. Even the Dutch report said he was Arabic. This report may be true because based on this genealogical background, which was strengthened by his interest in reform ideas, Ahmad Dahlan - before establishing his own organization - joined Jamiat Kheir and later sent his son to study at the school the organization had founded. This paper aims to see to what extent the approach strategy and values used by Ahmad Dahlan to advance Islamic teachings? What is the Government's attitude towards what Ahmad Dahlan has done? Then, how is the author's critical evaluation of Ahmad Dahlan's approach to strategy to education in Indonesia? Application: challenge Indonesian national educators.

  • Religious Specificities in the Early Sultanate of Banten
Religious Specificities in the Early Sultanate of Banten (Western Java, Indonesia) Gabriel Facal Abstract: This article examines the religious specificities of Banten during the early Islamizing of the region. The main characteristics of this process reside in a link between commerce and Muslim networks, a strong cosmopolitism, a variety of the Islam practices, the large number of brotherhoods’ followers and the popularity of esoteric practices. These specificities implicate that the Islamizing of the region was very progressive within period of time and the processes of conversion also generated inter-influence with local religious practices and cosmologies. As a consequence, the widespread assertion that Banten is a bastion of religious orthodoxy and the image the region suffers today as hosting bases of rigorist movements may be nuanced by the variety of the forms that Islam took through history. The dominant media- centered perspective also eludes the fact that cohabitation between religion and ritual initiation still composes the authority structure. This article aims to contribute to the knowledge of this phenomenon. Keywords: Islam, Banten, sultanate, initiation, commerce, cosmopolitism, brotherhoods. 1 Banten is well-known by historians to have been, during the Dutch colonial period at the XIXth century, a region where the observance of religious duties, like charity (zakat) and the pilgrimage to Mecca (hajj), was stronger than elsewhere in Java1. In the Indonesian popular vision, it is also considered to have been a stronghold against the Dutch occupation, and the Bantenese have the reputation to be rougher than their neighbors, that is the Sundanese. This image is mainly linked to the extended practice of local martial arts (penca) and invulnerability (debus) which are widespread and still transmitted in a number of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren).

Turkish Journal of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation; 32(3) ISSN 2651-4451 | e-ISSN 2651-446X LEGAL POLICY IN STRENGTHENING REGIONAL FOOD SECURITY IN PANCASILA PERSPECTIVE: A STUDY ON REGIONAL FOOD SECURITY MANAGEMENT IN TANGERANG REGENCY Fatkhul Muin1, Agus Prihartono Permana Sidik2, M. Muslih3 1Faculty of Law Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Serang Banten Indonesia 2Faculty of Law Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Serang Banten Indonesia 3Faculty of Law Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Serang Banten Indonesia [email protected] ABSTRACT The main instrument in strengthening food security is regulations that must be made by local governments based on their authority by maintaining aspects of local wisdom. Based on article 18 paragraph 6 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, in an effort to give authority to regions, regions can make regional regulations. This authority is a regional effort to form norms oriented towards regional interests to maintain regional food security. In general, Tangerang Regency has 3 (three) potentials, which are industry, agriculture and fisheries, through 2 (two) potentials: agriculture and fisheries. The commodity produced by Tangerang Regency with high productivity is rice with productivity reaching 5.9 tonnes / ha. Tonnes of GKG. For secondary crops productivity in 2017 included corn 3.3 tonnes / ha, peanuts 1.6 tonnes / ha, cassava 12.5 tonnes / ha, and sweet potatoes 9.9 tonnes / ha. Therefore, local governments must have special norms that are manifested through regional regulations relating to regional food security as a legal policy and as a mandate for Pancasila in the dimension of creating social justice that must be carried out.
