So Follow Their Guidance Abul-Hasan al-Muhajir April 22, 2018

All praise is due to , the one who honors Islam with His support of it, disgraces shirk with His subjugation of it, administers all affairs with His command, and lures the disbelievers with His plotting. He is the one who decreed – through His justice – for the days [of victory] to alternate [between the believers and the disbelievers], and – through His grace – made the final outcome for the believers. May blessings and peace be upon him through whose sword Allah elevated the beacon of Islam. As for what follows:

At the point when the battle is most intense and the echo of the disbelievers’ hopes of wiping out the Islamic State is reverberating, the carriers of the banner and guardians of the creed draw their strength from their Creator, the Exalted and Sublime. He is the one on whom they depend and rely, because the matter is in His Hands. They donned the armor of faith and righteous deeds, and therefore, were not weakened by the defeated collapse of the rumormongers, the fainthearted, and those upon falsehood. Truly, they became noble and honorable dignitaries. They read the statement of Allah, “If you do not march forth,”1 and pounced, and their ears harkened to the call, “If you do not aid him,”2 and they sacrificed [what they had] whether they were in ease or in hardship and whether they were old or young. They did not cling to comfort and bliss or incline to the materialistic heaps of the transient world. They dedicated themselves to the truth and worked to plant it firmly, so it developed and produced ripe, good fruit. The jihad then entered into the neighboring lands, and its reach continued to expand, scorching the nations of the Cross and the treacherous governments of apostasy with its flames, in a jihad with noble aims that was being waged against the enemies of Allah, and in battles of truth being waged by those who were patient and had certainty in that which Allah had promised them. They read the statement of their Lord, “Allah would not leave the believers in that [condition] you are in [presently] until He separates the evil from the good” (Al ‘Imran 179), and they recognized the enormity of the matter as the days went by, and that the coming of tribulations and the sifting and purification of the ranks was something inevitable. It was the prevailing Sunnah (way) of Allah, “And you will not find in the Sunnah of Allah any change” (Al-Ahzab 62). With every event and phenomenon, they return and quench their thirst from the spring of guidance that doesn’t dry up. So doubt never made its way into their hearts, and neither adversity nor the multitude of enemies proved burdensome for them.

{Poetry}

Noble leaders whose minds are like mountains To them, the towering mountains are just mounds When they become angry for the sake of Allah, their carnage will please you And the time you see lions most destructive is when they are angry And if they dedicate their lives to war, they employ

1 Their limbs against armored fighters like spears And beneath their armor and spears, you would consider them To be fierce lions who destroyed a mirage in their lair

They bewildered and terrorized the nations of kufr. They robbed them of their comfort and safety, and left them scattered, to the point that these nations wished for but could no longer find a peaceful life, and did not know from which direction they would be attacked. The muwahhid mujahid who had been oppressed in the land now saw the disbelieving Crusader – European and American alike – being run over, stabbed, and killed on the streets of Paris, London, and Manhattan – eye for eye and tooth for tooth, a just reward. So just as they kill us, they too will be killed, and just as they bomb us, they too will be bombed, and they will be gathered unto .

{Poetry}

We killed them like dogs and did not leave

Anything for them to boast about among the people, O friend

But the deluded leaders of kufr have not yet learned their lesson, and the foolish among them continue to delude them and give them false hope, so they remain persistent in their criminality without giving consideration to what the coming days will reveal for them due to their stupidity and their oppression of the without compassion or mercy. So what is there to be surprised at? This is their habit, just as the All-Knowing and All-Aware informed us when He stated in His Noble Book, “And they will not cease fighting you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able. And whoever of you reverts from his religion [to disbelief] and dies while he is a disbeliever – for those, their deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally” (Al-Baqarah 217).

Thus, our Lord, the Wise and All-Knowing, revealed in His Book the reality of these disbelieving criminals and commanded us to fight them and kill them until the religion is entirely for Allah. So either they embrace Islam, or submit to the command and rule of Allah in lowliness and humiliation. He made it obligatory on us to cleanse the earth of the stench of their shirk, their , their buffoonery, and their tyranny in the land, and our Lord – the Blessed and Exalted – commanded us to fight the mushrikin collectively just as they fight us collectively. So there is no difference between us fighting the apostate , Salman, and his foolish son, or Sisi and his army, and there is no difference between us fighting the Rafidi-Safawi, Khamenei, or the secularist Abbas and Hamas. There is no difference between us fighting them or their Crusader American, Russian, and European allies, other than the fact that the former are from the sons of Ya’rub, and are harsher towards Islam, and will reside in a lower level [of Hell]. Our Lord said, “And fight against the mushrikin collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous [who fear Him]” (At-Tawbah 36). He also said, “Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah (i.e. shirk) and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors” (Al-Baqarah 193). And He warned, saying, “O you who have believed, do not take the and the as

2 allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people” (Al-Maidah 51).

So fighting the disbelieving mushrikin is an aspect of the religion through which we worship Allah and through which we seek nearness to Him – may He be glorified – so that He becomes pleased with us. He, the Exalted, said, “Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not” (Al-Baqarah 216). He also reminded His slaves and incited them towards the tremendous reward given to those who strive in His path to fight His enemies, saying, “That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good” (At-Tawbah 120). Allah – may He be glorified – also said, “Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly” (As-Saff 4). And indeed, fighting for the cause of Allah is a profitable form of trade which Allah – the Sublime – has guided His slaves to, saying, “O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment? [It is that] you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know” (As-Saff 10-11). Thus, He made the reward tremendous, and clarified this in His statement, “He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment. And [you will obtain] another [favor] that you love – victory from Allah and an imminent conquest; and give good tidings to the believers” (As-Saff 12-13).

Ibnul-Qayyim states in Madarij as-Salikin, “The worship of jihad is from the most beloved forms of worship to Allah – the Glorified – and if all the people were to be believers, this form of worship would have come to an end, and likewise what is related to it, including having allegiance for the sake of Allah, having enmity for His sake, loving for His sake, hating for His sake, and exerting oneself for Him in waging war against His enemy…And from among them is the worship of differentiating oneself from His enemy, humiliates him for the sake of Allah, and enraging him for the sake of Allah, and these are from the most beloved forms of worship to Him, for He – the Glorified – loves that His ally enrages His enemy, humiliates him, and harms him. And these are forms of worship that no one undertakes except those who are clever.” This marks the end of his words (may Allah have mercy on him).

And in Sahih al-Bukhari, it is reported that Anas Ibn Malik narrated, saying, “Allah’s Messenger said, ‘I was commanded to fight the people until they say ‘La ilaha illallah (there is no but Allah).’ So if they say it, and they pray as we pray, face our qiblah, and slaughter as we slaughter, their blood and wealth has become forbidden except by its right, and their reckoning is upon Allah’” (Reported by al-Bukhari).

The imam of the Najdi da’wah – may Allah have mercy on him – was asked about the meaning of “La ilaha illallah” and he replied, “Know – may Allah have mercy on you – that this statement is what divides between kufr and Islam. It is the statement of taqwa, the most trustworthy

3 handhold, and it is that which Ibrahim made ‘a statement remaining among his descendants so that they might return [to it]’ (Az-Zukhruf 28). And the goal is not to simply utter it with one’s tongue while being ignorant of its meaning, for the munafiqin also say it and yet they are in the lowest level of Hell, despite the fact that they pray, fast, and give charity. Rather, the goal is to be cognizant of it with one’s heart, to love it and to love its people, and to hate and have enmity towards those who oppose it, just as the Prophet said, ‘Whoever says ‘La ilaha illallah’ with sincerity,’ and in another narration, ‘truthfully from the heart,’ and in another wording, ‘Whoever say ‘La ilaha illallah’ and disbelieves in that which is worshiped besides Allah,’ and other such evidence which indicates the ignorance that most people have of this shahadah.” This marks the end of his words.

He (may Allah have mercy on him) also said in his tafsir of Allah’s statement, “Indeed, Ibrahim was an ummah (a comprehensive leader), devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who ascribe partners [to Allah]” (An-Nahl 120), “As for Allah’s statement, ‘Indeed, Ibrahim was an ummah,’ it is so that the one treading the path does not feel lonely due to the small numbers of those upon the path, ‘devoutly obedient to Allah,’ not to kings or to affluent traders, ‘inclining toward truth,’ not inclining right or left as is the case with the corrupt scholars, ‘and he was not of those who ascribe partners [to Allah],’ in contrast to those who increase their multitudes in number while claiming to be from among the Muslims.”

So with regards to “La ilaha illallah,” what a tremendous number of people who have regressed and turned away from the statement of ikhlas, those who attribute themselves to the Ummah but do the opposite of what it entails, destroying its foundation while claiming to support it, and allying with its enemies who wage war against those who carry this statement and defend it. And indeed, the condition of the people of Islam will not be rectified except with a guiding Book and an aiding sword, and by reviving the Sunnah of as-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) with regards to those who apostatized and left the rule of Allah, jumped to the camp of the disbelievers, and allied with the tawaghit, the mushrikin, and the deviants, even if they were to pray, fast, and make tawaf around the Sacred House, for in a stance that clearly demonstrated Allah’s care and preservation of this religion, a stance the likes of which is not taken except by men who are directed, inspired, and given tawfiq [by Allah], as-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) fought the who apostatized. Allah subjugated by him every enemy of the religion, and caused the Ummah to stand with him and returned them to him after most of them had apostatized from the religion and turned back on their heels as disbelievers. (may Allah be pleased with him) stood like a towering mountain before a fierce wind and a severe fitnah, to the point that he said, “By Allah, I will kill anyone who divides between the prayer and the zakah, for the zakah is the right upon the wealth. By Allah, if they were to withhold from me a small goat which they used to pay to Allah’s Messenger , I would fight them for withholding it.” And that was the day on which the Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them) said to him, “How can you fight the people when Allah’s Messenger said, I have been commanded to fight the people until they say, ‘La ilaha illallah?’” ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I then said, ‘O Khalifah of Allah’s Messenger, draw the people’s hearts and be gentle with them.’ So he said to me, ‘Are you a tyrant in jahiliyyah and a weakling in Islam? The revelation has ceased and the religion has been completed. Shall it be decreased while I am alive?’”

4 Al-Faruq, ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), then said, “By Allah, the iman of Abu Bakr has certainly outweighed the iman of this entire ummah in fighting the apostates.”

Abu Bakr Ibn ‘Ayyash said, “I heard Abu Husayn say, ‘No one was born after the prophets who was better than Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). In fighting the apostates, he took the stance of a prophet.’”

Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said, “And if the Salaf had labeled those who withheld the zakah as murtaddin despite their fasting and prayer, and despite them not fighting the Jama’ah of the Muslims, how then with regards to those who ally with the enemies of Allah and His Messenger to fight the Muslims?”

Rather, we say in this era, how then with regards to those who ally with the enemies of Allah and His Messenger from among the tawaghit who change Allah’s law and judgment, humbly and faithfully serving and supporting the Crusaders and atheists, and on top of that, they fume with rage at the Jama’ah of the Muslims, hoping and wishing to see the end of Allah’s rule, an event that they would welcome and openly announce and boast over if it were to occur, as was the case in Mosul, Sirte, Raqqah, and elsewhere. And among the strange matters in this era is the foolishness of those who find it appealing to lie and slander, boasting over the Islamic State and its loss of territory that it ruled with the Shari’ah of Allah, at a time when a Muslim does not find a land of Islam on the face of the earth that he can resort to apart from that which is under the authority of the Khilafah, despite the fierceness and severity of the Crusader campaign. And the soldiers of the Khilafah in Iraq, Sham, Yemen, Khurasan, Sinai, Libya, West Africa, and elsewhere continue to eagerly offer their lives for the sake of elevating the word of truth and the religion. They are – in this era – fighting for the religion of Islam, and they are from the most deserving of being regarded as part of the Taifah Mansurah (the victorious group) which the Prophet mentioned in his statement, “There will not cease to be a group from my ummah manifest upon the truth, not being harmed by those who oppose them, nor by those who forsake them, until the Hour is established.” He also said, “There will not cease to be a group from my ummah fighting upon the truth, manifest until the Day of Judgment.” Therefore, O sons of Islam and carriers of tawhid everywhere, before you are the battalions of the Khilafah. Join their ranks and increase them in number, for indeed, we are proceeding towards a powerful victory and an imminent conquest, by Allah’s permission, so do not let the reward of preceding others pass you by.

And indeed, our battle against kufr and apostasy is a destiny that is inevitable, and an incumbent obligation, and it is not allowed for one who believes in Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion, and Muhammad as his prophet to remain behind from taking part in order to repel their attacks and their plundering of the lands of the Muslims. For a long period of time, the Muslims were akin to wet sheep on a wintery night, due to their enemy gaining dominance and their authority coming to an end. And you do not see from many of those who attribute themselves to Islam anything other than the whims they follow and their appalling inclination away from the religion through their apostasy and their abominable service to the grandsons of monkeys and pigs. So the people of Islam have not been afflicted at any point throughout the ages with the likes of this affliction – a war of creed and methodology, as well as an economic, military, and media war –

5 nor were they afflicted with the likes of what they’ve been afflicted today by those who attribute themselves to knowledge. In fact, these scholars have become a spear that is used to fight anyone who strives to establish the rule and Shari’ah of Allah in the land.

So how amazing it is to see one read the Book of his Lord and then reside in the shade of humiliation and disgrace, having been robbed of his own will, and being dictated what he is obliged to believe and what he is obliged to avoid with respect to his religion, residing in a sullen schizophrenia completely detached from any understanding of reality, which is not known and understood except by those who jump out from the lowliness they are in and, through their adherence to the peak of the religion (jihad), climb to the top of the rough, towering peaks and look out and base their view of reality on deeds, not on excessive speech and verbiage, as is the condition of those who remain behind. And what is the solution for ridding the Muslims of this tremendous agony and widespread evil? Indeed, the guidance of Allah is more quickly attained by those who wage jihad for His sake, and His promise to them is most truthful. He – the Glorified – said, “And those who wage jihad for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good” (Al-‘Ankabut 69). Ibnul-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said, “And know that the slave will not be firm upon Islam until he firmly believes in his heart that the religion is entirely for Allah, and that true guidance is the guidance of Allah, and that the truth is with Allah’s Messenger (i.e. what he came with) regardless of whether or not he is present with us, and that none is obeyed except him and none is followed other than him, and that anyone else’s speech is measured against his speech and if it agrees with his speech, we accept it, not because that particular individual said it, but rather, because it is something he informed us of that is from Allah and His Messenger, and that individual’s speech does not agree with his speech, we reject it. And his speech is not measured against the opinions of those who go to extremes in qiyas, nor against the intellects of philosophers, nor against the tastes and preferences of ascetics. Rather, all of this is held up and measured against what he has come with, the same way that questionable dirhams are presented to the most experienced moneychangers, and whatever is then judged to be correct is accepted, and what is judged as being rejected is rejected.” This marks the end of his words (may Allah have mercy on him).

Therefore, O you following the path of the Prophet Muhammad and his noble companions, O you who has refused but to proceed on the path of the righteous predecessors of this ummah, O you who endures agony by day and is struck by disaster by night, O you who has submitted to Allah, but sees relief to be slow in coming after having had certainty that there is no solution that our Lord would be pleased with, and no path or means to achieving this ummah’s success and rescuing it from the depths of misery except jihad, killing, and fighting for His sake so that the Muslim once more becomes free and noble, not enslaved and humiliated, and so that Islam leads the world and all humans submit to Allah, the Lord of the creation. Know that comfort and bliss cannot be reached except by crossing the bridge of pain and fatigue, and this shows you, my mujahid brother, that pain and calamity conceals blessings, pleasures, and delights. Today you are in a tremendous, noble, place the likes of which few in this era have been in, a place where you defend the religion of Ibrahim and the Sunnah of the greatest of the messengers (may blessings and peace be upon them) out of obedience to Allah, hoping for what He has promised, and in fulfillment of His command. So beware of the Shaytan’s plot against you, for he does not

6 cease his efforts against the righteous slave, at times tempting him, and at times giving him false hope, until he falls into his trap, for indeed, the matter is significant. And find joy in the promise of your Lord to those who believe, affirm HisMessengers, make hijrah, are harmed for His sake, and fight until they are killed while patiently anticipating Allah’s reward, for indeed, those who are patient will be given their reward without account.

The Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them) were the best of generations and the most knowledgeable of the people regarding the Book of their Lord and the Sunnah of their prophet . They did not refrain from fighting the disbelieving mushrikin with Allah’s Messenger in his time, nor did they hold refrain from fighting the apostates after his death. And in that regard, they took the loftiest of stances, and thus they raised the beacon of Islam after it was almost extinguished.

An example of sacrifice for the religion and the firm resolve of the first generations is seen in what is narrated by Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said, “My uncle, Anas Ibn an-Nadr, missed the . So he said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I missed the first battle in which you fought the mushrikin. If Allah causes me to attend a battle against the mushrikin, He will certainly see what I do.’ Then, on the day of Uhud, when the Muslims became exposed, he said, ‘O Allah, I seek Your pardon for what these ones – meaning the Sahabah – have done, and I disassociate myself before You from what these ones – meaning the mushrikin – have done.’ He then went forth and met Sa’d Ibn Mu’adh and said, ‘O Sa’d Ibn Mu’adh, , by the Lord of an-Nadr! I smell its fragrance in front of Uhud.’ Sa’d said, ‘I wasn’t able, O Messenger of Allah, to do what he did.’” Anas said, “We found on him eighty some-odd wounds from swords, spears, and arrows, and we found him killed, and the mushrikin had mutilated him, so no one recognized him except for his sister, who recognized him by his fingertips.” Anas said, “We used to view or think that this ayah was revealed concerning him and his likes: ‘Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah’ (Al-Ahzab 23)…to the end of the ayah” (Reported by al-Bukhari). Anas also narrated, saying “Allah’s Messenger and his companions set out until they arrived at Badr ahead of the mushrikin. The mushrikin then came, so Allah’s Messenger said, ‘Let not one of you proceed towards anything unless I’m in front of him.’ The mushrikin then approached, so Allah’s Messenger said, ‘Rise unto a garden whose expanse is equivalent to the expanse of the heavens and the earth.’” He (Anas) said, “‘Umayr Ibn al-Humam al-Ansari said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, a garden whose expanse is equivalent to the expanse of the heavens and the earth?’ He said, ‘Yes.’ ‘Umayr said, ‘Bakh, bakh! (How amazing!)’ So Allah’s Messenger said, ‘What makes you say, ‘Bakh, bakh?’’ He said, ‘No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, only my hope of being from among its people.’ He said, ‘You are from among them.’ ‘Umayr then took out some dates from his quiver and began eating them. He then said, ‘If I were to live long enough to eat these dates of mine it would be a long life.’” Anas said, “He then threw away the dates he had and fought until he was killed” (Reported by Muslim).

In fact, the carriers of the from among the noble Sahabah (may Allah be pleased with them) were the forerunners who would race headlong towards death. Yes, O seeker of knowledge, for during the wars of apostasy, al-Faruq and as-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with them) feared that much of the Quran would be lost due to the large number who were being killed from among them, until al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with him) said to the Khalifah of

7 Allah’s Messenger , “Many of the reciters of the Quran have been killed on the day of Yamamah, and I fear that the killing of the reciters will increase in [battles in] various lands and much of the Quran will be lost, and I view that you should order for the Quran to be gathered.” So that was a reason for the gathering of the Quran and its preservation in the masahif in writing. So what a noble stance was taken by the carriers of knowledge and the Quran on the day when the fruits of their knowledge became manifest through their demonstration of courage and bravery without fear or doubt.

And then there’s Zayd Ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), who carried the banner of the Muslims on the day of Yamamah during the wars of apostasy. With the voice of a person who had conviction that what was with Allah was better and more lasting, and that the final outcome would be for the believers, he would shout, “O Allah, I seek Your pardon for my companions fleeing, and I disassociate myself before You from what Musaylimah has come with.” And he continued to advance forward with the banner, slaughtering the enemy and fighting until he was eventually killed. Then, the banner was taken up by Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfah, and when the Muslims became exposed on the day of Yamamah, Salim, who was one of the carriers of the Quran, said, “This is not what we would do when we were with Allah’s Messenger .” He then dug a hole for himself and stood inside it, and with him was the banner of the muhajirin on that day, and he fought until he was killed (may Allah have mercy on him).

Ja’far Ibn ‘Abdillah Ibn Aslam narrated, saying, “On the day of Yamamah, when the people formed ranks, the first to be wounded was Abu ‘Aqil. He was hit by an arrow in a non-life threatening spot between his shoulders and his heart. He took out the arrow, and the left side of his body became weak in the morning, and he was taken back to the encampment. Then, when the battle became intense and the Muslims were pushed back past their encampment, Abu ‘Aqil, who was weak due to his wound, heard Ma’an Ibn ‘Adiy shout, ‘O ! You must charge your enemy!’ ‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar said, ‘So Abu ‘Aqil got up to go to his people, so I said, ‘What are you doing? You can’t fight!’ He said, ‘The caller has called my name.’’ Ibn ‘Umar said, ‘I told him, ‘He only said, ‘O Ansar,’ and he doesn’t mean the wounded.’ Abu ‘Aqil said, ‘I am from the Ansar, and I will respond to him even if I have to crawl.’’ Ibn ‘Umar said, ‘Abu ‘Aqil then put on his belt and grasped his sword in his right hand, and began calling, ‘O Ansar! Charge them like on the day of Hunayn! Rally together, may Allah have mercy on you. Advance forward, for the Muslims are being targeted by their enemy!’ Until they pushed the enemy back and into the garden, and the fighters became mixed together and the swords kept striking among us.’ Ibn ‘Umar said, ‘I then looked to Abu ‘Aqil and saw that his injured arm had been cut off from the shoulder and had fallen to the ground, and he had 14 wounds on him, all of which were life-threatening, and the enemy of Allah, Musaylimah, had been killed.’ Ibn ‘Umar said, ‘I stood over Abu ‘Aqil as he was on the brink of death, and said, ‘O Abu ‘Aqil!’ He said, ‘Labbayk (I respond),’ – in a muddled voice – ‘Who was victorious?’ I said, ‘Rejoice, the enemy of Allah has been killed.’ So he raised his finger to the heavens and praised Allah, and then passed away – may Allah have mercy on him.’”

{Poetry}

8 They are a generation characterized by noble deeds, For those who have a mark of resolve strive and take risks You see them as their herald calls, “Onwards to war!” So they offered their souls eagerly in battle, walking with a swagger And what will your books benefit you, O scholar If you your deeds are lost [because you don’t act on your knowledge] and they don’t live up to your words By sword, courage, the defense of creed, And preparation for battle, the religion flourishes

And let all those waging war against the Khilafah state know that it will continue to carry out what it has threatened its enemies with, for our swords have not become worn yet, by Allah’s grace, and the battles have only just begun.

And the sons of Islam have not plunged into the midst of this vast, deep sea except that they have conviction in what keeps them firmly anchored and have certainty that they are coming closer to attaining the blessings of both the worldly life and the Hereafter, and one who takes this plunge will not attain loss. The result will only be one of two good outcomes, one of two noble ends, either victory or shahadah – a life of honor, not a life of humiliation, a life of defiance, not a life of subservience and begging.\

And indeed, the one who looks today will see – due to Allah’s grace and then due to the steadfastness of the sons and supporters of the Khilafah – that America, the one-time sole world leader, is living a daydream and wishfully thinking that she will wipe out the Islamic State, having forgotten or turned a blind eye to the condition she now finds herself in with respect to her rival nations as well as who in reality has triumphed. Who is it that has lost their position as a leader and pioneer, with the winds of politics no longer blowing in their favor? Here you are today, O master of evil, wandering aimlessly and stumbling about in pursuit of a scattered array of goals. Your will is no longer respected, so you’ve begun to sweet-talk your supposed opponents, conform to their desires, and accept all manner of solutions, and you do not find the strength to engage them in direct conflict. And your talk of curtailing Safawi influence in the region wasn’t so long ago, and it is the best proof of that. Indeed, the misery that has afflicted you today is due to your abject economic weakness, which has caused you to abandon the policies you claim to adhere to as well as the civil manner in which you deal your allies, for you are no longer shy about openly extorting your friends from yesterday and today in front of the entire world. You even make your continued presence in Sham dependent on their unconditional support – either that, or they can sort out their problems themselves. Do you think that your bombardment of the criminal Nusayri regime that is fighting Ahlus-Sunnah will subdue the Russians or change the equation in any way, or that it will make everyone forget your crimes against Ahlus-Sunnah in Iraq and Sham? Ghoutah and Douma are but a single episode in a story whose chapters have not ceased to narrate the suffering of Ahlus-Sunnah, and your bombardment of the regime is nothing more than a distraction, the belittling of the people’s intellects, and the feigning of an imaginary conflict so that you can safeguard some of your interests with the tawaghit of the region from among the murtaddin of Ahlus-Sunnah. You are the one who handed the territories of Ahlus-Sunnah over to the Majusi state of Iran. Your naval fleets and aerial

9 squadrons escort the Rafidi Safawi mobilizations in Iraq and facilitate for them the plundering of the lands of Ahlus-Sunnah. In fact, Iran’s militant arm, the Rafidi Hizb al-Lat has become, is suddenly being lauded for its deeds and for what it has done to Ahlus-Sunnah in Sham, and the Rafidi gangs and militias in Iraq are taking up important positions, and their abuse of and transgression against the areas belonging to Ahlus-Sunnah is being praised, even as the wounds of Ahlus-Sunnah have yet to heal and their tears have yet to dry following the coming of an invader who gave them tidings of subjugation, misery, a war against their religion, and the looting of their resources. So of what victory do these ones speak? What victory do you speak of, O America, when the mujahidin – by Allah’s grace – enjoy loftiness and superiority, strength and might, a farsighted perspective, unity within their ranks, and a condition that is better than the one from which you fled in Iraq several years ago defeated and humiliated, following which only a few years passed before Allah caused His mujahid slaves to conquer the cities and countryside, and enriched them through His grace? So what victory do you speak of when you, today, are coming and going from one country to another, courting the love of some nations and sweet-talking others after your bitter rival and enemy, Crusader Russia, regained its position of leadership? Russia didn’t enjoy her supposed victory in the land of battles (i.e. Sham), and desperately attempted – with the help of a phony show of warm reception – to portray itself, even if only in the media, as a savior of its Nusayri partners in Sham, after having employed a scorchedearth policy with the cities and towns of Ahlus-Sunnah in an excessive exhibition of strength. And that spectacle did not appeal to you, O America, nor did the image that the uncouth Russian disbeliever wanted to present to the world, as if to say, “I’m back at the forefront.” So you were incapacitated by his cunningness, and the clumsy idiot in the White House could do nothing other than to sign off with his pen before the entire world, declaring Quds () to be the capital of the Jewish state, thereby spoiling his Russian opponent’s victory reception and drawing the world’s attention away from him. But you angered the scum who believe you possess the ability to bring benefit and harm [just as Allah does], and today, you seek to hasten a matter that you will not achieve, so desist from it and go back to the other side of the ocean! What do you have to do with the mujahidin and the lands of the Muslims? Take a lesson from what has preceded, for the rational-minded individual is the one who does not try what has already been tried. And indeed, Allah’s promise of consolidation in the land for His pious, mujahid slaves is closer. Furthermore, is this recognition of yours [concerning Quds] of any benefit as it concerns the affair? Even if you were to come with all of your planes, aircraft carriers, experts, and advisers to the land of the night journey and the first of the two qiblas in order to protect the Jews [it would be of no benefit], for the army of Islam has an appointment with them that they will not miss. It is a promise, by the Lord of Muhammad , so be patient, O our people in the land of the Prophet’s night journey. Be patient, for by Allah, we have not forgotten you. Indeed, your brothers in the Khilafah state do not fight the nations of kufr, except that they are filled with grief and sorrow on account of being distracted from confronting the Jews by their preoccupation with repelling the enemy’s attacks and removing the borders of humiliation and disgrace that have shackled the people of Islam. And the perseverance and steadfastness of the armies of the Khilafah in Sinai and their repelling of one campaign after another is nothing but evidence and proof of their truthfulness, and indeed, tomorrow is not far off. So what victory do you speak of, O America? The sons of the Muslims from all corners of the earth are giving bay’ah to the Khilafah and supporting it in droves, hoping to be part of the foundation that upholds and elevates its structure. In fact, the soldiers of the Khilafah in Iraq,

10 Sham, Yemen, Khurasan, Sinai, Libya, West Africa, Somalia, the Philippines, and Tunisia continue to battle and defeat your agents and your soldiers in a jihad that Allah loves and is pleased with, and that will not cease until ‘Isa Ibn Maryam descends to act as a fair judge. And indeed, the nightmare whose horrific episodes you tasted will not be brought to an end by a false dream, nor by a formidable amount of air cover, for indeed, what’s coming – by Allah’s permission – will be worse and more bitter.

And who are you, O soldier of the Khilafah, that more than 70 nations should gather to wage war against you!

Who are you, O soldier of the Khilafah, that conferences should be held and alliances should be forged because of you!

Who are you for the uncouth American, Russian, European, westerner, and easterner to embark upon fighting and waging war against you!

Who are you that you should be bombed with the Mother of All Bombs and with white phosphorus, and be targeted with everything that they’ve banned and criminalized!

Who are you that you should be shunned by the scum of the Ummah, even to the point that they stand with the Ummah’s enemy to wage war against you, and yet, you do not turn away from supporting your religion!

Who are you that their immoral media should make an uproar over a pile of stones that have no life while remaining completely silent, and staring gloomily as the lands of Ahlus-Sunnah are destroyed and demolished on top of its residents, their sanctities being violated and their souls being extinguished under the pretext of fighting and waging war against you!

Who are you, O soldier of the Khilafah, that you should be described, at times, as a heretic, and at times, as a treacherous agent, and at times, as a Khariji, and at times, as a , and at times, as an atheist, with the apostate scholars becoming confused as to how to describe or defame you, and yet with all that, you plunge into the midst of death in defense of your ummah and your religion!

Who are you – how good you are, and may Allah reward you! Remember who you are in so that you recognize Allah’s favor upon you, and give thanks for this blessing by remaining steadfast upon your religion and upon waging jihad against His enemies, for you are upon the truth. O Allah, preserve for the soldiers of the Khilafah their hijrah, and do not let them turn back on their heels.

And indeed, the Khilafah State – ever since its origin and declaration – has given the Ummah glad tidings of jihad, killing, and fighting for the cause of Allah, and has not promised and given the Ummah false hopes of attaining the dunya. It established the religion, revived wala and bara, and left the constraints of factionalism and organizations in favor of the expanse of khilafah. Thus, it returned to the Jama’ah of the Muslims its prestige and awe before mankind. And if not

11 for that, the tawaghit of the East and the West would not have gathered against it, and the nations of the world would not have waged against it. The truthful mujahidin gave bay’ah to Amirul-Muminin, Abu Bakr al-Husayni al-Qurashi al-Baghdadi – may Allah safeguard him – as the Khalifah of the Muslims, and with that declaration, the conflict with the people of kufr took a new shape that differed from every jihad that had preceded in our era. That was the tawfiq of Allah, the Exalted, for the mujahidin in Iraq and Sham. So the Imam is a shield – as the Prophet said – “behind whom one fights and through whom one protects himself” (Reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim). And with that, there comes to an end the evil that takes shape in the form of differing and which the people of treachery, plotting, and betrayal exploit so that the sons of Islam remain divided into various factions, parties, and groups. So with the declaration of the Khilafah, the bonds of iman-based brotherhood returned – by Allah’s grace – and the meaning of one body was achieved in this ummah among the sons of Islam across varying regions. So you see the muwahhid who was unable to march forth and make hijrah to the land of Islam, and who resides among the mushrikin – Jews, Crusaders, and murtaddin – fighting in support of his religion based on insight with regards to his affair after having clarified to those who see him what exactly he is fighting for in the hopes of being killed [as a martyr].

Until our swords were broken everywhere From battling armored fighters

Therefore, O soldiers of tawhid in the Islamic State, indeed it is the Khilafah – the pride of the Muslims and the rage of the disbelievers – so praise Allah for having given you the honor of raising its banner and defending it. And indeed, we consider those of you who have remained to be like those who have preceded from among the best of you, so continue towards a new conquest, towards a glorious victory. And indeed, a generation that has been nurtured upon tawhid, has experienced wala and bara as a living reality, and has tasted the honor of jihad and the sweetness of sacrificing for the sake of Allah is a generation in which we place our hopes and on which we depend on – after first depending on Allah, the Mighty and Sublime – for the rise of Islam in this era. And today, you are witnessing the battles in Iraq, Sham, and elsewhere, so show Allah from yourselves that which is good

And no land has ever become protected or had its people attain honor Except with spears and cavalry (i.e. by waging war)

And indeed, the sons of Islam – by Allah’s ability and strength – have an appointment soon with the Rafidi-Safawi enemies of Allah and their apostate agents who are falsely attributed to Ahlus-Sunnah, for the war has not laid down its burdens, and the lions of the Khilafah – by Allah’s grace, are proceeding in accordance with their desires and their plans. They are masters of war and the subjugators of the nations of kufr, so let not any lowly coward think that he will take pleasure in any form of aggression towards the mujahidin and their women, for by the one who moved the clouds, built the seven strong heavens, and scattered the multitudes of

12 disbelievers throughout all the valleys when the conquest came, your hands and legs will be severed, your souls will be extracted from your bodies, and your corpses will be cast into their graves, for neither have we weakened nor have we become cowardly. We are the grandsons of as-Siddiq and Ibn al-Walid, and we will revive his sunnah with regards to those from among the rabble who’ve apostatized and become hostile towards the Muslims. So listen to us and comprehend, O Rafidah of Iraq and Majus of Iran, for by Allah, by Allah, your world will become constrained due to the rotting stench of your dead, and the Dijlah and Furat rivers will be contaminated by the blood of your dead. And indeed, for every pure, chaste Muslim woman led to the gallows of death, you will have that which will tear your hearts and bloody your days.

O igniters of war in the land of the two rivers and the cradle of the Khilafah, O men of the Islamic State and defenders of the religion, do not leave a security, military, economic, or media branch belonging to the Rafidi government without turning it into nothing more than a trace of what it was. And do not leave any rotten, apostate tribal leader without eliminating him, nor a village waging war [against us] without turning it into an example for those who would take heed and a lesson for every insolent and deluded individual, for they are the ones who offered themselves as servants and slaves to the Rafidah, and as vigilant eyes, standing between the mujahidin and their enemy. And eradicate the callers to fitnah and deviance who counseled one another and pledged among one another to alter the people’s creed, including the imams, preachers, Rafidi clerics, professors, and teachers. Do not be taken by any pity or compassion for them when it comes to Allah’s religion, for they are criminal and heretical murtaddin who tame the people into being submissive towards the Rafidah. Split the heads of all the murtaddin who harm the muwahhid slaves of Allah, even if they were at one point part of the caravan of the mujahidin, and accept the repentance of those who repent before they are subdued. Be good to those who gave shelter and support, and who upheld their pledges and did not betray their agreements with the Muslims. Grant them aid and support, give them from the wealth that Allah has bestowed upon you, and be humble towards them.

O Ahlus-Sunnah in Iraq, Sham, and all other lands, know that you have no one – after Allah – other than the soldiers of the Khilafah in the Islamic State, so shelter and support them, and aid them against all others. And we give notice that the government of the Iranian Rafidi Mobilization in Iraq will be holding what they refer to as elections, so anyone who works to establish them by providing aid and assistance is a patron of the elections and its people, and his ruling is the same as the ruling on those who call to the elections and those who support them. And those who are nominated for the elections are callers to rububiyyah and uluhiyyah, and those who vote for them have taken them as lords and partners besides Allah, and their ruling in the religion of Allah is that they have disbelieved and left Islam. So we warn you, O Ahlus-Sunnah in Iraq, against supporting these people who have not left a single door to apostasy except that they’ve entered through it. And indeed, the voting centers and those present within them are a target for our swords, so stay far away from them and avoid getting close to them. And as for those of you who are stingy with your souls and who cling to the earth, refusing to support the state of the Muslims and the refuge of Ahlus-Sunnah, let them remain in their homes and busy themselves with their personal affairs, and let them not aid and support the Rafidi mushrikin and their apostate agents who are attributed to Ahlus-Sunnah.

13 O soldiers and supporters of the Khilafah everywhere, know that today we are passing through a new phase and are making a sharp turn on the path of waging jihad against a malicious enemy that hopes control of the lands of the Muslims and inherit what was left for him by America, after the mujahidin exhausted her with their operations and battles against her for nearly two decades. So she has begun to retreat, not turning to look back [as she flees], all the while seeing her allies shunning her, and being incapable of keeping the Russians and the Majusi state of Iran in check. So make these two a target in your operations and your jihad so that the Majus and the Russians behind them taste a sample of the fires of their tyranny and their burning of the territories of Ahlus-Sunnah in Iraq and Sham. So make preparations for this war, and take provision for it, and indeed the best of provision is taqwa. Then, proceed forward having certainty in Allah’s promise and victory. Maintain your obedience, preserve the Jama’ah, and beware of differing, for indeed, it is the worst thing you could be afflicted with and it is more detrimental to you than a sharp sword. Tend to your needs while concealing them, and put all your energy and effort into scouting targets and discovering the enemy’s weak points. Beware of the spy that is near you – phone devices – for they are what guides the arrowhead. Take all the means that will facilitate for you the punishment and massacre of your enemy, for the American Crusaders have now deemed favorable that which will lead to their destruction – with Allah’s permission – and have dared to come down to the ground from time to time. So let not any one of you miss out on his share of [the battle against] them now that they’ve entered your arena. Always remember that the victory, as Ibnul-Qayyim stated, is not built except upon five things which our Lord has mentioned in His statement, “O you who have believed, when you encounter a company [from the enemy forces], be steadfast and remember Allah much, that perhaps you may be successful. And obey Allah and His Messenger and do not quarrel and thus lose courage and have your strength depart. And be patient. Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient” (Al-Anfal 45-46). In this ayah, Allah commanded the mujahidin with five things that were never found gathered in any company except that it was granted victory, even if they were few and their enemies were great in number. The first of them is steadfastness, the second is to make much remembrance of Him, the Glorified and Exalted, the third is to obey Him and obey His Messenger, the fourth is to have unity and to not take to quarreling, which brings about weakness and the loss of courage, and quarreling is a means by which those involved are actually strengthening their enemy against themselves, for by being united they are like a bundle of arrows that no one is able to break, and if they become separated and each one of [the arrows] is on its own, they will all be easily broken. As for the fifth, which is the basis and foundation of all that, it is patience. These are five things upon which victory is built. If either all of them or some of them are lost, a portion of victory is lost in accordance with what is lacking from among these five things, and if they are all present, they strengthen one another and have a major impact on attaining victory. When these things were present with the Sahabah, none of the nations could stand before them. They conquered the dunya, and the slaves [of Allah] and the various lands yielded to them. And when these things were weakened and lost among those who came after them, the situation became what it became, and it is Allah whose help we seek on upon whom we rely. He is sufficient for us and is the best disposer of affairs, and there is no might or ability except through Allah, the Greatest, the Most High. And our final call is, “All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the creation.” pietervanostaeyen/pietervanostaeyen.wordpress.com
