Der ist auf dem Titelbild der anonymen Satire „Il Teatro alla moda“ auf den Opernbetrieb Venedigs zu sehen. 1720 erschienen und bald als eine Schrift des Adeligen und Komponisten Benedetto Marcello enttarnt. Gemünzt auf das Teatro Sant’ Angelo und einen gewissen Aldiviva, jenen geigenden Engel. Niemand anders als Antonio Vivaldi natürlich. Ob’s nun eine Ehre war, als Zielscheibe von Marcellos Gespött ausgewählt worden zu sein, weil Vivaldi zu dieser Zeit so erfolgreich war oder doch eher ein ernst gemeinter Angriff, weil Marcellos Familie das Grundstück gehörte, auf dem das Teatro Sant’ Angelo erbaut worden war und es da schon einige Zeit Streitigkeiten gab. He was born in Treviso and received a diploma in Early Music from Basel’s Schola Cantorum little mountain gathering of houses, where time has stopped.
