FC Bayern München have arranged to hold an Open Day on the day after tomorrow – Wednesday 16 May. This will begin with an open training session at the Säbenerstrasse complex followed, at 11.30, by a reception and briefing by FC Bayern’s Chief Press Officer, Markus Hörwick, in the “Sporttreff” club restaurant. At 12.00 Ottmar Hitzfeld and the FC Bayern squad will share lunch with media representatives. There will be opportunities for interviews and, on request, interpreters can be provided to help with German - Spanish translations. TV interviews will be conducted separately from written press and radio interviews. Media representatives who wish to attend are requested to notify the FC Bayern press office as urgently as possible (and on Tuesday 15 May at the latest) by fax to +49+ 89 644 200, stating the name of the media, the number of reporters attending and the nature of the media (written press, TV, radio, internet or photographer). In addition, FC Bayern have confirmed that their pre-final international Press Conference in Milan will take place at 13.00 on Tuesday 22 May at the L’Osteria del Treno Restaurant located at via San Gregorio 46-48. This will feature Ottmar Hitzfeld, club captain Stefan Effenberg and Bixente Lizarazu. FC Bayern have also reserved a very limited number of observer seats for Spanish reporters who wish to see their final Bundesliga match in Hamburg on Saturday 19 May. Anyone interested should contact the FC Bayern Press Office as soon as possible. Their opponents in the UEFA Champions League final, Valencia CF, have also decided to stage their Open Day on Wednesday 16 May. Héctor Cúper’s squad will train at the Paterna complex at 10.30 and media activities will start at approximately 12.00 or 12.30. The Spanish club has also confirmed that Héctor Cúper’s pre-final Press Conference will take place at 11.15 on Tuesday 22 May in the Giuseppe Meazza stadium.
