They also try to find out their strength and weaknesses with a view to focus on their developmental needs in the years ahead. The same also is true of individuals, organizations, institutions and those entrusted with leadership positions. Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi clocked four years in office as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri on the 3rd of June 2018. In these past four years, the University experienced tremendous infrastructural, academic and administrative developments which is attributable to the outcome of advocacy visits he undertook with his management team immediately he assumed the mantle of leadership of the University on 3rd June 2014. This edition of the University Bulletin presents to you these monumental infrastructural development of Professor Njodi's administration in the last four years. Amongst these are the New Senate Building, Senate Chambers, NLNG Laboratories, Professors' Quarters etc. These and others can be said to what led to his being awarded the National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) Award by the President and Commander-in-Chief, Muhammadu Buhari GCON. He was born on 22nd August 1991 and hailed from Shani Local Government Council Borno State. He joined the services of the University on 28th April 2014. He is survived by his parents, brothers and sisters.

HALIMA AHMADU: Until her death she was a Cleaner in the Centre for Research and Innovation of the University. She died on 17th November 2017. She was born on 12th December 1985 and hailed from Madagali Local Government Council, Adamawa State. She joined the services of the University on 1st August 2016. She is survived by her husband and children.

AMINATU MOHAMMED: Until her death she was a Hall Supervisor in the Aisha Muhammadu Buhari Hall, Students' Affairs Division of the University. She died on 15th December 2017. She was born on 25th April 1965 and hailed from Hong Local Government Council Adamawa State. She joined the services of the University on 26th January 1987. She is survived by her husband and Children.
