See heartmindspace.com Also provide research, editing and writing services to individuals and organizations on a project-basis. 2009 - 2018: Providence Veterans Administration Medical Center, Providence, RI and Ocean State Research Institute, Providence, RI (2012-2016) Provided qualitative analysis and writing to multi-year, multi-site mixed methodology studies of the advanced upper limb prosthetic DEKA Arm: “VA Study to Optimize the DEKA Arm” and “Home Study of an Advanced Upper Limb Prosthesis.” Co-authored numerous reports, case studies, and journal articles with PI Dr. Linda Resnik regarding prosthetic usability and experience of users. 2009: The Commonwealth Fund, New York, NY Researched and co-authored case study of a union-employer partnership/demonstration project that implemented point-of-care electronic medical records in 20 New York City area nursing homes. 2007-2008: RI Department of Health, Providence, RI via Adil Business Systems Managed the Individualized Care Pilot, an innovative project to promote resident-centered care in nursing homes via the mandated federal annual survey process. Collaborated with national experts and local partners; designed and wrote final products for national dissemination; co-produced video. presented at Pioneer Network conference; analyzed and reported data from 51 RI nursing homes. 2006: Diabetes Association Inc., Fall River, MA Evaluated programs; wrote reports; facilitated organizational strategic planning; co-wrote successful multi-year grant proposal; helped design a workplace diabetes prevention program. 2003-2006: The Providence Center Early Childhood Institute, Providence, RI Implemented multi-year federal grant to improve mental health and social-emotional development in children at risk, ages 0-6. Managed project activities and budget; designed educational programs for Spanish-speaking childcare providers; supervised bilingual staff; conducted home visits with parents; coordinated clinical services; collected and analyzed data; wrote manual describing the project. 2003: RI Health Center Association, Community Access Program, Providence, RI Designed and conducted qualitative study of the unmet health care needs of uninsured Rhode Islanders, including key informant interviews, focus groups, and analysis; wrote final report. 1999-2002: Hope High School, Providence, RI Coordinated strategic planning and implementation of redesign of a large urban high school into smaller learning communities. Facilitated teams of teachers, administrators, students, and community members and provided technical assistance to them.
