Majka ga zna pod imenom Elliot John Gleave, ima 29 godina odrastao je na živopisnim ulicama londonskog fudbalski ponosnog kraja Fulama. Prva dva albuma donela su mu status nezvaničnog gradskog heroja, dok mu je treći album Playing in the Shadows doneo i svetsku slavu. Kažu da beatz je najbolji primer da hip-hop može da osvoji savremenu elektronsku scenu, a plan mu je da posle arena i festivala uz grmljavinu gitara izađe na stadione. Mi ga znamo pod urban imenom Example, kao vlasnika ultimativnih hitova Changed The Way You Kiss Me, Kickstarts, Stay Awake i Won’t Go Quietly, te mnogih drugih koje će nam uživo predstaviti 27. juna na velikoj bini Belgrade Calling festivala. Posle dva uzastopna prva mesta na britanskoj top listi, stotina miliona pregleda na YouTubeu i preko milion fanova na Facebooku, pitali smo ga da li je i dalje onaj isti dečko koji obećava... "Volim da mislim da jesam i kažu mi da se nisam promenio, samo sad gruvam pred većom ekipom od one iz mog kraja" - odgovara uz osmeh. "Desi mi se i da me provociraju u komentarima na Internetu, ali dosta opušteno reagujem na sve to. Ljudi me slušaju, dobro se provode uz moju muziku i to mi je najbitnije. Ako me i previše puštaju na radiju ili žurkama, nije problem, jer uskoro izbacujem i nove pesme. Najbolja stvar u svemu što mi se dešava su putovanja po celom svetu, a sad konačno dolazim i u Srbiju!" Koji su najbolji bendovi sa kojima si delio binu? Bez sumnje to su bili Faithless! Imali smo zajedničku turneju po Britaniji i meni je pripala čast da nastupam pre njih. Oni su mi najveći uzor kako iskreno postići tu euforiju. Trudim se da sa svojim bendom postignem nešto slično, jer kad vidite kako svi sa vama odskaču od zemlje, shvatite da nema nazad, to je to! Video sam da ću u Beogradu nastupiti na istoj bini sa Public Enemy i Orbital, pa to je neverovatno, neko mi ispunjava snove! Šta voliš da slušaš u slobodne vreme, na turneji? Odnedavno me najviše inspirišu Pink Floyd i The Who, u njihovom pristupu muzici tražim inspiraciju za sledeći album. Kasabian imaju tu neverovatnu silu u narednih par godina ciljam nastupe svojim pesmama, Nirvana je uvek tu, na stadionima i velikim festivalima. a uz Stonse sam odrastao uz ćaleta. Ovog leta sa bendom sviram na Rock Groove tražim u old school hip-hopu, am Ring, V Festivalu, T in the Park, Isle of ali poslušam ponešto novijeg datuma. Wight i naravno Belgrade Calling! With music festivals in particular, there is an additional emphasis on the chance to experience live music by often idolised musicians within a temporary community of shared musical interests. However, whilst a music festival may attract visitors through advertising an attractive and appealing line-up of popular acts, this far from guarantees a happy customer. There are many other elements that contribute to and impact upon the experience of the festival-goer (Morgan, 2008: 83). If these elements are managed well, this can result in benefits for both the consumer, through positive emotional and cognitive experiences, and for the organisation through repeat custom, recommendations and increased sales.

    It was back in 2004 when Miss Connie and producer/DJ Angus McDonald started making beautiful music together. A series of singles at first then, in 2006, their self-titled, 3 x platinum debut album. Spearheaded by a spectacular salvo of chart topping hits – UFO, Pictures and I Love It – Sneaky Sound System won ARIA Awards for Breakthrough Artist and Best Dance Release, the first of 14 nominations to-date. Second long-player and #1 album 2 arrived in 2008 with yet more dancefloor slayers in the form of Kansas City, When We Were Young and the #1 UK club smash It’s Not My Problem. In 2009 I Will Be Here, a collaboration with Dutch superstar DJ Tiesto, took Sneaky to the top of both the US dance airplay and UK club charts. In late 2011 album number three, From Here To Anywhere, arrived, the title referencing its creation in hotel suites, planes, and studios around the world from here (Sydney) to just about everywhere (London, Paris, Ibiza, Moscow). Accolades from critics around the world flowed: MTV called it “an incredible effort”, Rave magazine Brisbane deemed it “a minor pop masterpiece”, and Sydney’s Daily Telegraph said it’s “a delicious feast of world class dance-pop songs”.
