Broadcast messages Jed Stone ‘Tex Tucker’ - Chairman of TPS - Saturday Morning Supporters Club The Supporters fully appreciate the management need to ‘network’ while on holiday but would appreciate clarification on the Chairperson’s reference to – and I quote- ‘building on strong foundations.’ Are the management aware that the weight of the ‘ state-of-the-art renovation of the Chairman's Lounge’, which overlooks the pitch, has compromised the east stand and an independent survey has stated that it is likely to collapse. Fortunately, if this does happen it will land on the ‘cop canteen’ and solve the ‘Bovrilla.’ problem!! 3. Apprentices discovered None. 4. League results Rosedale Premiership Match day 11 ================================== Erkrath Gladiators - Currents of Space 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Speaker-to-animals (90.), Jason dinAlt (69.) Booked: Christoph ***Evan Orgell An even game, but where Currents of Space had an end of game rush to score two goals and win it. Botanica - Magical World 4 : 5 Scorers: Vinca Minor (16., 59.), Rubus Caesius (71.), Senecio (79.) ***Lyril (45., 52.), Sam (2., 90.), Zhanai (35.) Botanica were the far stronger team here, and were also unbeaten at home before this game. However, Magical World got very lucky and won. Enga - Ubermenschen 1 : 2 Scorers: Haavard Nielsen (36.) ***Marx (47., 75.) Booked: Aleksander Solli, Mos ***--- Another even game, and the third away win out of three games this issue. It is a great result for Ubermenschen, who put good pressure on the two teams ahead now. Fjortoft's Friends - FC Asskickers 2 : 1 Scorers: Seppl (27.), Wild Webbi (56.) ***Eddie Guerrero (29.) Booked: Fantastic Fanis, Grabi, Iron-Maik ***--- After ten league games without defeat, FC Asskickers finally lose in game eleven against Fjortoft's Friends. The home team were a little bit stronger too. Serial Killers - St. Helens 0 : 0 Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: Yang Xinhai ***comeoneverybody A slight upper hand to the visitors, but the draw was the fairest outcome of this one. Formula 1 Legends - Feyenoord 3 : 3 Scorers: Fernando Alonso (32., 48., 58.) ***Henk Wery (13., 76.), Adriaan Koonings (83.) Formula 1 Legends should probably have picked a different strategy for this game, but Michael Frenzel was nice to Helli and allowed him one point :) Rosedale Premiership Match day 12 ================================== Erkrath Gladiators - Botanica 0 : 0 While Erkrath Gladiators are one of the strongest teams in the Premiership away so far, they struggle to win much at home for some reason. Currents of Space - Enga 3 : 0 Scorers: Teela Brown (29., 86.), Adzel (78.) ***--- Sent off: --- ***Juan Fuenmayor (59.) Booked: --- ***Kac, Mohamed Sayyed Tantawi, Nicolai Naess Currents of Space claim the table top against 10 men towards the end. Of course, their win wasn't all that threatened before the red card either. Magical World - Fjortoft's Friends 1 : 4 Scorers: --- ***Sonny (60., 66., 82.), Fantastic Fanis (24.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Alex, Iron-Maik Fjortoft's Friends had the better strategy and got an upper hand that they converted into a big win. Ubermenschen - Serial Killers 1 : 1 Scorers: Borchert (23.) ***--- Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Heidegger ***Peter Stumpp Ubermenschen had a solid play advantage in this game, but after allowing a penalty against, they only get one point. Still, their medal chances were clearly consolidated this weekend. FC Asskickers - Formula 1 Legends 1 : 0 Scorers: Shawn Michaels (85.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Gerhard Berger The fans in the stands probably expected this to end goallessly as the end drew near, but Shawn Michaels secured two points for the home side five minutes before the end. St. Helens - Feyenoord 1 : 3 Scorers: notagainstformula1 (26.) ***Adriaan Koonings (15., 66.), No Name 3 (41.) Booked: howcanidothis, newinpremiership, notagainstformula1 ***--- The better strategy from Feyenoord and thus a fairly deserved away win. The Championship Match day 11 ============================== Kremlin - Love Songs 1 : 0 Scorers: Ludmilla Patina (83.) ***--- Sent off: --- ***Cry (38.) Booked: --- ***In the ghetto Kremlin were clearly the stronger team here, especially after the red card. Still unbeaten at home after five matches! Fantasy Finale - Dummys 3 : 0 Scorers: Jagersmann (23., 60.), Adolin (31.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Koos A slight advantage for the table toppers was turned into a solid win. Tough for Dummys' chances of winning the division, but there's plenty of time left to close the gap that just increased from two to four points. Night Owls - Call of Cthulhu 2 : 1 Scorers: Barfly (74.), Saw-whet Owl (18.) ***The Strange House in the Mist (79.) Booked: --- ***He, Imprisoned with the Pharaohs Call of Cthulhu actually managed a tiny play advantage in this match, but didn't score until the home side was up by two and could never quite close the lead. Slartibartfast FC - Chicken Run 1 : 2 Scorers: Garkbit (27.) ***Pope Benedict (24.), Hellboy (9.) Booked: --- ***Ann Kristin A strong win for Chicken Run. Can they return straight to the Premiership despite the bad luck last round? Stars - WrapUp 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***All for you (34.), On Tour (5.) Stars had the upper hand in this game, but WrapUp were far more efficient and thus claimed both points. Desassossego Blues - ENPS 4 : 0 Scorers: Thomas Crosse (6., 27.), Alvaro de Campos (79.), Bernando Soares (44.) ***--- Booked: Alexander Search, Chevalier de Pas ***--- Only two league points separated these teams before today's match, but it didn't seem that way. Clearly, the Blues are looking like a Premiership side now! The Championship Match day 12 ============================== Kremlin - Fantasy Finale 0 : 0 Kremlin were the better team here, but couldn't score and thus only got one point. Still, that's not a bad result against the table toppers. Love Songs - Night Owls 0 : 0 A strong game from Love Songs, but they failed to score and thus only a goalless draw. Dummys - Slartibartfast FC 3 : 1 Scorers: Koos (79., 88.), Jaap (60.) ***Deep Thought (14.) Dummys win and narrow the gap back from four to three to the table top. Nice try by Slartibartfast, though, who were clearly closer than the scoreline indicates and actually held the lead for half the match. Call of Cthulhu - Stars 3 : 3 Scorers: The Very Old Folk (76.), The Silver Key (73.), Imprisoned with the Pharaohs (71.) ***Pollux (60.), Regulus (57.) Penalties: - ***1 Booked: He ***Algol This really isn't Call of Cthulhu's season, is it? They outplayed Stars well here, but somehow received three goals and only got a draw. Chicken Run - Desassossego Blues 4 : 1 Scorers: Lisa (19., 27.), Doro Pesch (48., 68.) ***Ricardo Reis (84.) Booked: Sina ***Ricardo Reis Fifth home win for Chicken run, this time against one of the very top teams. Looks promising for them! WrapUp - ENPS 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Marco Wielemakers (76.), Bas Jonkers (56.) WrapUp had a slight upper hand in this game, but when the goals finally came, it was ENPS who scored them both. Division 1 Match day 11 ======================== Dead Dino Storage - Dirigentia con Brio 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***V Aszkenazy (55.), Davis (68.) Booked: Brown ***--- A solid away win for Dirigentia con Brio against a Dead Dino Storage side weakened by suspensions. ForEverton - Ergodic Theorems 1 : 1 Scorers: Jack Rodwell (28.) ***Knuth (61.) Booked: Marouane Fellaini ***--- ForEverton were a little bit stronger here, but Ergodic Theorems managed to equalise in the second half and claim a point. the Professors of Jazz - Lake Tanganyika 0 : 5 Scorers: --- ***Goudvis (7., 54.), Bifranatus (86.), Neolamprologus (63.) Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Dave Brubeck ***--- Lake Tanganyika have yet to draw this season, and the Blue Notes didn't really come close to changing that. Stadium Dreams - Madmartigan City 0 : 0 Booked: --- ***Caca Yawn. Valiant City - Twin Peaks Owls 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***The Giant (89.) Booked: Spandy Sprinter ***--- Despite chances for both teams, it was only in the 89th minute that the first goal came. The Giant secured Twin Peaks Owls another away win and kept them nicely on track for promotion. Tamriel Athletic - Queen 0 : 0 Penalties: - ***- (1 missed) A missed penalty was the highlight of this match, and a deserved point for each team. Division 1 Match day 12 ======================== Dead Dino Storage - ForEverton 0 : 2 Scorers: --- ***Shane Duffy (40.), Sylvain Distin (28.) Booked: Agent of Mercy, Big Big Train ***Marouane Fellaini, Sylvain Distin ForEverton scored both goals in this game, but they were both against the run of play. Dirigentia con Brio - the Professors of Jazz 4 : 0 Scorers: Stokowski (52., 71.), Davis (17.), V Aszkenazy (6.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Bud Powell A musical derby, where the conductors proved to have better organization than the jazzers. Ergodic Theorems - Stadium Dreams 1 : 0 Scorers: Reidemeister (7.) ***--- Wow. One shot on goal in the game, and it's a goal. Lake Tanganyika - Valiant City 2 : 0 Scorers: Calvus (79.), Goudvis (51.) ***--- The home side didn't get started until the second half, but then played a solid game and scored twice for a comfortable win.

Broadcast messages Ian Moes, Saturday Morning FC: «The board of SMFC takes issue with the recent statements from the Supporters Club. The suggestion that we will only spend money on fancy foreign names is completely incorrect. Why only last week we signed an overrated, over-the-hill English player just like the supporters want. Mike the Knight would even rival England's Brave John Terry for pure Englishness. As for criticism of the lack of spending on The Park, well Mr Stone should check his facts. Just this summer we carried out a state-of-the-art renovation of the Chairman's Lounge, that now provides a level of service and luxury that is as good as any in the League System.

Fortunately, with our lack of involvement in the Cup means less match days, so the odds of such an 'occurrence' resulting in a loss of life are only 1 in 14 - and that does not even take into account the propensity for our supporters to leave early. We believe by encouraging continued poor showings from the team, supporters will be further discouraged from staying on til the fulltime whistle, further decreasing the likelihood of any "catastrophe".

  • AMANBAGH Excursions Feb 2019
AMANBAGH Excursions Bhangarh Twelve kilometres from Amanbagh, the wonderful, intriguing ruined city of Bhangarh is a medieval site of great archaeological – and folkloric – importance, its splendid ruins widely believed to be haunted. Built in the late 1500s by Jaipur royal Diwan Madho Singh – younger brother of Maharaja Man Singh, Akbar the Great's general – this now uninhabited city once teemed with magnificent bazaars, a palace, gardens, temples and bathing pools. Legend has it that, a generation after its completion, it was deserted overnight after being cursed by an evil court magician, Selu Sewra, who had unsuccessfully attempted to seduce Bhangarh’s virtuous and beautiful queen. Today Bhangarh is a National Heritage Site and though it is often hailed as one of India's top-ten sites, very few tourists manage to include it in their itinerary. Mornings and late afternoons are a perfect time to visit this deserted city – an amazing setting for photography, meditation and yoga. We can organise visits to Bhangarh, either to tour the ruins or to practise yoga on one of the temple platforms at dawn with a vegetarian breakfast. Transport is via car or jeep; alternatively, you could combine trekking with Bhangarh as your final destination. It is also a favourite winter location for lunchtime picnics. Ajabgarh village, fort, temple and mosque Ajabgarh’s finest attractions are its fort and its old temple. Dedicated to Shri Raghunathji, the temple was built in 1635, and features a 24-pillar open courtyard and a marble façade. This temple once housed idols of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, bejewelled with precious stones that fell victim to thieves some time ago.
