Broadcast messages Ian Moes, Saturday Morning FC: «The board of SMFC concurs with the findings of the independent survey referenced by Mr Tucker, it is indeed likely that the east stand will fall down. Fortunately, with our lack of involvement in the Cup means less match days, so the odds of such an 'occurrence' resulting in a loss of life are only 1 in 14 - and that does not even take into account the propensity for our supporters to leave early. We believe by encouraging continued poor showings from the team, supporters will be further discouraged from staying on til the fulltime whistle, further decreasing the likelihood of any "catastrophe". The collapse of the east stand is in fact important to the Club's plans. It will represent a significant cost saving in our development of a state-of-the-art shopping mall in place of the existing east stand. The west stand and ends will continue to cater to the traditional match goer that likes to sit and watch the game, but we strongly believe that there is an untapped market of match goers who would much rather shop that watch 'Pingu once again hoof it up the pitch for Peppa Pig to chase in vain.' Furthermore, this development will give us the opportunity to address a longheld complaint from teh supporters club. All food court outlets will be required to stock both Bovril and Bovrilla (noting that many match-goers have gotten used to the fake stuff).» Jed Stone: «Extracts from Minutes of – Saturday Morning Supporters Club – Wednesday 30th May ‘The meeting requests that the ‘Chair’ pass on their congratulations, to the team, for their win against the ‘Insomniacs’….. Following the win, the mystery as to why the Management bought fourteen wheelbarrows at the start of the season, was finally solved. After a ‘private celebration party’ the ground staff were seen using the wheelbarrows, to safely remove the drunken directors from the Chairman’s Lounge to their waiting chauffer driven cars! They knew the team would eventually manage a win and planned ahead!!!» 3. Apprentices discovered None. 4. League results Rosedale Premiership Match day 13 ================================== Erkrath Gladiators - Formula 1 Legends 5 : 0 Scorers: Coco (19., 29., 55., 69.), Raffael (81.) ***--- Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- (1 missed) Booked: Axel ***Gerhard Berger An easy win for the Lunatics, that seemed even easier than it was by the scoreline. Serial Killers - Feyenoord 2 : 3 Scorers: Arthur Shawcross (40.), Peter Stumpp (28.) ***Adriaan Koonings (39.), No Name 1 (26.), Bertus Bul (87.) Booked: --- ***Adriaan Koonings Feyenoord challenge the top three with a fine away win. Fjortoft's Friends - St. Helens 0 : 0 Booked: --- ***Gervasio Guedes The home team managed somewhat of an upper hand, but the visitors saved themselves one point. Enga - FC Asskickers 1 : 3 Scorers: Haavard Nielsen (33.) ***John Cena (17.), Shawn Michaels (10.), McCloud (55.) Booked: Fegor Ogude, Haavard Nielsen, Marcus Pedersen ***--- Enga fought hard and got a lot closer to points that way, but not close enough. Botanica - Ubermenschen 1 : 0 Scorers: Oxalis fontana (56.) ***--- Booked: --- ***Kafka A practically exactly even game, but Botanica scored on one of their chances and Ubermenschen didn't, so it's a home win. Currents of Space - Magical World 2 : 0 Scorers: Adzel (31., 51.) ***--- Table toppers Currents of Space storm ahead with another home win, keeping their challenges at arm's length. Rosedale Premiership Match day 14 ================================== Magical World - Erkrath Gladiators 1 : 2 Scorers: Namo (28.) ***Raffael (2., 31.) Booked: --- ***Axel A close match, but Erkrath managed to edge out the one extra goal they needed to win it. Ubermenschen - Currents of Space 2 : 1 Scorers: Mann (16., 83.) ***Jermaine Beckford (37.) Booked: --- ***Adzel, Speaker-to-animals The definite top match of the round, and it was even and exciting like one would expect. Mann gave the home team the lead early, but Jermaine Beckford put in an equaliser before the break. It was the visitors who had a small advantage, but it was Ubermenschen who got the points when Mann scored again just before full time. FC Asskickers - Botanica 2 : 1 Scorers: Shawn Michaels (59.), Sting (81.) ***Oxalis fontana (33.) FC Asskickers have been very strong at home this season, and so also here, though Botanica could've escaped with one point. St. Helens - Enga 1 : 0 Penalties: 1 (1 missed) ***- (1 missed) Sent off: --- ***Mohamed Fellah (4.) Booked: Gervasio Guedes ***Andreas Nordvik, Mohamed Sayyed Tantawi, Nicolai Naess Wow. Although the home team had a clear domination in play, neither side managed to score from normal play and it was only through converting a penalty that St. Helens managed to win. Feyenoord - Fjortoft's Friends 1 : 1 Scorers: Bertus Bul (3.) ***Holz (1.) Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Sent off: --- ***Fantastic Fanis (87.) Right from kickoff, the teams scored one goal each, and neither managed to score any more, not even Feyenoord on their penalty. So one point for both clubs. Formula 1 Legends - Serial Killers 3 : 3 Scorers: Michael Schuhmacher (19.), Lewis Hamilton (14.), Damon Hill (79.) *** Gong Runbo (33., 56.), Ivan Milat (13.) Booked: Gerhard Berger, Michael Schuhmacher ***--- Formula 1 Legends had clear control of this game, and their visitors were quite lucky to score three goals and snatch a point. The Championship Match day 13 ============================== Kremlin - Desassossego Blues 3 : 4 Scorers: Vaccination (7., 56.), Leonid Bungaloff (79.) ***Thomas Crosse (44., 84.), Vicente Guedes (3., 12.) Sent off: --- ***Pero Botelho (44.) Kremlin were unbeaten at home up until this game, and were clearly stronger here too. However, luck sided with the Blues this time, and they take a big step towards the Premiership with this result. Stars - ENPS 2 : 1 Scorers: Mira (6.), Castor (88.) ***Kees Bakker (71.) Stars were stronger here, but it seemed like ENPS would get a point with their late equaliser. However, right before the end, Castor made sure Stars got both their rightful points, which currently brings them up on par with third place in this very even series. Slartibartfast FC - WrapUp 0 : 1 Scorers: --- ***All for you (74.) Booked: Mrs Kapelsen ***--- A rather even game, but WrapUp managed somewhat of a play advantage that they successfully turned into a win. Shooting training for Slartibartfast FC who missed more than ten chances! Night Owls - Chicken Run 3 : 1 Scorers: Barfly (14., 38., 60.) ***Doro Pesch (77.) Booked: --- ***Lena Wow. Chicken Run hit the bad luck again, losing by two in a match where they were actually the stronger team. Fantasy Finale - Call of Cthulhu 5 : 3 Scorers: Jagersmann (10., 83.), Dox (46.), Adolin (68.), Frodo (31.) ***The Very Old Folk (25.), The Silver Key (56.), The Loved Dead (46.) Sent off: --- ***The Very Old Folk (89.) Booked: --- ***The Loved Dead, The Rats in the Walls, The Silver Key Fantasy Finale keeps their undefeated home record despite receiving three goals here, as they somehow managed to score five! They were the stronger team too, but Call of Cthulhu put up a good fight. Love Songs - Dummys 1 : 1 Scorers: --- ***Fred (25.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: Love Hurts ***Adze Dummys had a solid upper hand in this game, but Love Songs saved one point on a penalty. The Championship Match day 14 ============================== Dummys - Kremlin 5 : 5 Scorers: Jaap (12., 13.), Siem (34.), Kip (27.), Koos (43.) ***Leonid Bungaloff (32., 90.), Plato (51., 76.), Ludmilla Patina (20.) Booked: --- ***Vaccination Again Dummys were the better team, and again they had to settle for a draw. At least they keep their undefeated-at-home record! Call of Cthulhu - Love Songs 0 : 0 Booked: --- ***I just died in your arms, Love Hurts, Only the good die young A slight upper hand to the home side in this table neighbour matchup, but since neither managed to score, a goalless draw it is. Chicken Run - Fantasy Finale 1 : 0 Scorers: Doro Pesch (34.) ***--- Booked: Daenerys ***--- Chicken Run recovers from the bad luck by pulling off a great win against the table toppers. WrapUp - Night Owls 2 : 0 Penalties: 2 (1 missed) ***- Booked: I need your help, Keep pushing ***Nighthawk, Northern Grey Owl, Northern Hawk Owl Neither team managed to score from normal play in this Springer derby, but WrapUp got three(!) penalties and scored on two of them. ENPS - Slartibartfast FC 1 : 1 Scorers: Marco Wielemakers (31.) ***Garkbit (8.) Booked: --- ***Deep Thought Slartibartfast FC got off to the best start, but ENPS managed to equalise after just over half an hour. And it has to be said, if the away win had materialised, that would've been a robbery. Desassossego Blues - Stars 1 : 1 Scorers: Thomas Crosse (12.) ***Adnan Haidar (47.) It's the first home draw for the Blues this season, and after what happened at Enga, it's good to see that Adnan Haidar finally is a true star! Division 1 Match day 13 ======================== Dead Dino Storage - Tamriel Athletic 2 : 1 Scorers: John Lees (15., 67.) ***Dura gra-Agum (4.) One of the key games for Dead Dino Storage, as they are in the relegation zone and Tamriel Athletic are one of the teams within range on safe ground.
