All rights reserved PREFACE To enhance the safety of participants and spectators at IMSA sanctioned automobile races and to provide for the orderly con­ duct of events requires adherence to these rules, the IMSA CODE, hereinafter set forth. All IMSA license holders and members agree to comply with these IMSA rules, as they may be amended from time to time, which rules, as interpreted by IMSA, gov­ ern the conduct and organization of all IMSA sanctioned events. The 1990 IMSA CODE supersedes all previous editions of the IMSA CODE as well as all amendments thereto, and shall remain in force and effect except as provided herein, imtil super­ seded by publication of the next edition of the IMSA CODE. FOREWORD Each effort that culmliiates with a spray of champagne In victory circle begins by opening the IMSA CODE. While rules, by nature, tend to establish boundrles, the goal of these regulations Is to provide a viable framework for realizing Individual and team achievement. For all participants, the 1990 IMSA CODE lays the foundation for the organization and conduct of IMSA-sancüoned events. The 1990 IMSA CODE takes effect Immediately upon publication and consists of three main sections. The opening articles address partlelpant and event procedures and set appropriate guidelines for the safe and uniform operation of the sport. These articles weave a thread of consistency dating back to the earliest days of IMSA and closely parallel International regulations. The heart of the IMSA CODE Is the car preparation section with articles for each of the various IMSA categories of race cars. Always the subject of discussion, these vehicle regulations strive to serve the dual fimctlon of providing a level playing field while also encouraging wide and varied participa­ tion. Stability has been the keynote of IMSA regulations. The IMSA CODE comes with the standing suppllmen- tary regulations which provide speelflc Information about each of IMSA’s racing series and championships. I encourage all IMSA members to read and familiarize themselves with the IMSA CODE so that together we may continue a twenty year tradition of putting on the most promo- table, rewarding and enjoyable events. CONTROL OF COMPETITION 1.1 International Control The Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) is the authority which establishes and govems certain intemational rules for automobiles, standards for the organization of automobile competi­ tions and specific regulations for world championship series of compe­ titions. FIA has published the Intemational Sporting Code for these purposes. Except as provided in Article 12 of the IMSA CODE. FIA is the final international court of appeal for disputes arising out of FIA- listed events. 1.2 National Control The Automobile Competition Committee for the United States, FIA (ACCUS) is recognized by FIA as the National Sporting Authority (ASN) for the United States. ACCUS, FIA 1500 Skokie Blvd. Northbrook, IL 60062 (708) 272-0090 ACCUS is therefore the sole authority which oversees international automobile competitions in the U.S.A., its territories cind protectorates. ACCUS is in tum composed of representatives of its six member clubs and a number of individuals. The member clubs of ACCUS are; -Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc.

    Laurel Racing Camaro History The story of the Laurel Racing 1970 Camaro begins in 1968. In 1968 and 1969, Laurel Racing successfully campaigned a 1968 Camaro in Trans Am, A Sedan, and endurance races. As a result of this success, in 1970, Chevrolet Product Performance offered to support Laurel Racing’s effort in Chevrolet’s new “second generation” Camaro. Chevrolet had achieved great success in the Trans Am series with its first generation Camaro. When the second generation Camaro was introduced, the “Win on Sunday. Sell on Monday” philosophy led Chevrolet to offer its top performing teams new second generation Camaros. Based on this commitment, Larry Drover, owner of Laurel Racing offered his 1968 Camaro for sale. To sell his “first generation” Camaro, Larry placed a classified ad in Autoweek. The text of Larry’s advertisement read: Trans Am Camaro. Very competitive. Full roll cage, 1969 engine, all new suspension, mags, all possible factory options, extra wheels, 4 gear ratios, extra engine if desired. Preparing 1970 automobile.     2017 FIA CENTRAL EUROPEAN ZONE CHAMPIONSHIPS (REGULATIONS, CALENDAR) CEZ Championship Regulations 2017 vers20170214 Page 1 of 21 2017 FIA CENTRAL EUROPEAN ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP Art.1 General Conditions 1.1 General Provisions According to article 23-B-4 of the FIA Statutes the World Council (for Karting the CIK/FIA) accepted a Central European Zone. The Zone will be made up of the following countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia- Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia and Slovakia (to be mentioned as Zone-Countries). In 2017 there will be announced Zone-Championships in Autocross, Circuit Racing (also for historic cars), Endurance, Cross-Country, Hill-Climb (also for historic cars), Karting, Rally (also for historic cars), Rallycross and Slalom, reserved for drivers holding a valid national or international licence issued by one of the ASNs belonging to the zone. The starting permission for abroad is not obligatory. The Zone-Championship-events are listed in Art. 14. For every discipline a maximum of 14 events will be listed in the calendar (one per member-ASN). The final decision about the number of events counting to the Championship will be taken by the board of the FIA-CEZ-countries. If not all ASNs enter events for a Championship, the Zone-board will decide upon the events to fill up to the max. number of 14, respecting the following: • If ASNs enter only events for a max. of 2 disciplines, the board may accept one additional event from these ASNs in these discipline-Championships. • If there are less than 10 events entered then all ASNs may forward a 2nd event for that Championship – following the CEZ-board will finally decide which of these events will be accepted to a max.
