Andrei Lvovich DANILENKO biography Early life Andrey Lvovich Danilenko was born on April 6, 1967 in the City of San Francisco, California, USA, in a family of Russian emigrants to parents Lev Alexeevich Danilenko (born in 1943) and Polina Leonidovna Garb (born in 1948). His father is a Doctor of Philosophy and his mother is a Doctor of History. Andrey has a younger brother Grigoriy Danilenko, who works as a cameraman-editor for CNN. Since 1989 Andrey Danilenko has been permanently living in Russia. Education In June 1995 Andrey Danilenko graduated from the Moscow State University with MA in history and political science. His second education he received in 2004 in St. Petersburg Academy of Law and Business, department of Business Management. The same year he graduated from the professional development program "Strategic management of agribusiness companies (corporations)” organized by the Academy of the National Economy under the Government of Russian Federation. Career From 1986 to 1989 Andrey Danilenko led Russian language courses in the US-Russian Institute in San Francisco. At the same time he worked as a coordinator at the Center for US-Russian initiatives on exchange programs. From 1989 to 1992 he worked as an international director at the Moscow City Hospital № 17 that dealt with the establishment of cooperation between the U.S. and the European Organizations for the prevention and treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. In 1990 he founded and became the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the first Center for prevention and treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction in Russia - "Recovery". In November 1993, he created and headed the Foundation "Russian Farms" – a production and training center aimed at educating Russian farmers about new technologies and methods of agriculture. In 1997 Andrey Danilenko reorganized the Foundation into the group of companies “Russian Farms” and became its president. As the president of the “Russian Farms” group of companies Andrey Danilenko has managed several large-scale livestock projects, including LLC “Dmitrovskiye dairy farms” in Moscow region (600 cows, 5 thousand tons of milk per year) that are also owned by him, agroindustrial farm LLC “Selo Voroshilovo" in Stavropol Territory (1800 cows, with 13 thousand tons of milk per year), JSC "Belgorod Dairy farms” in Belgorod region (6000 cows, 50 thousand tons of milk per year). At present the Group of Companies "Russian Farms" together with LLC "Russian dairy company” are working on a project in Penza region on two agroindustrial farms in Kuznetsk district (1000 cows, 9 thousand tons of milk per year) and Narovchatskiy district (3000 head dairy cattle, 25 thousand tons of milk per year). Also the Group of Companies "Russian Farms" owns a cheese factory with processing capacity of 20 tons of milk per day / 3 tons of end product per day, based in LLC “Dmitrovskiye dairy farms” in Moscow region that makes products under the brand name "Villaggio". At present the range of cheeses are presented by the following types: "Mozzarella dining", "Mozzarella Pizza", "Ricotta", "Mascarpone", etc. In 2008 Andrey Danilenko became a Chairman of the National dairy producers union of Russia (SOUZMOLOKO) - a nonprofit organization created by milk producers in order to ensure cost-effective conditions for milk production, timely information to members of the Union on the situation in the dairy industry, promotion of quality and efficiency of milk production in Russia, as well as protecting the interests of Union members at state and municipal authorities, public and international organizations. On the 3d of March, 2010 Andrey Danilenko, under the National dairy producers union, organized the 1st Russian Congress of milk producers. The main subjects discussed at the Congress were: stabilization of the Russian dairy market and measures to stimulate the development of the industry in 2010 - 2012, as well as government measures to support the dairy industry, the system SOYUZMOLOKO interaction with the regional unions and associations. In March 2009 Andrey Danilenko became a member of the Agrarian industry sector committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Rotary Club Andrei Danilenko is actively involved in Rotary activity in Russia and internationally. Interests Andrey Danilenko is a licensed skipper and pilot. He’s also a multiple winner of the U.S. national championships in karate in the heavyweight division. From 1990 to 1992 he worked as the coach in The Marital Arts Academy in the USA and since 1993 headed the Russian branch of the Academy..
