This unit uses acoustic field effects and sound decoders to bring you the impact of a real movie theater or concert hall. These effects will be brought to you with ideal speaker positioning and connections in your listening environment.

You can adjust the surround back speaker volume with a volume control of the external amplifier. To obtain the balanced sound during playback, set the speaker output characteristics in advance using the YPAO (Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimizer) or “Speaker Setup” of the Setup menu SPEAKERS (☞p. 23).
