CSW Women and Feminist Friendly Graduate Programs

The following table of data was compiled over the past year and updated to its current form. Its content reflects the voluntary responses of faculty in response to a general call for information from CSW to various groups reflective of .

The CSW understands “women- and feminist-friendly” to mean “programs that are supportive of women in the profession, programs in which women do the bulk of their work in feminist and gender topics, or programs with women who don't necessarily specialize in gender-related or feminist topics, but are feminists or women positive.”

This list is offered as a service in response to general requests for information by and about women in the profession, and in response to specific requests for practical information about graduate programs for women considering graduate study in philosophy.

Please note that this list is not exhaustive of women- and feminist-friendly programs. Omission from this list is not indicative of anything.

If you would like to have your program listed, or if any of the information is incorrect, please send information corresponding to the columns in the table to Christina Bellon [email protected]. This table will be updated periodically.

Current as of May, 2005.
