We will need to secure additional funding for the defibrillator in which Trispen Post Office and Stores have also agreed to sponsor. Please contact the clerk for further information. A39 TRISPEN ROAD RENEWAL Mr Andy Stevenson (Cornwall Council) kindly attended our Annual Parish meeting which was held on Monday 21st March 2016 and gave an update on the works and the funding that had been received. Mr Stevenson was also able to answer questions from the members of the public present. The works are continuing between Trispen and Buckshead, Truro and access will therefore be from Carland Cross during this time. Cormac are currently running on schedule with works due to be finished in May. They are working from Sunday evenings through to Thursday evenings and the road closures are between 7.00pm and 6.00am Need more Information? This has been advertised by Cornwall Council in the West Briton and in the parish noticeboards. A copy of the application is available to view at Trispen Stores which includes a copy of the application letter with a map and a statement that explains how the parish council area meets the conditions of Section 61G(2) of the Town and Country Planning Act (1990) amended by the Localism Act 2011. A copy can also be viewed on Cornwall Council’s Planning register at www.cornwall.gov.uk . The planning application no PA16/00004/NDP We are nearly ready for our next consultation stage where you will look at the main responses from the first consultation survey and prioritise the statements from each section. Please look out for details on the next consultation and please come along to have your say, we cannot produce this important document without you. We have a Facebook page set up ‘St Erme Parish Neighbourhood Plan’ which will be updated on a regular basis and there is further information on the council’s website www.stermeparishcouncil.org.uk . Please contact the clerk Sally Trethewey on 07525130663 or at [email protected] Trispen Hill / Eglos Road Development We held a public meeting on 5th April 2016 to gauge public opinion on Planning Application PA16/01962: Application for outline planning permission with all matters reserved for 85 new dwellings of mixed tenure and a new highway access 67 members of the public turned out to ask questions and put across their views and opinions. CAD Architects were also in attendance to answer any questions. The members of the council are due to discuss and consider their response to the application at an extraordinary meeting to be held on 25th April 2016. Occasionally there may be extra meetings when required due to planning application deadlines or any urgent business that may arise and the venues of these meetings may be different, please check on the agenda.
