As you know from our video announcements, there was a Western theme this year- "Wanted By God". The campers learned about each person of the Holy Trinity throughout the week and each day included Mass, a snack, a skit relating to each day's lesson presented by our teen volunteers, games and crafts relating to each day's lesson and music. We concluded the week with a "Water Day", one of my personally favorite parts, which included water games on Archangel's Field, popsicles and a special visit by the West Metro Fire Department who gave us a fire safety lesson and sprayed the campers with water from the fire truck! I would like to especially thank: 1. Our staff team that put so much creativity, effort, and care into the week. 2. All of our teen and adult volunteers who were amazing throughout the week! 3. The West Metro Fire Department 4. "Scenographics", which is a company owned and operated by our LOTW parishioner Dave Barnes, who provided the awesome props and western themed decorations for the week free of charge 5. Guiseppe's Italian Restaurant, owned and operated by the family of Federica Salzano who is a LOTW parishioner, for donating the delicious food for our volunteer "Thank You Luncheon". 6. Texas Roadhouse Restaurant at Riverpoint for donating the "Free Kid's Meal" coupons for the campers The kids really enjoyed themselves, and I hope more and more families will take advantage of this great summer opportunity! -Fr. Matt . 3 Parish Events lotw.org/events We are blessed to be members of a thriving archdiocese! However, in order to maintain this vitality, the ongoing sacrifices from the faithful are imperative.
