Baptiste Search & Rescue UPDATE

424 Squadron Tigers experienced a low number of Search and Rescue calls this past week, however the Squadron personnel were kept busy with much-needed SAR training.

RCC received an ELT signal, located in the vicinity of Stratford, Ontario, on June 15. The Hercules SAR crew was tasked to locate the source, but by the time the crew arrived on scene, the ELT signal had been located at the Stratford Airport. The crew then ascertained that the ELT source was turned off, before returning to base.

Until next week, stay safe.
