Dave Peck School of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Mechanic: Advanced, 1978

Dave is the owner of Peck Brothers Automotive in Thornhill and lisa McNee Baker  Uxbridge. He always had an interest in cars. At the age of 21, Dave was the owner of a gas station with a two-bay garage, and had one technician working for him and his brother, who was a partner in the business. Dave realized that he would need proper training to run the business, and so he enrolled at Centennial College. In 1974, Peck Brothers purchased a Shell four-bay gas station in Uxbridge. Dave also became a licensed independent dealer of used cars. He later acquired Enco Auto Trim and Glass, which he combined with the Thornhill business to make it a one-stop shop: automotive trim and glass, mechanical repair and service station, and used-car sales. Dave has built a successful business through his ambition, hard work, talent, and great customer service.
