RIGHTS GUIDE 2020 METAICHMIO Publications is considered one of the most important publishing houses in Greece. Its course in the Greek publishing market has proven to be very successful and today its strong presence in the overall market is ensured. METAICHMIO Publications publishes more than 250 titles each year across all genres, about half of which are children’s books: picture books & children’s fiction, translated & Greek original titles. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Alison Falkonakis is a British writer who lived for many years in the town of Leonidio in Arcadia. Alison has been shortlisted for the prestigious Bridport Prize for her poetry and her children’s books in Greek were awarded the Public Award. Alison also made the White Ravens list of 2015, amongst the rec- ommended reading list for the whole world. She lives in the island of Lesvos half of the time, where she volunteers in refugee relief.
