Under normal traffic conditions expect a journey of approximately 20 minutes from the A1, 90 minutes from the M6 or 60 minutes from Skipton. From the A1 Coming from the north or south, exit at Junction 51 (Northallerton/Bedale A684). Take the exit A684 Bedale. Follow the two-way road as it runs parallel to the motorway. At the next roundabout turn right (past the services/McDonalds on your left). At the junction, turn left and join the A684 towards Bedale.Once on the A684, the journey is approximately 20 minutes from here. Follow the road through Aiskew crossing the railway line into Bedale. Come to a T-junction and turn right which takes you through Bedale market place and out of the town. Continue on the A684 through Crakehall, Patrick Brompton and Constable Burton. You will come to some traffic lights over a narrow railway bridge. Please ensure you pull right up to the line at the lights to trigger the sensor. Then continue on through Harmby where you will see the Pheasant Inn on your right. Continue on the A684 for 1/2 mile and after 2 open fields, the first building as you come into Leyburn on your right is Tennants. From the M6 Take Junction 37 from the M6 and follow the A684 east through Sedbergh, Garsdale Head, Appersett, Hawes and into Bainbridge.
