This Itinerary Is Not Valid As a Ticket
Last updated: 21.06.2021 This is a “Travel like the locals” tour. The tours use public transport, i.e. regular buses, ferries and boats, but we have done the planning for you so that you can concentrate on enjoying your trip. You travel on your own - there is no guide or tour leader. On most of our tours you must change several times between different buses/ferries/boats, and it is up to you to make sure you catch your connections – truly travelling like a local! (The tours are set up so that the buses, ferries and boats connect.) Round trip Sogndal – Nigardsbreen Sogndal-Gaupne-Breheimsenteret-Nigardsbreen-Breheimsenteret-Gaupne-Sogndal This trip goes from Sogndal to Jostedalen, with Breheimsenteret glacier center and the Nigardsbreen glacier. In Jostedalen you come close to the glacier and the mighty landscape in the national park. On the way to Jostedalen, the bus drives along the quiet, beautiful Lustrafjord, which is approx. 40 kilometers long. The fjord is surrounded by high and steep mountains, and from the moutains several high waterfalls end up in the fjord. The most famous waterfall is the Feigefossen. Along the route, the bus passes a number of small fjord communities like Hafslo, Solvorn and Marifjøra. From Gaupne the bus drives through the spectacular Jostedalen valley. At Breheimsenteret glacier center you will find a tourist information, a lunch restaurant and you can learn about the Jostedalsbreen glacier and the national park, and about glaciology and the climate. Jostedalsbreen glacier is the larges glacier on the European mainland and it covers 500 square kilometers. -

JOSTEDALSBREEN Forma Av Is Og Vatn 2° 3° Jostedalsbreen Nasjonalpark Jostedalsbreen Nasjonalpark
Bruk Og Vern Av Jostedalsbreen Nasjonalpark Og Nigardsbreen Naturreservat Som Turistattraksjon”
