3 June – Corpus Christi The Ven Alan Jeans We give thanks for the Institution of the Holy Communion, on this Feast of Corpus Christi – for the sustaining and nourishing presence of Jesus Christ in the Sacrament; and for the feeding through the Word in our discipleship. 24 June – Birth of John the Baptist Woodford Valley with Archers Gate, Stonehenge Deanery Clergy: Mike Perry. We would ask for prayer for our school at Woodford, and in particular for pupils who will be preparing, by God’s Grace, for confirmation on 23 June. Prayer for our Messy Church community - we have found it difficult to keep in touch and connected during the pandemic and we hope we can reconnect this year. 27 June – Fourth Sunday after Trinity Salisbury Plain Stonehenge Deanery Clergy: Eleanor Rance, David Walters, Stéphane Javelle. We give thanks for God's call and for all who have felt able to answer, especially during the past year of such change and turmoil. We pray for all who are to be ordained during these weeks, & for our community as we begin to reflect on moving forward within a new and - at times- very alien landscape.
