1. These Rules may be cited as the Register of Gibraltarians Rules.

Form of register.

2. The register shall be maintained by the registrar in the form set out in Schedule 1.

Certificate of registration.

3. The registrar shall supply, on being so required, to any person whose name is entered in the register, a certificate of registration, in the form set out in Schedule 2 and certified in the manner specified therein.

Copy of entry.

4. The register shall supply to any person, on being so requested, a copy of an entry in the register, in the form set out in Schedule 3 and certified in the manner specified therein.

Search of register.

5. The register shall be open to inspection, upon prior payment of the fee prescribed by rule 9, by any person.

Application to register under section 5.

6. (1) Any application made to the registrar under section 5 of the Act shall set out such facts as are necessary to enable the registrar to determine whether or not the applicant is entitled to be registered under section 5 of the Act.

(2) Any application made to the registrar under section 5 of the Act may be made either by the person applying for Registration or by any other person on his behalf.

Registrar may call for evidence.

7. The registrar may call for further evidence (whether by way of statutory declaration or otherwise) as he thinks fit in connection with any application for registration.

Refusal to register.

The registrar shall, if he refuses to register any person who has applied to 1962.06.07-2 be registered under section 6 of the Act, forthwith notify such person of his refusal in writing.

Fees.

9.(1) The several fees set out in Schedule 4 shall be charged for the purposes to which they relate.

(2) The Registrar may reduce or remit any of such fees in cases of hardship.

FEES.

Rule 9

FEES £ 1. For every certificate of registration (in the form set out in 10.00 Schedule 2). 2. For every copy of an entry (in the form set out in Schedule 10.00 3). 3. For a general search of the indices or any registers of the 30.00 births or deaths per day or part thereof. 4. Handling fee on an order for a copy or copies of any entry 10.00 in a register of Gibraltarians which is to be sent abroad through the post.
