En continuant la D110, on accède au col de Taurize, d’où les vues sur la vallée sont superbes. En redescendant de l’autre côté du col, on passe à Molières-sur-l’Alberte. Prenez le temps de vous garer sur la départementale pour visiter le plus petit hameau de France, dont les berges ont été magnifiquement aménagées. Quelques kilomètres plus loin, ne ratez pas l’embranchement qui part sur la gauche de la route. Suivez la piste forestière jusqu’à l’abbaye de Rieunette, nichée au fond de la forêt, habitée par quelques sœurs. 2 Labastide-en-Val, plateau de Lacamp , Labastide-en-Val est un village partagé en deux par le ruisseau de l’Alzou. Remarquer le pont romain jouxtant l'église. Continuer la D114 sur 1 kilomètre. Prendre la première piste sur votre gauche. Celle-ci vous mène à un petit plan d’eau où il fait bon pique-niquer ou se baigner. -

COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES C0M(93) 304 final Brussels, 28 July 1993 Proposal for a COUNCIL DECISION concerning the conclusion and signature of an Agreement between the European Economic Community and Australia on trade in wine mtffimmm (presented by the Commission) -• • '•* • - -1 - Explanatory Memorandum By Decision of 14 December 1992, the Council authorized the Commission to commence negotiations with Australia with a view to concluding a bilateral agreement between the EEC and Australia on trade in wine, with the objective of facilitating and promoting trade in wine between the community and Australia. 2. The negotiations, conducted by the Commission on the basis of the guidelines laid down by the Council, resulted in an Agreement based on the principles of non-discrimination and reciprocity. The main features of the Agreement are as follows : (a) Mutual recognition of oenological practices and requirements concerning the analytical composition of wines: Recognition takes account of the particular conditions in which wine is produced by the two contracting parties. The Agreement provides for a procedure whereby the list of mutually recognized oenological practices can be extended or restricted, particularly to take account of scientific progress or in the interests of public health; (b) Reciprocal protection of wine names: Protection includes not only geographical indications (and appellations of origin), but also traditional expressions used to describe a particular quality or type of wine. Under the Agreement, Australia formally undertakes to refrain from using, in Australia and on its export markets, all those Community geographical names which it has to date considered as generic or semi-generic. -

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY ON TRADE IN WINE USA/CE/en 1 The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, hereafter "the United States", and • The EUROPEAN COMMUNITY, hereafter "the Community", hereafter referred to jointly as "the Parties", RECOGNIZING that the Parties desire to establish closer links in the wine sector, DETERMINED to foster the development of trade in wine within the framework of increased mutual understanding, RESOLVED to provide a harmonious environment for addressing wine trade issues between the Parties, HAVE AGREED AS FOLLOWS: USA/CE/en 2 • TITLE I INITIAL PROVISIONS ARTICLE 1 Objectives The objectives of this Agreement are: (a) to facilitate trade in wine between the Parties and to improve cooperation in the development and enhance the transparency of regulations affecting such trade; (b) to lay the foundation, as the first phase, for broad agreement on trade in wine between the Parties; and (c) to provide a framework for continued negotiations in the wine sector. USA/CE/en 3 ARTICLE 2 • Definitions For the purposes of this Agreement: (a) "wine-making practice" means a process, treatment, technique or material used to produce wine; (b) "COLA" means a Certificate of Label Approval or a Certificate of Exemption from Label Approval that results from an approved Application for and Certification/Exemption of Label/Bottle Approval, as required under U.S. federal laws and regulations and issued by the U.S. Government that includes a set of all labels approved to be firmly affixed to a bottle of wine; (c) "originating" when used in conjunction with the name of one of the Parties in respect of wine imported into the territory of the other Party means the wine has been produced in accordance with either Party's laws, regulations and requirements from grapes wholly obtained in the territory of the Party concerned; (d) "WTO Agreement" means the Marrakesh Agreement establishing the World Trade Organization, done on 15 April 1994.
