Bradford Stations Masterplan Bradford Stations Masterplan Bradford Property Forum 17th June 2014 Key Drivers • Create a high quality station gateways for a major city centre. • Improve the visibility and connectivity of the stations within the wider city centre. • Provide better connectivity at the stations between different transport modes (e.g. bus, train, coach, taxi, airport and car parks). • Strategic approach to delivery of wayfinding (e.g. real time displays). • Take into account current and future passenger and operator capacity requirements. • Identify opportunities for new development within the adjoining the stations (including commercial and community provision). RAIL SERVICES TO BARNSLEY - NORTHERN RAIL Barnsley Interchange is a modern transport hub located just a 15 minute walk from Oakwell. The station is served by trains running between Leeds, Huddersfield and Sheffield. From the interchange, turn left and away from the town centre and head towards and then under the bridge that the dual carriageway runs across. Once under the bridge, cross the road carefully and turn left up the slip road before taking the first right turn onto Queens Road.
