2009-present Coordinator of Undergraduate Music Education, John J. Cali School of Music, Montclair State University. Coordinate all music education student teaching placements (2 student- teaching blocks – elementary and secondary; fall and spring semester). Coordinate all music education student fieldwork placements (fall and spring semesters). Recruitment. Liaison between John J. Cali School of Music and Montclair State University Center for Pedagogy. Maintain relationships with network and non-network public schools in the area of Montclair State University for possible fieldwork/student teaching placements. Supervise the hiring of Visiting Specialists and Adjuncts for all music education techniques courses (2 levels of woodwind techniques; 2 levels of brass techniques; 2 levels of string techniques; 1 level of percussion techniques). Chair the hiring committee, schedule and conduct interviews of these positions, and make recommendations to the Cali School Director for hire. Monitor music education courses to assure alignment with NASM guidelines. Determine faculty assignments in coordination with the Cali School Director, coordinate searches for additional history faculty when needed and coordinate regular faculty assessment procedures.
