For most skateboarders and in-line skaters skating is not only a sport, but a way of life. Skating is the latest trend and has already become a ubiquitous aspect of our mobile culture. The perfect combination of fun and sport already has more than 17 million fans in Europe. What was once a sporting trend has long become the most popular fitness sport in our towns and cities. Skateboarding is one of the most important sports performed by young people all over the world. The main meeting points for skaters are roads, cycling paths and public squares, so that problems with other road users and pedestrians are to be expected. That is why we have to create zones for our children and young people in which they can satisfy their "thirst for adventure" without becoming a problem for others. We can help you to provide attractive and multifunctional activity zones that correspond exactly with young people's needs. More and more skateboarders, in-line skaters and BMX bikers worldwide enthuse about the skating facilities. Over many years of cooperation with the "skaters" in Europe we have developed products that can stand up to any international comparison. The ratio between the length, breadth and height of the skating facilities are perfectly adapted to one another, thus producing ideal skating conditions. As with all products, the safety aspect is paramount. All products are therefore manufactured according to strict safety standards and fulfil the highest quality standards. Our experienced professional advisers guarantee satisfied customers and users. 1. It all comes down to the surface eibe skating facilities are provided with a specially developed seamless quartz polyester surface. The special quality of the surface results from its composition, which possesses optimum skating properties and meets the highest quality standards: The quartz polyester cover can be produced by us in all RAL colours. The basic colour of the quartz polyester cover is stone. Worn or damaged covers of existing facilities can be re-covered with a quartz polyester coating. The Basic Structure eibe skating facilities have a basic structure made of hot-galvanised steel tube measuring 30 x 30 mm and can be set up on any hard surface (tarmac, concrete etc).We recommend foundations under all transitions. All slides, curbs, rails and grinds consist of galvanised steel tube. eibe skateboard ramps are equipped with side panels made of 1.5 mmthick, hot-galvanised sheet steel, which provides excellent protection against noise and damage by vandals. For all skating facilities we provide a five-year guarantee on the basic structure and quartz polyester cover. The Guarantee and Safety All skating facilities are TÜVinspected and comply with the current DIN 33943/ PAS 35. 3. Sponsoring Have you ever considered getting sponsoring for a skating facility? Finance your skating facilities with s ponsoring and rent out the surface as advertising space! It is no problem to integrate advertising slogans in the quartz polyester coating. Advantages for the Sponsor: The particularly important target-group of 8 to 20-year-olds is constantly reminded of the sponsor's name. The advertising is imprinted in the surface and can therefore not be removed or scratched. BMX riders have more or less the same requirements of skating equipment as in-line skaters. Skateboarders prefer flatter and lower equipmentas the board is not connected firmly with the foot and they are therefore not so stable on the board. They reach speeds of up to 15 mph. •A minimum distance of 2 m should be maintained between the equipment, although this should be increased to up to 3m where the construction height is greater. Rule of thumb: Distance of one quarterpipe to the next street element: min. 3 m, max. construction height x 7. Starting distance without quarterpipe: approx. 10 m. •Distance to residential areas? • Are benches and litter bins required? • Should additional equipment be planned for teenagers, e.g.Teen’s Shelter, Bike racks etc?
