    KATARINA DALAYMAN SOPRANO BIOGRAPHY LONG VERSION Swedish soprano Katarina Dalayman has sustained a long and prestigious international career in the dramatic repertoire and she has enjoyed enduring collaborations with many of today’s foremost conductors. Strong, dramatic interpretations married with impeccable musicianship are her characteristics.     Plant Disease Clinic Annual Report 2019 The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Department of Plant Pathology Diagnosticians: Ansuya Jogi and Jason Brock Extension Specialists: Phillip Brannen, Bhabesh Dutta, Abolfazl Hajihassani, Bob Kemerait, Elizabeth Little, Jonathan Oliver, Alfredo Martinez-Espinoza, Jean Williams-Woodward 2019 PLANT DISEASE CLINICS ANNUAL SUMMARY Extension Plant Pathology maintains plant disease clinics at Athens and Tifton to aid county extension faculty in diagnosing and correcting disease related plant problems. Additionally, a laboratory for analysis for nematodes is maintained at Athens. The Plant Disease Clinic at Athens, operated by Ansuya Jogi, is located in Room 2405 Miller Plant Science Building. Samples analyzed in this clinic include commercial fruit, ornamentals, and turf; Christmas trees and forestry; all homeowner samples; legume forages, small grains, mushroom identification and wood rots. The Plant Disease Clinic at Tifton, operated by Jason Brock, is located in Room 116 of the Horticulture Building. Samples analyzed in this clinic include commercial samples of field crops, grain forages, pecans, and vegetables. Diagnoses and educational recommendations are returned to the county faculty. The clinics maintain a computerized database of samples and their diagnoses through the DDDI system.     FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 27, 2012 Contact: Erika Overturff, (402) 541-6946 IT’S A SEASON OF THREES FOR BALLET NEBRASKA’S SEASON 3 OMAHA -- The dancers of Ballet Nebraska, the region’s only professional dance company, will start work Tuesday on what artistic director Erika Overturff is calling “our season of threes”: the company’s third performance season, featuring three different programs in three different venues, plus a new collaboration with Opera Omaha that will see Ballet Nebraska dancers featured in all three opera productions. “It’s a challenging schedule, but dancers love challenges!” Overturff said. “We’re really excited about being able to bring such a wide spectrum of ballet to so many audiences.” The season will open October 19 and 21 at Joslyn Art Museum’s Witherspoon Concert Hall with Momentum, Ballet Nebraska’s annual “mixed-repertory” program consisting of short ballets in a diverse range of styles. This season’s Momentum program, Overturff said, consists entirely of contemporary works: dances created by currently active present-day choreographers. The all-contemporary program gives the audience a chance to see the wide range of styles that make up today’s ballet vocabulary, Overturff said, and also ties in with Joslyn’s exhibit Under Pressure: Contemporary Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, which will be on view October 6, 2012, through January 6, 2013. In this research, the literary form of the fairy tale is compared with the narrative of the ballet fantastique in two acts. The analytical method of Vladimir Propp’s Morphologie des Màrchens (1975) serves as starting point for an investigation into storytelling and the narrative of the ballet scenario. Until now, narrative analyses have been overlooked by dance analysis. Therefore, the task of this study is to propose the first dramaturgy of the ballet fantastique and, thus, a first independent model of narrative analysis for dance.
