Christian De Portzamparc Christian de portzamparc Continue Worldwide Architecture Visionary Design Innovation has never been more relevant now that cities and communities strive to be smarter, more efficient and more progressive. And while technological advances are critical to functionality, urban designers and designers prioritize the aesthetic element in turn by building a new city face - it's the purpose of buildings to look beautiful, attractive and future proof in the most extravagant way possible. Christian De Portzamparc is one of those designers. Of Moroccan origin, he is one of the most outstanding French architects with well-known ambitious projects around the world. He graduated from the Paris School of Fine Arts in 1969 and founded his Atelier ten years later, where he worked on the introduction of new techniques through years of research and analysis that allowed him to build quality living spaces. In 1994, he became the first French architect to receive the prestigious Pritzker Architectural Prize. Cheval Blanc Winery Owners Chateau Cheval Blanc, Bernard Arnault and Baron Albert Frere have ordered the construction of a new winery to increase their production. The structure has cavas, a cuvier with 52 containers, offices, a tasting room, workshops and more. The project is aimed at unifying the exterior with the interior, facilitating the entrance of light and natural ventilation, and thus optimizing the iconic processes of French winemaking. 2006 - 2011 Saint-Emilion, The flagship of France Dior Atelier paid tribute to Dior in 2015. It was commissioned by French businessman Bernard Arnault to show all the design the house represents. The building, in all its white glory and subtle asymmetry, rises into the sky in the center of Upguzhong Avenue, in the luxurious Seoul District Gangman - home to designer boutiques. Its liquid lines symbolize the elegance of high fashion. 2011 - 2015 Seoul, Korea One57 New York Gary Barnett, president of Extell Development, commissioned this tower in 2005. After careful planning, construction began in 2009, just after the 2008 economic crisis. The 75-year-old tower overlooks Central Park and has a Park Hyatt Hotel as well as luxury apartments. On the southern facade stands out the urban landscape of New York with flashing glass panels, contrasts in two colors. Danish architect Thomas Jul-Hansen was responsible for interior design. 2005 - 2014 New York, USA Suzhou Cultural Center This building is part of the master plan of Wujiang Lakefront, a series of projects Suzhou City covering 100,000 m2. The complex consists of an exhibition center, an opera house, a museum, a conference center, restaurants, cinemas and more. Its dual shape hints at the Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang with a curved design of metal bands that reflect the water surrounding the structure. This is one of Portzamparc's ongoing projects to be completed in 2019. CasArts After completion, CasArts will be the largest theatre in Africa, complementing and enlivening the Mohammed V Square in Casablanca, combining traditional and modern architecture to perfection. The project competed with prestigious names such as zaha Hadid, Frank Gehry and Rem Koolhaas to be named the winner. The design is simply white and covers an area of 24,245 m2. 2009 - 2018 Касабланка, Марокко Текст: Cipriano де Гимарес ± Фото: MARINA VERNIKOU / © TECHNOHULL 2015 / Casarts - ©ATELIER CHRISTIAN DE PORT'AMPARC / ACDP Интервью:Christian de Portzamparc АРКУИТЕКТУРАЦтави Марти 18-11-2005 - 23:00 UTCGENTE Country 09-12-1999 - 23:00 UTCOctavi Марти Париже 24-03-1996 - 23:00 UTCChristian de Portzamparc предлагает объединить современный город и популярный районСтраховь Мадрид 10-05-1994 - 22:00 UTC Кристиан де PortzamparcSural информации Рождение имя Кристиан Урвой де Портзампарц Рождение 5 мая, 1944, 76 лет Касабланка, МароккоСемейная национальностьКоньюге Элизабет де Портзампарк ОбразованиеОбразованиеОбразование в Национальной высшей школе изобразительных искусств в Париже (Бакалавр архитектуры; 1967-1969) Профессиональная информация Arquitecto, урбанист и художник Студия Ателье Кристиан де PortzamparcEmpleador Коллеж де Франс Известные работы Один 57Музео Антуан БурдельПарис Ла Дефанс АренаСити из ArtsTour ГранитЭнлармонический ЛюксембургMus Эрге Distinciones PritzkerWebSitio веб-сайт www.christiandeportzamparc.com «редактировать данные о Викиданных» Кристиан де Портзампарк (Касабланка Morocco, May 5, 1944) is a French architect. In 1994, he was awarded the Pritzker Prize, the world-famous architectural award. Biography Born in Casablanca, in the French protectorate of Morocco, where his father was an army officer. A few months after birth, his family returned to France and settled in Marseille. As a child, Portzampartz was already interested in art. When he once saw Le Corbusier's drawings, his interest in architecture also aroused, although he remained primarily dedicated to painting and design for some time. He began studying architecture in 1962 at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. During his university career, in 1966, doubts awoke in his about architecture. He found his very rigid and conventional discipline, different from what and also differs from the picturesque and sculptural art, which he considered free. He believed that the modernist ideas promoted by Le Corbusier were no longer valid for him, as he could not carry out projects of this style in a much wider and more diverse world. He went to New York, where he lived for nine months in the Greenwich Village area, meeting writers, poets and other artists. In 1969, Portzamparz received his diploma, but he had not yet started working as an architect. He collaborated with a group of sociologists who analyzed the characteristics of the houses, why their tenants chose them to live, the relationship between them and their neighbors, and other similar aspects. The main conclusion he made of this work was that architecture should take on social responsibility. Finally, Portzampark opened its office in 1970 and received its first commission the following year, the water tower in Marne la Welle. The tower is inspired by the Tower of Babel and is a monumental structure at the crossroads, where it serves as a visual center in all directions. City of Music (1984-1995), Paris 03 Then he designed a set of apartments in Paris. From there, his work grew in intensity and amplitude. After being a finalist for two major projects in the United States, the Chicago Museum of Modern Art and the Omaha Museum of Art, he was commissioned to design the LMVH Tower (Louis Vuitton M'et Chandon) in New York. He also gained a reputation in Japan as a result of apartment buildings he made in Fukuoka and Bandai Tower in Tokyo. Portzamparz was awarded the Pritzker Prize in 1994, the most world-renowned architectural prize comparable to the Nobel Prize. His wife is Brazilian and a well-known furniture designer. The plan is administered by EPAD (Public Installation Authority of La Defens), an organization created by local governments, government and neighbors focused on the development of La Defense for the benefit of its 20,000 residents and 150,000 residents in the floating population. The upgrade includes several high-rise sustainable towers. One of these towers, Tour Signal, entered an international closed competition for teams of architects/investors/developers on which EPAD did not impose the site. Thus, candidates could choose their plots either from the number of entrances to the business district (south gate and west gate) or from places to be demolished. The Signal Tour thus endows the business district with a new chapter in 2013.The finalists for this project were Jacques Ferrier Architecture, Foster and Partners Ltd, Studio Libeskind Architect, Ateliers Jean Nouvel and Wilmotte et Associes SA. A few days ago was announced the winner: Ateliers Jean Nouvel, the project is shown in the video above. The citation from the Pritzker jury recognizes his particular strengths by stating that he “has always created architecture that is serious, never flashy or a follower of trends.” The never-flashy-or-trendy message is another indication from these arbiters of design that our infatuation with exotic three-dimensional configurations initiated by Frank Gehry and Zaha Hadid – and emulated by numerous others – may have run its course.

Press Release Pritzker Architecture Prize Ceremony Will Be Held in China Next Year For Immediate Release The 2012 Pritzker Architecture Prize Ceremony will be held in Beijing, China on May 25, 2012. This location was disclosed today in a joint announcement by Guo Jinlong, Mayor of Beijing, China and Thomas J. Pritzker, chairman of The Hyatt Foundation. Pritzker elaborated, “During the three decades of prize-giving, we have held ceremonies in 14 different countries, in venues ranging from the White House in Washington, DC to Todai-ji Temple in Nara, Japan. The tradition of moving the event to sites of global architectural significance was established to emphasize that the prize is international, the laureates having been chosen from 16 different nations to date. This will be our 34th event and the first time we have gone to China.” “It is particularly appropriate that we should go to China because so many of the laureates have projects there, either in progress or completed, including one of our earliest laureates, I.M. Pei, who won the prize in 1983,” Pritzker continued. “Some of the others include the 2002 Pritzker Laureate Zaha Hadid of London who designed the new opera house in Guangzhou; the 2001 laureates Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron of Switzerland who designed Beijing’s National Stadium; Rem Koolhaas of the Netherlands whose projects in China include the headquarters of Central Chinese Television in Beijing and the Shenzen Stock Exchange; and the 1999 Pritzker Laureate Norman Foster who has completed the Hong Kong International Airport as well as the headquarters for the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank.” Mayor Guo Jinlong said, “The Pritzker Architecture Prize is the most recognized award in the architectural field throughout the world.
