I’ve had the privilege of humbly serving faculty and staff to instill in me a desire to use my communication CIU alumni as a member of the Alumni Association Leadership skills to create video presentations of what He is doing in the Council (AALC). I continue to be inspired as I hear about the world. This calling was driven home by friendships and those ways God is using CIU alumni worldwide. I am also encouraged who mentored me. It led me to join with fellow CIU alumnus, every year as I return to campus for Homecoming. The claims made by D. Norville in the book “Thank You Power: Making the Science of Gratitude Work for You” seem like a too-good-to-be-true infomercial. We owe a debt of gratitude to CBC/CIU for the education, wise counsel, affirmation and lifetime direction we received while students – building in us the infrastructure for life. We can say “thank you” through prayer and financial support. But another way is to serve on the Alumni Association Leadership Council for the years 2013-2015, which coincides with CIU’s 90th anniversary celebration.
