HAVANA CLUB DAIQUIRI Recipe • 50 Ml of Havana Club 3 • 25Ml Fresh Lime • 15Ml Sugar Syrup • (+5Ml Maraschino Liquor for the Frozen Version) • Cubed Ice HAVANA CLUB DAIQUIRI Recipe • 50 ml of Havana Club 3 • 25ml Fresh Lime • 15ml Sugar Syrup • (+5ml maraschino liquor for the Frozen version) • Cubed Ice Glass: Cocktail glass Garnish: lime wheel of a piece of fruit of your choice Let’s get started Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker or jar with a lid, add a large handfull of cubed ice shake until the drink feels cold. Alternatively for a frozen Daiquiri add all ingredients in a blender with a handful of cubed ice and blend. If you’re making drinks for friends then batch up the cocktail by multiplying all ingredients by the number of people your making a Daiquiri for. For a little summer twist try adding some fresh fruit in the blender along with your frozen Daquiri. About the Havana Club Daiquiri From the start of the 20th century, the Cuban capital gave birth to a raft of cocktails including the Daiquiri. With the arrival of the Prohibition in the US in the 1920, many Americans were indeed flying to the cocktail heaven: Cuba and its famous bars, including the undisputed home of daiquiris: the Floridita Bar in Havana. The Daiquiri soon became a legend, due to the famous people who drank it, including Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ava Gardner and Frank Sinatra. We love it in its classic version but also frozen, perfect for the hot summer days. Add fresh fruits in your frozen Daq and chill. HAVANA MOJITO Recipe • 50 ml of Havana Club 3 • 25ml Fresh Lime • 2 teaspoons of white sugar • 2 full mint stems • 50ml Sparkling Water • Cubed Ice Glass: Highball Garnish: Mint Sprig Let’s get started Add the sugar and lime in the glass and mix until the sugar dissolves Take your mint and slap it on your hands twice to release the full aromas. Place the full mint stems in your glass and muddle Add the Havana Club 3. Fill your glass with cubed ice and top up with sparkling water. Now mix all your ingredients and don’t forget to add your mint sprig garnish! The Havana Mojito Story: the True Taste of Cuba The Mojito is one of the most famous cocktails in the world and one of the oldest in Cuba. It is known to be a favorite of Ernest Hemingway, who only drank it at la Bodeguita del Medio bar in Havana, credited with making the first ever mojito. All say that this legendary cuban cocktail deserves a cuban rum to get a proper sensorial experience and the true taste of Cuba: that’s Havana Club 3 Años, a rum that is 100% made and aged in Cuba, full of flavor and complexity. HAVANA LIMON Ingredients • 50ml Havana Club Especial • 100ml Bitter lemon soft-drink • Lime wedges • Cubed Ice Glass: Highball Garnish: 1 or 2 lime wedges depending on your palate Let’s get started Take your glass and add the Havana Club Especial then fill your glass to the top with cubed ice ( the more ice you have in your glass the colder your drink stays for longer) then top up with bitter lemon and finally add some lime wedges to your taste. The Havana Limon Story The Havana Limon is a fresh and delicious cocktail, directly inspired from the world’s famous Cuba Libre. Havana Limon needs a generous squeeze of lime to even out the drink’s sweetness. Created with absolutely no added sugar, colors or artificial flavors, Havana Club Especial is the perfect golden rum to take this cocktail to the next level. HAVANA CLUB 7 GINGER Ingredients • 50ml Havana Club 7 • 100ml Ginger Ale for a soft sweetness or ginger beer for more spice • Lime wedges • Cubed Ice Glass: Highball Garnish: 1 or 2 lime wedges depending on your palate Let’s get started Take your glass and add the Havana Club 7 then fill your glass to the top with cubed ice ( the more ice you have in your glass the colder your drink stays for longer) then top up with your choice of ginger ale or ginger beer. Finally add some lime wedges to your taste. The 7’ Ginger Story The 7’ Ginger is directly inspired by the urban and multicultural power of the streets of Cuba, inviting rum lovers around the world to join the cuban rum revolution with every sip of Havana Club. The 7’ Ginger is fresh, easy to make, delicious, and especially heroed by this huge emblem of national pride, demonstrating that Cuban rum can rival the finest spirits from anywhere in the world: Havana Club 7 Años. vodka soda Ingredients • 40 ml Absolut Vodka • 150 ml Soda Water • 15 ml Lime Juice • 2 Wheels Lime • Ice Cubes How to mix Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with coffee beans. about espresso martini The famous Espresso Martini is a top drink and a classic Kahlua cocktail. Invented by the famous late bartender Dick Bradsell, as a peculiar request from a British top model in his London bar in 1983. The Espresso Martini is a cocktail with a story, a history and a legacy. Prepare the espresso coffee beforehand and let it chill. That will help to minimize the dilution, make your drink colder and even tastier! When shaking: Remember to wake the drink to life, do not rock it to bed. That will also improve the frothy foam on top of your final drink. When straining: Make sure to pour the drink brisk and swift from your shaker. That will help getting all that beautiful foam out and land on top of your drink. Legend says that when late bartender legend Dick Bradsell invented the Espresso Martini a super model walked up to him and said the famous words:“Can you please make something that will wake me up and then f**k me up?” sea breeze Ingredients • 45 ml Absolut Vodka • 80 ml Grapefruit Juice • 45 ml Cranberry Juice • 1 Wheel Lime • Ice Cubes How to mix Fill a highball glass with ice cubes. • Mojito Recipe
The Mojito Possibly the most revitalising drink there is! The mojito evolved on Cuba, and they certainly know a thing or two about refreshment there. Specs: 60ml (2oz) white rum 20ml (2/3oz) fresh lime juice 20ml (2/3oz) sugar syrup 6 – 8 mint leaves Top soda water (optional) Crushed ice Mint sprig to garnish Equipment: A jigger A barspoon A highball glass A tea towel A wooden mallet/rolling pin A bar napkin (unless you're making this for yourself!) Method: First you need to crush your ice if you don’t have a crushed ice machine to hand. Some food processors are able to do it, otherwise wrap your ice securely in a tea towel or two and bash it with a wooden mallet or rolling pin until well broken up (although don’t stress too much, some larger and some smaller pieces are fine). Add all of your ingredients to your glass and fill with ice to just under the top of the glass. We don’t muddle – just give the mint a gentle clap – so as to keep the drink lighter and fresher, but if you do, do it gently. Place your barspoon in the glass and cover the top with the bar napkin. Churn through, add more ice and repeat until the glass is pretty much full and the mint is suspended through the drink. Top with a cap of crushed ice and some soda water if you like a little spritz. Garnish with a mint sprig, and enjoy! Suggested spirits: Bacardi, would have most likely been the original rum for this and we’ve stuck to it for it’s fresh grassiness.

“The only THE MARTINI American Mixed Origins invention as There’s no cocktail more distinctly American than perfect as the martini, yet its origin is a murky one. Many historians follow the martini back to the California the sonnet.” Gold Rush. The story goes that a miner walked into — H.L. Mencken a bar in Martinez, California and asked for a drink to celebrate his fortune. The bartender threw together what he had on hand — sweet vermouth, gin, bitters, maraschino liqueur, and a lemon slice — calling it a “Martinez” after the town. The Martinez became a hit, and was published in the Bartender’s Guide in 1887. Yet there are other claims on the cocktails origin. Author and historian Barnaby Conrad III, asserts that The Occidental Hotel in San Francisco is its true birthplace. Another story claims a New York bartender invented it at The Knickerbocker Hotel in 1911. Then there’s also the claim from an Italian vermouth maker, Martini, which started marketing its product under the same name in 1863. Although its origin is a mystery, the Martini is an American icon. Taking Form During Prohibition easy access to gin led to the Martini’s popularity, and its most recognizable form. By 1922, preparing a Martini consisted of London dry gin and dry vermouth combined at a ratio of 2:1, stirred in a mixing glass with ice cubes, and the optional addition of orange or aromatic bitters, then strained into a chilled cocktail glass. Shaken, not Stirred No real or fictional character has done more for the classic martini than James Bond, making famous the line, “Shaken, not stirred”.
