While teaching s i r i a student from Italy who, because of the time difference, gets in Ireland, I took students to Carraroe in Connemara .

Dawn is an All-Ireland champion & the winner of Irish Echo’s People’s choice award 40 under 40 CENTER CEILI BAND & BALLAD GROUP in 2020. Frankie Mc Cormick, All-Ireland champion from County Armagh has worked with Dawn as Aisling Center’s musical director in keeping the music alive throughout Profession : Music Director of the Aisling Irish center Ceili band & ballad group the whole pandemic. How have you continued to practice your art during the pandemic? During the pandemic I continued music & singing lessons on line. I started Ceol le chéile on my Facebook page which featured a different student every night singing or playing music. I had all my students send me videos on a daily basis and I did this every night and I still continue to do it. I received so many emails and messages of thank you and support for continuing the music and giving children a life line during the pandemic to meet virtually on line with their friends. We also made several music videos. One at Untermyer Gardens at Christmas time which was on News 12 Christmas Day, we were part of the Late late Christmas toy show in Ireland where we recorded a video in Times Square, we recently did a video The Rose of Mooncoin for Vicky Phelan currently in US receiving treatment for Cancer, and we also did a beautiful video for Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations.
