Unique architecture: the museum is housed in the historical seaplane hangars built in 1916-1917 as a defence structure for the Russian Empire. The hangars were the world’s first thin-shell соnGrete domes of such võlume. Genuine exhibits: the ‘Lembit’ submarine from the 1930s, the century-old steam-powered icebreaker ‘Suur Töil’, boats and sailing ships, the only existing life-sized сору of the Short 184 seaplane and many Enjoythe exhibition in Estonian, Russian or English! ACTIVITIES: A memorable adventure for the whole family: take a voyage around the worid in the Yellow Submarine, have a photo taken in army costume, see the great aquarium, try the simulators, visit the cinema and much more! A maritime-themed museum shop with a splendid selection to choose from; cafe/restaurant with a cosy terra öe. A working harbour, boats and sailing ships, magnificent sea and city view, and a playground for children. Exciting guided tours in various languages can be booked in advance. In the summertime, visitors can also use our cosy outside terrace.
