Titiyo Släpper Samlingsalbum: 2013-10-24 11:00 CEST Titiyo släpper samlingsalbum: "Titiyo – Collection" Med sin karaktäristiska röst och förmågan att explodera på scenen har Titiyo blivit en av Sveriges mest hyllade artister. Titiyo började sin musikkarriär som körsångerska bakom Orup år 1987. Trots att Orup själv var på väg mot ett mäktigt genombrott utmärkte sig Titiyo. Sångerskan framstod snabbt som en svensk motsvarighet till ikonen Aretha Franklin och år 1988 fick Titiyo skivkontrakt med nystartade skivbolaget Telegram. Debutsingeln ”Break My Heart” släpptes 1989 och kort därefter släpptes ”Talking To The Man In The Moon” som blev Titiyos stora genombrott. Det resulterade i en Grammis som ”Årets nykomling” 1989 och året därpå släpptes även självtitulerade debutalbumet, Titiyo. Under åren har Titiyo vunnit fyra grammisar och två Rockbjörnar. Från genombrottet fram till idag har Titiyo släppt fem soloalbum. De hyllade albumen har innehållit massor av olika intressanta samarbeten såsom ”Come Along” (2001) där hon samarbetade med Joakim Berg (Kent) och Peter Svensson (The Cardigans), ”Hidden” (2008) som innehöll singeln "Longing For Lullabies" som Titiyo gjorde tillsammans med Kleerup. I Titiyos egna originalversion blev "Longing For Lullabies" en av årets mest spelade låtar i svensk radio år 2008. Under 2010 och 2011 drev Titiyo tillsammans med Teodor Jensen musikprojektet Keep Company och i slutet av 2012 gjorde hon kritikersuccé med sidoprojektet El Rojo Adios tillsammans med Andreas Söderström. Nu släpps Titiyos alla låtskatter på ett samlingsalbum "Titiyo – Collection". Albumet har digitalt release den 26 oktober och fysiskt release den 13 november. Sångerskan medverkar under hösten i TV4:s succéprogram "Så Mycket bättre". Där får vi se artister som Agnes Carlsson, Ebbot, Ken Ring, Lill Lindfors, Bo Sundström och Ulf Dageby tolka alla Titiyos tidigare hits. "Titiyo – Collection" Tracklist: 1. Titiyo - Come Along 2. This review discusses the challenges related to the early detection of oCOPD, in the context of new exposures and of limited usage of methods for an efficient disease occupational screening. It underlines that a better translation into clinical practice of the new methods for lung function impairment measurements, imaging techniques, or the use of serum or exhaled breath inflammation biomarkers could add significant value in the early detection of oCOPD.     First Monday Online groups are taking new forms as participants spread themselves amongst multiple Internet and offline platforms. The multinational online community of Swedish independent music fans exemplifies this trend. This participant–observation analysis of this fandom shows how sites are interlinked at multiple levels, and identifies several implications for theorists, researchers, developers, industry and independent professionals, and participants. Contents Introduction Fandom Swedish popular music The Swedish indie music fan community Discussion Conclusion Introduction The rise of social network sites is often taken to exemplify a shift from the interest–based online communities of the Web’s “first” incarnation to a new “Web 2.0” in which individuals are the basic unit, rather than communities. In a recent First Monday article, for instance, boyd (2006) states, “egocentric networks replace groups.” I argue that online groups have not been “replaced.” Even as their members build personal profiles and egocentric networks on MySpace, Facebook, BlackPlanet, Orkut, Bebo, and countless other emerging social network sites, online groups continue to thrive on Web boards, in multiplayer online games, and even on the all–but–forgotten Usenet. However, online communities are also taking a new form somewhere between the site-based online group and the egocentric network, distributing themselves throughout a variety of sites in a quasi–coherent networked fashion. This new form of distributed community poses particular problems for its members, developers, and analysts. This paper, based on over two years of participant–observation, describes this new shape of online community through a close look at the multinational online community of fans of independent rock music from Sweden.

These are all songs we perform, but there is way more here than we would usually play. You can tell us what you like and prefer and we can tailor our sets to your preferences to some degree.     Monitoring the cross-border circulation of European music repertoire within the European Union Report commissioned by EMO & Eurosonic Noordeslag Emmanuel Legrand January 2012 1 About this report: The music scene in Europe is very strong, creative and diversified. Each country within the European Union has a solid local music scene. However, due to the structure of the various national markets, the existence of language diversity and different cultural behaviours, the flow of repertoire across borders within the EU is far from reflecting the notion of one single market. Although there have been embryonic attempts to document the situation of European music repertoire in Europe, the full scale of the situation has never been fully monitored. The European Music Office, in partnership with Eurosonic Noordeslag and Nielsen, has undertaken a preliminary study aimed at monitoring and analysing the cross-border flows of repertoire within the EU in 2011. The study provides quantifiable data on the circulation of repertoire with the ambition of becoming the foundation for an observatory of the circulation of repertoire in Europe. Even though the melodies are "eternal" in many respects Sweden got more to offer. In this introduction to Swedish soul and funk and jazz from 1979 to 1990, with a brief overview of the 90s as well, I will give you a short history and most of all my recommendations to you of the best rare Swedish soul and funk grooves! Music history Sweden got a rather limited amount of more prominent composers during the history. The most well known names during the period 1700-1800 are baroque composer Johan Helmich Roman and the troubadour Carl Michael Bellman. Between 1800 and 1900 Sweden had many names but no one reached higher levels of recognition outside Sweden. From 1900 until 1945 completely new genres got a foothold on Swedish soil and jazz became one of the most important ones. After the end of the second world war the jazz influences from USA got even stronger and during the following decades after 1945. Sweden have since the 50s produced outstanding jazz impressionists and vocalists that achieved much attention both in Sweden and on the American scene with names like vocalist Alice Babs, clarinetist Åke Hasselgård, that was one of the first to play bop, pianist Bengt Hallberg and altoist Arne Domnerus. Many of these played or sang with the greatest names in America.
