CO: cast on K: knit AMOUNT OF YARN needed: K2tog: knit 2 together - Newborn - toddler sizes: 2.1 oz/60 g/130 yds K1TBL: knit 1 through back loop - child to adult sizes: 2.8 oz/80 g/ 174 yds P: purl FOR RIBBING: Circular needle Size 3/US (3.25 mm) (for P2tog: purl 2 together magic loop method) or size needed to obtain below gauge; P1TBL: purl 1 through back loop FOR MAIN PART: Circular needle Size 5/US (3.75 mm) R: round/row and, for in-the-round knitting method only, 1 set of Size RS: right side 4/US (3.5 mm) or size needed to obtain below gauge; Sl1: slip 1 knitwise St(s): stitch(es) Scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers as necessary.
