o Vientiane Today we begin to see the major sights of the capital, including Sisaket, which contains more than 8000 Buddha , Wat Ho Prakeo the former home of the Emerald Buddha and That Luang Stupa, the single most important monument in Laos. We also see the Patuxay (Lao Arc de Triomphe), which was built in commemoration of those who died during past wars and today it is the city’s main landmark. In the afternoon we transfer out to see Buddha Park, a scattered and enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures near the Friendship Bridge. There are approximately 200 religious images here dating back over 500 years. Observing the spectacular sunset view over the River is a perfect way to finish the day.

o Luang Prabang Visit Royal Palace, now the National Museum, where you will explore the . Continue on foot to Wat Mai , a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief, and Wat Sensoukarahm temple, which features a beautiful dazzling golden façade. Next we visit Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.

o Evening Offsite dinner at local restaurant. After dinner, explore the night market, where you can find a wide collection of handmade textile by local and hill tribe people in the surrounding towns.

o Morning - Luang Prabang We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a panaromic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the small village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is distilled. We return to LuangPrabang in the afternoon, on the way we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a small village well known for its hand weaving.

o Afternoon Departure by road to the Khuang Xi Waterfalls. The waterfalls tumble over multi – tiered limestone formations into cool, clear pools ideal for swimming and relaxing. On the way to the waterfalls, visit the Khmu minority village of Ban Thapaene for a glimpse into their lifestyle.

o Experience the amazing moment with gala dinner at restaurant along Mekong River combined with a traditional Baci ceremony.

Country Name o Morning - Luang Prabang Day 6 This morning transfer into the countryside surrounding Luang Prabang. The All Lao Elephant Camp is set among lush vegetation on the banks of the Nam Khan River. Here you will be introduced to the protected Asian Elephants and given some information about the efforts to protect them. This camp has a total of 15 elephants and each one is only ridden for a maximum of 3 hours per day, which means that the animal welfare here is much better than at many other camps in the area. Most of the elephants have been rescued from a life of logging. Climb aboard for a scenic ride in the natural setting along the river. Enjoy the new perspective and the wonderful nature on this ride of approximately 1 hour. In the late morning you will be transferred back to Luang Prabang.
